Jessie James Decker is ready to spread some holiday joy with the forthcoming feature Karen Kingsbury’s The Christmas Ring.

Decker, a country singer who starred with husband Eric Decker on the E! unscripted series Eric & Jessie: Game On, will make her acting debut with the film that is set for theatrical release Nov. 6 from Fathom Entertainment, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned. Debbie Winans is also joining previously announced castmembers Kelsey Grammer, Benjamin Hollingsworth and Jana Kramer in director Tyler Russell’s holiday movie adapting Kingbury’s new book, The Christmas Ring, that hits shelves Oct. 21.

Karen Kingsbury’s The Christmas Ring centers on Vanessa (Kramer), a military widow who falls for a charming antiques dealer (Hollingsworth) while trying to track down the titular accessory that is a prized heirloom for her family. However, the antique dealer’s dad (Grammer) makes a discovery that could have major ramifications.

Along with Benjamin Hollingsworth (Virgin River), the 3x Golden Globe winner joins Jana Kramer in director Tyler Russell and producer Natalie Ruffino Wilson’s adaptation of Kingsbury’s upcoming book, which hits shelves Oct. 21 via Thomas Nelson/Harper Collins, ahead of the feature adaptation’s premiere in theaters on Nov. 6 via Fathom Entertainment.

The Christmas Ring stars Kramer as the widow of a U.S. Armed Forces member, looking for her missing family Christmas ring when she meets a charming antiques dealer (Hollingsworth), whose father might unwittingly have the lost heirloom. FBI star Missy Peregrym's overlooked horror movie Out Come the Wolves has found a streaming home. The survival film will debut on Hulu on Friday, June 20.

Out Come the Wolves is a reunion for Peregrym and director Adam MacDonald. The duo collaborated on the project after previously working together on his 2014 movie Backcountry -- which pitted Peregrym against a vicious black bear. And according to MacDonald, the two films have much more in common.

Peregrym is once again battling the forces of nature in Out Come the Wolves, when a hunting getaway into the forest takes a terrifying turn. Her character Sophie, Sophie's boyfriend Nolan (played by Damon Runyan) and her friend Kyle (Joris Jarsky) must all fight for their lives when they are methodically hunted by a pack of wolves.

The pic, after an unexpected $80 million Easter weekend start, will continue to rumble with a 55%-60% second-weekend drop to between $32M-$36M. Through four days, the Adam Wingard-directed Monsterverse title stands at $87.7M, fueled by 57% of K-12 schools out Monday and another 14% colleges. Expect more cash today as, per Comscore, there are 28% of K-12 school out, and 5% universities.

After a slow start to 2024, March picked up the slack. Hopefully, these upcoming films, including Dev Patel's directorial debut, a Nicolas Cage flick, and Alex Garland's latest thriller, will see audiences return to theaters.
