Frank Modica is a film and television actor based in New York, NY. Frank Modica was coached and inspired by his late cousin actor Robert Modica at Robert Modica Acting Studio in New York City 2012. Robert Modica taught the craft to the likes of Broadway legend Marian Seldes, John Turturro, David Duchovny, Louise Lasser, and Rachel Ward. Robert Modica also worked as an actor, with appearances in such films as Francis Ford Coppola's The Rain People (1969), Arthur Hiller's Love Story (1970), Men of Respect (1990) and Fast Food Fast Women (2000), and on such TV series as Kojak and The Equalizer. Frank Modica Jr. was fortunate enough to have Robert Modica take him under his wing. Frank Modica also attended The Philadelphia Acting Studio. He has appeared in a wide range of independent films.

Frank had the opportunity to appear on successful productions, such as Fox TV's Gotham, as well as The Irishman, by Martin Scorsese.

Following his performance in "The Fated," he became a member of the Screen Actors Guild.

Frank is passionate about storytelling, and bringing characters through life with his commitment to acting and performing. His approach and line delivery has often been compared with iconic artists such as Christopher Walken. He also has created a comedic wacky character "Gilbert" from his award-winning comedy Feature Film "The Gilbert Diaries".

The Gilbert Diaries won the Vegas Movie Award for "Best Comedy" January 2023 as well as 4 other awards including 2 from the Chelsea Film Festival NYC.. The Gilbert Diaries movie is on Amazon Prime Video , Tubi TV, Sunn Stream, Cinedigm platforms and partners.

Aside from acting, Frank Modica is also a writer, producer, and director. He wrote and starred in the award-winning short film "The Fated," which premiered at the Long Island International Film Expo in Long Island, NY. He also wrote, produced, and starred in the comedy feature film "The Gilbert Diaries," which won multiple awards in different film festivals.

Frank is a versatile artist, looking forward to challenging roles and collaborating with like-minded creators in the industry. He believes that acting is not just about entertaining people, but about telling stories that resonate and inspire audiences.
