M.M. Sarkar was born on 6 May 1955 in Sirajganj, East Pakistan [now in Sirajganj, Bangladesh]. He was a director, known for Protiddandi (1989), Bagher Bachcha (2004) and Himmat (2001). He died on 29 December 2012 in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
