Talk show host and Dancing With The Stars alum Ricki Lake remains devastated after losing her house in the Los Angeles wildfires — but days after it happened, she had a startling realization about a then-recent interaction with reality TV medium Tyler Henry.
On January 7, what is now known as the Pacific Palisades fire started burning in Los Angeles — and within a day, the inferno had consumed Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag's house, as well as Paris Hilton's home.
Because the entertainment industry is largely centered in LA, several celebrities lost their houses early on, and Ricki Lake was devastated when hers burned down on January 7.
Ricki's Instagram grid has an unfortunate juxtaposition — on January 1, she optimistically captioned a post: "Sunshine and fun times all 2025. Who’s with me?!

Ricki Lake is sharing that her recent experience of losing her home in the L.A. wildfires was predicted by Hollywood medium Tyler Henry less than three months before it happened.
The Hairspray actress took to Instagram on Saturday to share a video of when she and husband, Ross Burningham, went on Henry’s show Live From the Other Side With Tyler Henry in October.
“There might end up being a coincidence where not only do we lose something … I think this may have already happened. If there was a loss of material objects from both fire and water — and water, though, that’s the kind of weird distinction. It’s two separate things,” Henry said in the clip. “So, we’re going to end up finding that there’s a story where there was a house fire or something along those lines, a fire risk! But, they’re separate from that.

If you're a reality TV fan, you know that fall can test the capacity of even the most robust DVR.
This month saw a genuinely staggering number of premieres and returns, whereas last week, America's Got Talent crowned this season's winner and wrapped, and Dancing With The Stars featured a shock double elimination.
It is incredibly busy in reality television land right now, and on top of that, we have shows bouncing around in random time slots to accommodate brand-new shows and major news events (read on for more on that).
The Golden Bachelorette is just getting started, as is Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City to which the once demoted to "Friend" Mary Cosby just returned full-time.
Would you believe that's just the tip of the reality TV iceberg this week? There is so much going on.

As Netflix moves into more live events, there has been plenty to be excited about; whether it is tuning in for a hot dog eating contest or a comedy roast, the approach seems to have paid off to get viewers to come together for a joint viewing experience. This format seems key to the future of Netflix, as they move forward to include sporting events in their line-up as well, the streaming landscape may be turning into a mix of live and cataloged content.
Yet, one recent addition to the library is gaining traction, Live From the Other Side With Tyler Henry, which goes to show that Netflix may be looking more at maximizing profit than offering quality content. Employing a controversial practice and glamorizing it with stars from other Netflix shows, the recent live event is the worst offering yet from the streaming giant.

Tyler Henry, a well-known psychic medium, will debut his new live series on Netflix this week. “Live from the Beyond with Tyler Henry” premieres on Tuesday with one-hour episodes airing every week. In the show, Henry will conduct readings live for both celebrities and regular people in an effort to connect them with departed loved ones from the afterlife.
Through this format, Henry hopes to give viewers an unedited look at his work as a medium. After Life After Death with Tyler Henry's success, Netflix isn't quite done with its partnership with the world-renowned clairvoyant medium. In fact, they've just given the green light on a brand-new series titled Live from the Other Side with Tyler Henry. We shared all there is to know about this upcoming Netflix show below.
Described as a weekly series, Live from the Other Side with Tyler Henry will see Henry offer readings to celebrity guests that might help them find the hope, healing, and closure they are seeking from their loved ones who have passed away.
It's unknown who those celebrity guests will be, and it's hard even to guess because Henry has performed readings on so many celebrities already. We're talking the Kardashians, Megan Fox, Jaime Pressly, Margret Cho, Olivia Culpo, Taye Diggs, Sofia Vergara, etc. But whoever ends up getting a reading, expect it to be emotional.

Tyler Henry is sweating.
We are seated in an airy and bright conference room inside The Hollywood Reporter’s offices at Penske Media Corporation headquarters overlooking the 405 freeway. The 28-year-old, best known as the breakout star of Hollywood Medium on E! followed by the more recent Life After Death on Netflix, offered a polite heads up that he might perspire while doing a personal reading, something that is part of his process as he attempts to connect with the other side. But before Henry did his thing, he defined what it is that he does.
“The technical definition is somebody who communicates with people who have passed,” says Henry, who was in the building to help promote his current live tour (with an upcoming stop in Los Angeles at the Peacock Theater on April 12). “I have come to view it as something a little bit more multifaceted. I view mediums almost as coincidence-makers.

It's been almost two decades since MTV's The Hills premiered, and it's time to update fans about the show's cast. When the reality series premiered in 2006, it ushered in a golden age of unscripted reality drama. The show followed the lives of Lauren Conrad and her friends, including Whitney Port, Audrina Partridge, Heidi Montag, and more. The series tells the story of Lauren transitioning from high school to college, and showcases plenty of interpersonal drama.
After its 2006 debut, The Hills stayed on the air for six seasons, becoming a very successful reality show. The series also inspired several spin-offs, including The Hills: New Beginnings, which featured some of the original cast, such as Audrina, Heidi, and Whitney. However, none were as successful as the original series. Now, more than a decade after the Og show ended, the cast members are remembered, and it's time to share facts about their post-show lives.

With the Halloween season quickly approaching, reality TV junkies are looking for a spooky good time to chill their bones. Psychics and mediums have been occult staples for centuries, and their encounters with the other side can be creepy and uplifting in equal measure.
From talk shows like Crossing Over with John Edward to personality-based reality shows like Long Island Medium, psychics have made the jump to TV quite successfully. Though there has been an abundance of shows on TV about them, only the best psychic and medium programs are worth conjuring up.
Crossing Over With John Edward (2000-2004)
Self-proclaimed medium John Edward was all the rage in the early-2000s and his program Crossing Over broadcasted his services right into the world's living rooms. Edward makes connections with the other side that pertain to personal stories from the studio audience's lives.

Khloe Kardashian has been quite unlucky in love over the past few years.
Previously married to Lamar Odom, Khloe once again tried to find lasting love in the arms of a professional basketball player with ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson.
However, her hot and cold relationship with Tristan ended with no chance for reconciliation after it was revealed he had fathered another child while trying to have a second baby with Khloe.
The heartbreaking realization was the subject of the first episode of Season 2 of The Kardashians.
But it seems things may be looking up for the reality TV star after she was pictured in Italy with Michele Morrone.
Michele is an Italian actor, singer, and model best known for his role in the film 365 Days.

Peter Chernin has launched The North Road Company, a global content studio that will bring together Chernin Entertainment, the U.S. assets of Red Arrow Studios, which includes Love Is Blind producer Kinetic Content, and Connor Schell’s non-scripted business Words + Pictures.
The move comes as the former Fox chief paid $200M for Red Arrow’s U.S. companies including Kinetic Content, The Circus producer Left/Right, 44 Blue Productions, the company behind Netflix’s Life After Death with Tyler Henry, Say Yes To The Dress producer Half Yard and Building Alaska producer Dorsey Pictures.
The new company will have access to hundreds of millions of dollars in financing for further acquisitions from Providence Equity Partners and Apollo and will open a London office with former Red Arrow Studios Chairman and CEO Jan Frouman, who Deadline revealed joined the company earlier this year, and former AMC Networks exec Kristin Jones.
