‘Bumblebee’ Review
Stars: Hailee Steinfeld, Justin Theroux, Dylan O’Brien, Angela Bassett, Pamela Adlon, John Cena, Megyn Price, Kenneth Choi, Peter Cullen, Marcella Bragio, Gracie Dzienny, John Ortiz, Len Cariou | Written by Christina Hodson | Directed by Travis Knight

On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow Vw bug.

After five incredibly financially successful, yet critical duds, of Michael Bay Transformer films, Paramount – or Hasbro for that matter – has finally come to their senses and injected new blood into a wailing and often entertainingly fleeting franchise. Sick New ‘Bumblebee’ Footage Teases Transformers ‘Origin Story’ (Video)
Paramount Pictures took “Transformers” fans back to the ’80s with new footage for the upcoming prequel “Bumblebee,” which answered at least one question about the movie’s villains.

During Paramount’s panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2018, “Bumblebee” director Travis Knight called the “Transformers” prequel an “origin story” that will include scenes on the Transformers’ home planet of Cybertron. He also told fans the jet fighter Transformer featured in the first “Bumblebee” trailer is the Decepticon Blitzwing, not the beloved “Transformers” villain Starscream, as some had guessed.

The prequel dials back 27 years before the first of the modern “Transformers” films and focuses on Bumblebee, the yellow Autobot who’s a primary figure throughout the series. Bumblebee befriends a teenage girl named Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld) in the movie, and the pair go on the run after a government enforcer, Agent Burns (John Cena), tries to capture Bee.

Full Red Band Trailer for Boots Riley's Ingenious 'Sorry to Bother You'
"You want to make some money here? Use your 'white' voice." Annapurna has debuted a stellar red band trailer for Boots Riley's insanely original, totally crazy film Sorry to Bother You, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival to some wild hype and rave reviews. This trailer is one of the best pitches I've ever seen, with quotes perfectly worked into the footage, and just a small taste of the craziness you'll find in this ingenious film. Lakeith Stanfield stars as a kid in Oakland who lands a telemarketer job and learns he can use his "white voice" to make it all the way to the top of the sales world. The coke-obsessed CEO is played by Armie Hammer. The cast includes Danny Glover, Tessa Thompson, Patton Oswalt, Steven Yeun, Terry Crews, David Cross, Omari Hardwick, Marcella Bragio,Tom Woodruff Jr., Kate Berlant, Jermaine Fowler, Robert Longstreet, and Teresa Navarro.

Must Watch: First Trailer for Boots Riley's Crazy 'Sorry to Bother You'
"Stick to the script." Annapurna has released the first trailer for Boots Riley's insanely original, totally crazy film Sorry to Bother You, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival to some wild hype and rave reviews. If you've been waiting to find out what the heck this is about and why everyone went nuts over it, now is your chance to get a look. This trailer reveals a lot of the film, just to say, but I still love it. Lakeith Stanfield stars as a kid in Oakland who lands a telemarketer job and learns he can use his "white voice" to make it all the way to the top of the sales world. The coke-obsessed CEO is played by Armie Hammer, and everything he goes through to get there is absurdly hilarious to watch. The cast includes Danny Glover, Tessa Thompson, Patton Oswalt, Steven Yeun, Terry Crews, David Cross,...
