Benoit Blanc’s next mystery is afoot. Daniel Craig will reprise the role of the famous detective who drove Rian Johnson’s two previous installments, Knives Out and Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.

Netflix has shared a first look at Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, the third installment of filmmaker Rian Johnson’s franchise. The film will launch on the streaming service on December 12, 2025.

We first met the famed private detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) in 2019’s Knives Out when he was hired to investigate the death of best-selling author Harlan Thrombey. Blanc teamed up with nurse Marta Cabrera (Ana de Armas) to uncover the truth in a twisted case filled with angry relatives, red herrings, and fabulous knitwear.

Blanc’s skills were called upon once more in Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, when he headed to Greece to peel back the layers of intrigue surrounding tech billionaire Miles Bron (Edward Norton) and an eclectic group of disruptors.

Katherine Langford is officially a musical theatre star!

The 28-year-old actress, best known for 13 Reasons Why and Knives Out, celebrated the press night for her run in the musical Cabaret in the West End on Thursday (October 17) in London, England.

Katherine is playing the role of Sally Bowles opposite Adam Gillen as the Emcee for a limited engagement through January 25, 2025.

The West End revival of Cabaret picked up seven Olivier Awards, including Best Musical Revival. The same production is now running on Broadway with Auli’i Cravalho and Adam Lambert leading the show.

Shared by X user Jakob Von Doom, the scene is set in the Soul Stone's Soulworld where Tony meets an older version of his daughter, Morgan, played by Katherine Langford. We don't think this would be an adult version of the little girl introduced in Avengers: Endgame (the timings don't quite work), so it's likely the Multiverse will come into play.

“Aaaand that’s a wrap on Wake Up Dead Man. Went so fast! Best crew, incredible cast, this was a really special shoot and I cannot wait to put it together,” Johnson shared in a post on X, the microblogging platform formerly known as Twitter.

Johnson also shared a photo with a sign that read, “Please be mindful of graves.”

We first met the famed private detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) in 2019’s Knives Out when he was hired to investigate the death of best-selling author Harlan Thrombey (Christopher Plummer).
