The new regime of WWE, led by Nick Khan and Triple H under the Tko banner, has touched unprecedented heights of success. One of the masterstrokes pulled by the company was the acquisition of the Lucha Libre promotion Aaa. The deal was announced during the WrestleMania 41 festivities and gained major praise from fans.
Since then, the two promotions have produced some events in collaboration, and the fans have seen crossovers between the two brands. They will see it once again, as the Aaa promotion announced via their Instagram that the main roster, Natalya, and Nxt star Lola Vice will be competing at their upcoming event.

Match #1: Evolution Eliminator – Jaida Parker def. Thea Hail The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Jaida Parker became the first Superstar to move on in the Evolution Eliminator as she defeated Thea Hail, albeit not without controversy. Hail attacked Parker before the match even began and launched a ferocious assault, culminating in her devastating signature Kimura Lock. Parker appeared to tap out and Hail relinquished the hold to celebrate, but the official never saw the tap, prompting Parker to hit a Hipnotic to knock Hail out and win the match.

Dragon Lee and Cruz del Toro of The Lwo teamed with Lince Dorado to take on Aaa stars Mr. Iguana, Aero Star and Octagón Jr. to get Worlds Collide started off with a bang. Natalya and Bayley take pride in giving back to the pro wrestling business. The WWE stars have grinded for every piece of success they’ve had, which makes them among the most respected in the locker room. Natalya just marked her 18th uninterrupted year working for the company. The former Total Divas star’s road has been paved with gold and a few Guinness World Records. Bayley’s resume is also impressive with Women’s Championship reigns and Royal Rumble wins. Despite all their accomplishments, they are always willing to impart knowledge to today’s emerging talent. Charlotte Flair, Rhea Ripley, Ronda Rousey, Liv Morgan and Lola Vice are just a few who have spoken highly of Natalya’s ability to help them raise their game. Another is Bayley, who most recently began working with young talent on Nxt. After playing in the NBA All Star Celebrity Game on February...

The 2024 calendar for WWE is one that will not be soon forgotten. Not just because of the matches, moments, or even achievements committed to the WWE brand, but because of the in-storyline grudges that emanated from WWE programming. Even more so than the matches, it's the rivalries and storylines that bring viewers back week in and week out, and 2024 had several that were worth tuning in to.
One rivalry worth mentioning as an honorable mention is that between Chelsea Green vs. Michin, a fun midcard feud for the women's division that delivered an entertaining Dumpster Match and an inaugural Women's United States Champion at Saturday Night's Main Event. Similar can be said for Chad Gable vs. Alpha Academy, which almost earned a spot in the Top 10 had it not been paused by the Wyatt Sicks introduction and failed to regain momentum months after.

Nxt Deadline begins to wind down the WWE calendar year in explosive style in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Oba Femi returned to win the first Iron Survivor challenge of the evening, narrowly escaping a Je'von Evans pin to seal the victory. This sets up a huge feud with Nxt Champion Trick Williams, who successfully defended his title against Ridge Holland. Nathan Frazer and Axiom also retained their titles in an astonishing match with No Quarter Catch Crew's Myles Borne & Tavion Heights.
Lola Vice defeated Jaida Parker in a personal and physical Nxt Underground match, but the Match of the Night came with the Women's Iron Survivor match. One of the most must-see matches in the second half of WWE's calendar, Giulia emerged as the winner and new Number One Contender for Roxanne Perez's Women's Nxt Championship, but it was a night in which everybody came out looking like they had world-class potential.

With the action going back and forth inside the ring, SmackDown’s Chelsea Green and Piper Niven crashed the scene and forced a No Contest by laying out all four Superstars.

Match #1: Stephanie Vaquer def. Wren Sinclair The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The hype is real as Nxt’s newest sensation Stephanie Vaquer shined in her debut against Wren Sinclair. After the match, Nxt Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade launched on sneak attack on Vaquer, prompting Giulia to save her.

Roxanne Perez continues her epic reign as Nxt Women’s Champion as she overcame her greatest test yet in the global sensation Giulia. The Prodigy and The Beautiful Madness locked horns and were every bit each other’s equal, but it was the challenger that began unleashing hellish blows that left the champion looking for an answer that came in the form of a Tope Suicida. Former Nxt Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria’s return to Nxt was a successful one as she helped Tatum Paxley take down the evil team of Wendy Choo and Tna’s Rosemary. The teamwork of Valkyria and Paxley was on full display as they used impeccable tag team maneuvers to gain control, including a stereo dropkick through the ropes. Rosemary and Choo regained the advantage thanks to well-timed kick from the Nxt Superstar, but Paxley persevered and refused to give in on behalf of her team. Roxanne Perez has done more at age 22 in WWE than some may do their entire career. “The Prodigy” currently reigns as the WWE Nxt women’s champion. It has been an impressive run for Perez who successfully held on to the gold against the likes of Chelsea Green, Natalya, Lola Vice, Lyra Valkyria, and even Tna’s own Jordynne Grace. Confidence continues to grow for the impressive talent with each outing as the brand’s show gears up for its move to The CW on October 1. Perez hopes to be the champ for the milestone event. Jaida Parker stands in her way from making that happen. The emerging superstar looks to take the title at No Mercy on September 1. Here Perez gives her thoughts on Parker, learning under Cm Punk and wanting to build a legacy. Who are you channeling when you are playing this villainous character on TV? Roxanne Perez: So many people.

Things are heating up in the WWE Nxt women’s division, and a big reason for that is Miami’s spicy Lola Vice (Valerie Loureda). The Mma fighter has made a smooth transition into pro wrestling thanks to her innate charisma and ability to entertain audiences. However, at the Nxt Battleground: Las Vegas it’ll be all business as she competes in the brutal Nxt Underground match against fellow fighter Shayna Baszler. Vice defeated the legendary Natalya in what was the first time two women faced off in the environment. The 25-year-old is looking for a similar result against her former training partner. This time around brings a new atmosphere with the Peacock Premium Live Event (Ple) taking place in the UFC Apex. The venue has held Power Slap and UFC events in the past, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic without fans. It’s new, yet familiar territory for the participants.

Nathan Frazer and Axiom are officially headed to Stand & Deliver after the dynamic duo defeated The Lwo and Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match to become the No. 1 Contenders to the Nxt Tag Team Titles. The speed of Frazer and Axiom was matched by Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro, but the brute strength of Gallows and Anderson clashed with their speedy and athletic opponents. Chaos ensued when all six Superstars found themselves in the ring, and a Magic Killer to Wilde opened the door for Frazer to hit a scintillating 450 Splash to punch his team’s ticket to Stand & Deliver.

Match #1: Dijak def. Shawn Spears The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
In a match with major Nxt Stand & Deliver implications, Dijak managed outlast Shawn Spears in an incredible one-on-one match between two of the brand’s best. As the two Superstars warred inside the ring, Joe Gacy appeared from under the ring and stole Spears’ signature steel chair, seemingly helping his former rival Dijak. After a brutal, hard-hitting affair, Spears went looking for his chair only to find it missing. The slight distraction gave Dijak enough time to recover and after another back and forth, he finally managed to hit Feast Your Eyes to give him the major win.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5 Match #2: Thea Hail def. Jazmyn Nix The following is courtesy of wwe.

Match #1: Noam Dar & Oro Mensah def. Von Wagner & Mr. Stone The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Von Wagner and Mr. Stone have never been on the same page more than they have been right now, but it still wasn’t enough to trip up The Meta-Four. The chaos started early as all four Superstars brawled before the match even began, but thankfully an official broke it up long enough for the bout to begin. The action was fast and furious with Wagner showing off his incredible power, but the numbers game of The Meta-Four factored in as Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend distracted the official long enough for Mensah to hit a cheap shot and allow Dar to sneak in the winning pinfall.

Match #1: Axiom & Nathan Frazer def. Edris Enofé & Malik Blade The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Even though the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic has concluded, Axiom and Nathan Frazer are still teaming together and picked up a big win over Edris Enofé and Malik Blade. The action was fast and furious as all four Superstars showed off their incredible athleticism, punctuated by a Spanish Fly/Phoenix Splash combo from Axiom and Frazer. After Blade wiped out on the outside, Enofé was left all alone in the ring where Frazer hit another Phoenix Splash followed by a Golden Ratio from Axiom to give them the win.
My Score: 4 out of 5 Match #2: Lexis King def. Riley Osborne The following is courtesy of wwe.

Welcome to this review of Nxt: Vengeance Day, which took place this past Saturday, right here on Nerdly. Let’s get straight into the review!
Match #1: Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic 2024 Final – Baron Corbin & Bron Breakker def. Trick Melo Gang The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The team of Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker managed to put their differences aside to win the 2024 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic by defeating Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams in the Finals. Breakker and Corbin were Superstars on a mission, using their power to dominate early with Breakker even launching his teammate over the top rope right onto Trick Melo Gang. One slip up opened the door for Trick Melo Gang, but Williams found himself in the crosshairs of a Breakker spear, only for Hayes to sacrifice himself. The sheer force of the move knocked Williams out of the ring and he...

Match #1: Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic – Trick Melo Gang def. The Lwo The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams are officially headed to Nxt Vengeance Day as they defeated Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro of The Lwo in the Semifinals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Wilde and Del Toro were on their A-game early on and even managed to hit a tandem splash to the outside, but their amazing offense wasn’t enough to spoil Trick Melo Gang’s night. The Lwo had all of the momentum, but a missed splash by Del Toro opened the door in a big way as Trick nailed a running knee to send his team to Vengeance Day.

Match #1: Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic – Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams def. Edris Enofé & Malik Blade The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Trick Melo Gang is on the same page as Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes took down Edris Enofé and Malik Blade in the first round of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Trick and Melo came out hot, but the supreme athleticism of Blade and Enofé evened the playing field in a big way, highlighted by tandem splashes to the outside. Despite the incredible fight from Blade and Enofé, Trick Melo Gang took care of business and punched their ticket to the semifinals.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5 Match #2: Lyra Valkyria & Tatum Paxley def. Lola Vice & Elektra Lopez The following is courtesy of wwe.
