Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which, after the incredibly short Elevation, is a whopping 11-match card! Let’s just say I prefer the shorter shows… So on with the review!
Match #1: Fuego Del Sol def. Jay Malachi
My Thoughts: After what seems like spending ages working the indies, Aew’s Fuego Del Sol is back on the company’s programming! In a match that was actually one of Fuego’s best for the company – with no overuse of gimmicks, just two guys going at it in a great wrestling match.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Leila Gray def. Tiara James
My Thoughts: If ever there was an example of the typical Aew quasi-squash match, this was it. And that was all this was Tbh.
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #3: Jeeves Kay def. Gus De La Vega
My Thoughts: The Trustbusters valet gets a match. And...

Welcome to this week’s Ring Of Honor review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and Greta Thunberg is famous. I didn’t know why until this morning. Why did people allow her to become the spokesman for climate change? There are plenty of less-arrogant people who have fought much harder than her to make progress and are never given the spot-light to say a damn thing. I know. This s— happens all the time. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. In any case, I feel a bit rusty, so…
Match #1: Dak Draper def. Shaheem Ali The following is courtesy of rohwrestling.com:
Ali seized the advantage with a flurry of offense, including a running dropkick in the corner and a Doctor Bomb for a near fall. Draper answered with a springboard back elbow before landing the Magnum Ko for the win.
My Opinion: 2.6 out of 5 – These...

Welcome to this week’s Ring Of Honor review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have The Snyder Cut. I’m just yankin’ your chain. I don’t care. It’s wrestling time. Wait, it’s 14:35. Tim Robbins, baby!
Match #1: Silas Young and Josh Woods def. The Bouncers (Beer City Bruiser and Brawler Milonas), Coast 2 Coast (Lsg and Shaheem Ali) and Soldiers of Savagery (Moses and Kaun) The following is courtesy of rohwrestling.com:
All four teams had their moments in the match, but in the end it was Young and Woods who prevailed to remain undefeated. Young catapulted Lsg into Woods’ flying knees for the win.
My Opinion: 2.8 out of 5 – This was pretty good, mostly because Silas smacked the s— out of everybody. Why is Silas not getting more World Title shots? Who did he piss off? Greg Gilliland/Gilleland/who gives a...

Welcome to this week’s Ring Of Honor review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have two matches, which is good, considering that this is a wrestling show. Jimmy Kimmel is very attractive on Crank Yankers. I pulled up my Depends and pooped my crap-shaft! It was good. Okay, here comes two matches.
Match #1: Silas Young and Josh Woods beat Coast 2 Coast (Lsg and Shaheem Ali) The following is courtesy of rohwrestling.com:
Young and Woods isolated Ali early, but Coast 2 Coast used double-team tactics behind the referee’s back to take control and isolate Woods. After Young eventually tagged in, he ran wild on both Lsg and Ali. Young hit an anarchist suplex on Ali for a near fall before finishing him off with an assisted cutter.
My Opinion: 2.4 out of 5 – Okay, this didn’t go very long, but it counts. Right? This was...

Welcome to this week’s Ring Of Honor review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have one match. One !@#$%&? match. Aew and Nxt are gonna battle each other every Wednesday for viewers and Roh has one match. Was a Godzilla a virgin? That’s why the Japanese were always running from him! It’s…it’s…huge! Godzilla…big crotch! Okay, let’s get to the one match.
Match #1: (Main Event) Rhett Titus beat Shaheem Ali The following is courtesy of rohwrestling.com:
Titus hit a slingshot Northern Lights suplex for a near fall. Titus then went for a slingshot cross body to the outside, but Ali caught him and landed an overhead suplex on the floor. Back inside the ring, Ali hit a frog slash, but Titus kicked out at one. Ali attempted a second frog splash, but Titus rolled out of the way.

Welcome to this week’s Ring Of Honor review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have some more wrestling…dude.
Match #1: LifeBlood defeated Dalton Castle and The Boys The following is courtesy of rohwrestling.com:
Castle and The Boys isolated Bandido, but Bandido eventually tagged out to Robinson, who ran wild on both Boys. He hit an airplane spin, Juice Box and Pulp Friction on a Boy and made the cover, but Castle pulled Robinson out of the ring. Bandido landed a dive over the top rope onto Castle on the floor. Later, a Boy inadvertently kicked Castle. Bandido hit an over-the-top rope hurricanrana on Castle on the floor, and then hit a springboard moonsault on a Boy, who was draped over the middle rope. Castle again broke up the pin. Bandido threw one of the Boys into Castle and then landed 21 Plex on a Boy for the victory,...
