The Indian action crime thriller, Mirzapur, features a cast of notable Indian actors as well as a few talents new to the space. One of the best Hindi original dramas available on Amazon Prime Video, Mirzapur follows Akhandanand "Kaleen Bhaiya" Tripathi (Pankaj Tripathi), a crime boss and businessman who is the de facto ruler of the Mirzapur district in the Purvanchal region of Uttar Pradesh state in India. The series premiered in 2018 on Prime Video in the Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages and since then, there have been two more seasons of the show.

In the first season of the series, Akhananand accidentally crosses paths with Ramakant Pandit (Rajesh Tailang), an upstanding lawyer, and his son, Guddu (Ali Fazal).
