Dunkirk Climbs Netflix’s Global Top 10 As Christopher Nolan Gears Up For The Odyssey
Image
Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk On Ott ( Photo Credit – Netflix )

Christopher Nolan’s epic war film Dunkirk has soared back into the spotlight after eight years since its release. Now, it is dominating the streaming charts across the globe. While Nolan is busy with his upcoming project, The Odyssey, based on Homer’s classic, Dunkirk continues to hold strong and prove its staying power. The film is based on the desperate evacuation of the Allied forces who were pinned down by the German (Nazi) troops in the northern coastal city of France.

What Is Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk About?

The film, set during the 1940 Dunkirk evacuation, is based on three intersecting storylines through land, sea, and air. British soldier Tommy (Fionn Whitehead) flees German forces and joins others waiting for evacuation on the beach. He meets Gibson (Aneurin Barnard) and Alex (Harry Styles), surviving repeated Luftwaffe and U-boat attacks but repeatedly forced back to shore.

Emma Laird
Satisfaction Review: A Silent Storm Beneath Sunlit Waves
Emma Laird
In the film’s opening, the camera drifts beneath sunlit waves to reveal a steel cage tethered to the ocean floor—a silent testament to unseen suffering. Lola and Philip arrive on a remote Greek isle, two British composers whose passion for music has grown threadbare.

The dual narrative weaves between their present-day retreat—heavily scented by salt and solitude—and earlier London days alive with melody and youthful promise. Against stark white architecture and cerulean horizons, the scenery radiates warmth even as the protagonists’ bond cools.

The pacing moves with deliberate restraint, inviting us to dwell in each long take until discomfort becomes its own lyric. We ask: what buried sorrow robs Lola of her voice, both musical and human, and leaves Philip stranded in her silence?

Echoes of Past and Present

Burunova structures the tale as a conversation across time. In London’s glowing lamplight, Lola’s fingers danced across piano keys; here,...

Black Mirror Has An Addictive Companion Video Game You Likely Never Knew Existed
Image
Charlie Brooker's "Black Mirror" has been darkly interrogating our relationship with media and technology since 2011, and since we're more into our screens than ever, it stands to reason that this show, which is essentially "The Twilight Zone" for our times, is more disturbingly relevant than ever.

A veteran gamer who got his start as a reviewer for the magazine PC Zone, Brooker takes the video game medium seriously. He's far from a scold as far as gaming is concerned, but he does have piercing insight into the ways in which people can become unhealthily obsessed with these virtual environments. We can grow irritated when a game throws a particularly difficult mission or seemingly unbeatable boss level in front of us, yet we get so attached to avatars or characters that it feels like a death in the family when/if they expire.

It's possible that no film or television...

Real Reason Why Black Mirror: Bandersnatch Is Leaving Netflix: Revealed
Image
In the ever-evolving world of streaming media, every day we witness numerous projects being taken off platforms, fading away into an entertainment black hole. But what happens when some of the biggest and grandest of titles are subjected to the same fate? Shock, uproar, and a slew of criticism.

Well, Netflix is recently facing similar criticism given its decision to remove two of its famous Og titles: Black Mirror: Bandersnatch and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs. The Reverend on May 12. The decision comes as a shock, especially since the former is one of its most ambitious projects to date, connected with one of its most famous seven-season-long Og series, Black Mirror.

An interactive film, part of the Black Mirror anthology, Bandersnatch allowed viewers to shape the narrative through their choices, offering a groundbreaking blend of television and video game-like interactivity. While in recent times the streaming giant has removed several projects from the platform,...

You Can No Longer Watch the Creepiest Black Mirror Story After Netflix’s Concerning Update
Image
Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, one of Netflix’s most popular interactive specials, is no longer available for fans to enjoy. It was one of the last two Interactive Specials (with Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs. the Reverend) globally taken down from the platform on 12th May.

Although Black Mirror: Bandersnatch was not the first Netflix Interactive Special, it was a significant addition to the genre for the Ott giant. Providing different outcomes to different viewers as per their choices in the episode, it was an interestingly creepy experience. But it is all gone now as Netflix thinks that the technology is limiting them from focusing on new areas.

What caused Black Mirror: Bandersnatch to be taken down? A still from Black Mirror: Bandersnatch | Credits: Netflix

Netflix first entered the field of Interactive Stories in 2017 with Puss in Book, and went on to make a total of 24 Interactive Specials for its platform.

Netflix Pulling Its Last Two Interactive Specials – ‘Black Mirror: Bandersnatch’ & ‘Kimmy Schmidt’
Image
Netflix’s final two interactive specials are about to disappear from the platform. Notices have appeared on the What’s on Netflix site for Black Mirror: Bandersnatch and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs. the Reverend, confirming both will leave the service on May 12.

Their exit marks the end of the platform’s era of interactive specials as it shifts its focus to mobile and cloud gaming, according to the publication.

Netflix did not respond to a request for comment.

Interactive content has been slowly disappearing from the platform, since its launch with the 2017 Puss in Book. Only four interactive specials remained in late 2024, with Ranveer vs Wild with Bear Grylls and You vs. Wild removed in January of this year.

Released in December 2018, Black Mirror: Bandersnatch was written by series creator Charlie Brooker and directed by David Slade. Starring Fionn Whitehead, Will Poulter and Craig Parkinson, the interactive choose-your-own-adventure tale...

Why the groundbreaking ‘Black Mirror: Bandersnatch’ is disappearing from Netflix
Image
It's the end of the road for choose-your-own-adventure programming at Netflix, and there's no rewinding to pick another path.

On May 12, the streamer will remove Black Mirror: Bandersnatch (2018) and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs. the Reverend (2020). Both of these interactive TV specials empowered viewers to choose different paths to essentially create their own narrative.

In November 2024, a Netflix rep told The Verge that it was removing all of its choose-your-own-adventure projects, which at that time numbered 24 unique titles. As of Friday, only Bandersnatch and Kimmy vs. the Reverend remain on the company's "interactive specials" page, but not for long.

"The technology served its purpose, but is now limiting as we focus on technological efforts in other areas," Netflix spokesperson Chrissy Kelleher said last year.

Netflix is about to remove one of the most twisted Black Mirror episodes ever
Image
Say it ain't so! We had a feeling that the day would eventually come, but we were hoping it never would. Netflix is reportedly set to pull one of Black Mirror’s darkest and most unforgettable episodes from its library, and we're left reeling from the news.

Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, the groundbreaking interactive film that allowed viewers to choose their own path through a dark and twisted narrative, is about to disappear from the streaming platform, and with it, one of the most unique viewing experiences ever created. According to Variety, the beloved interactive special will depart the streamer on Monday, May 12, 2025. The only other remaining interactive special on the platform, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs the Reverend, will be leaving on this date as well.

May 12 is right around the corner, so if you haven’t experienced Black Mirror: Bandersnatch or revisited its many twists and turns, now is the time.

Black Mirror: Bandersnatch is being removed from the Netflix streaming service
Image
The Netflix streaming service has been working to scrub interactive titles from their library – and as of right now, only two remain: Black Mirror: Bandersnatch and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs the Reverend. If you haven’t taken the opportunity to “choose your own adventure” through those titles yet, you should get to it, because they’re not safe from Netflix’s plan to remove interactive titles. They’ll be leaving the streaming service as of next Monday, May 12th. News of the removals was first reported by What’s on Netflix.

Black Mirror: Bandersnatch is tied in with the anthology series Black Mirror, created and written by Charlie Brooker, a show that just recently released its seventh season. Variety reminds us that Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, starring Fionn Whitehead and Will Poulter, is “a choose-your-own-adventure-style movie that includes 312 minutes of material (just over five hours). It’s set in 1984, when...

‘Black Mirror: Bandersnatch’ Interactive Movie to Be Removed from Netflix
Image
Netflix is pulling the plug on Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, the choose-your-own-adventure-style interactive movie that debuted in 2018.

It will be removed from the streamer on May 12 along with the only other remaining interactive title on the service, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs the Reverend.

The outright removal comes as a surprise considering “Black Mirror” is one of Netflix’s flagship shows and the Season 7 episode “Plaything” — which just premiered last month — is a direct follow-up to Bandersnatch.

Netflix planned to double down on interactive content following the success of Bandersnatch, but a rep told The Verge last fall that the technology “served its purpose but is now limiting as we focus on technological efforts in other areas.”

Perhaps we could see the film edited into a straight narrative in the future, but this is yet another reminder of the fickle nature of streaming.

Described by Netflix as “a mind-bending tale with multiple endings,...

‘Black Mirror: Bandersnatch’ Pulled by Netflix
Image
Update, May 12, 6:01 a.m. Pt: Netflix has removed “Black Mirror: Bandersnatch” and “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs the Reverend“ from the streaming service.

Earlier:

“Black Mirror: Bandersnatch,” Netflix’s groundbreaking interactive movie, is fading to black.

The streamer will remove “Bandersnatch,” released in December 2018, as well as the interactive special “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs The Reverend” on May 12, 2025. Those were the last two interactive titles available on the service, seemingly marking the end of Netflix’s efforts to make the format a thing, although at the same time it’s ramping up its games portfolio.

The removals were previously spotted by What’s on Netflix. Variety has reached out to Netflix for comment.

Netflix’s pulling its original interactive titles comes as it leans more into gaming. Its newly redesigned TV homepage, for example, features games you can play on connected televisions, including “Too Hot to Handle 3” and...

Black Mirror: Bandersnatch Is Leaving Netflix—But What About Season 7 Sequel Episode? Here’s How It Can Live On

What Can Netflix Do With Black Mirror: Bandersnatch Instead Of Removal? (Photo Credit – Instagram)

Streaming giant Netflix will soon remove its immensely popular interactive film Black Mirror: Bandersnatch from its Interactive Specials page, according to an earlier report by What’s On Netflix. The title will no longer be available on Netflix from May 12, 2025.

Earlier this year, two more interactive specials, namely Ranveer vs Wild with Bear Grylls and You vs. Wild, were also removed. The removals are happening because Netflix wants to focus more on the mobile and cloud gaming segments. So, if you haven’t already watched/played Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, now’s the time to do that.

What Is Black Mirror: Bandersnatch All About?

Set in 1984, the interactive sci-fi film revolves around a young programmer, Stefan Butler (played by Fionn Whitehead), who attempts to adapt a choose-your-own-adventure-style fantasy novel into a revolutionary video game. While developing the game,...

Quentin Tarantino at an event for The Oscars (2013)

Quentin Tarantino at an event for The Oscars (2013)
If you’re on the hunt for a quality movie night recommendation but can’t make up your mind, I’ve got just what you need. I recently stumbled upon a past podcast appearance where decorated director Quentin Tarantino revealed his second favorite film of the 2010s. Better yet, the picture in question is now streaming on Prime Video.

Tarantino appeared on the Rewatchables Podcast in 2020 to discuss a feature he just can’t stop rewatching. I’m talking about Christopher Nolan’s war thriller Dunkirk.

In conversation with the hosts, Tarantino acknowledged that it took him several viewings to appreciate the film fully. He said of his inaugural experience, “I was awed by it.” The Pulp Fiction director explained that it took several times to really see past the spectacle of the flick and appreciate the phenomenal filmmaking on display within.

Tarantino continued, saying: “Oftentimes, you see a film...

Netflix Is Removing Black Mirror's Boldest And Most Experimental Episode
Image
Back in 2018, writer Charlie Brooker and director David Slade created a "Black Mirror" spinoff movie called "Bandersnatch," which was to be a bold media experiment. The plot of "Bandersnatch" followed a young computer programmer named Stefan (Fionn Whitehead) on his quest to adapt one of his favorite Choose-Your-Own-Adventure novels (also called "Bandersnatch") into an open-ended video game. It's 1984, and such games are still considered a novelty. He teams up with Colin (Will Poulter), a game designer, and the two begin butting heads over creative control and how corporate the game should be. There are subplots about Stefan's dead mother, and clues to the world ahead based on what he says in therapy.

The gimmick of "Bandersnatch" is that the film itself is a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure story. The film was streamed on Netflix, and viewers were encouraged to keep their remote controls ready, having to make story decisions for Stefan as they periodically appeared on the screen.

Quentin Tarantino Once Revealed Why He Was Awestruck By Visionary Director Christopher Nolan
Image
When you think of modern cinema, two names that come to mind almost immediately are Quentin Tarantino and Christopher Nolan. These two directors shook up the film industry with their distinct styles. Tarantino is known for his sharp dialogue, gritty characters, and scenes that make you squirm in the best way possible.

Nolan, on the other hand, is famous for his mind-bending concepts and visually stunning films. Despite their differences, one thing is clear—they both have a deep love for cinema. And it turns out that Tarantino has some serious respect for Nolan and his work.

Christopher Nolan

Over the years, Tarantino has spoken highly of Nolan, praising his distinctive style and creative vision. In return, Nolan has also expressed admiration for Tarantino’s work. So, what exactly has Tarantino said about Nolan? Let’s explore their shared love for each other’s films!

Every Christopher Nolan Movie, Ranked by How Confusing They Are
Image
Watching a Christopher Nolan movie isn’t just a night at the movies, it’s a full-blown mental obstacle course. One minute you’re vibing with epic visuals, and the next you’re questioning the flow of time, the laws of physics, and maybe even your own reality. Did that just happen? Are we dreaming? Do we need to watch it again with subtitles and a notebook?

Nolan’s signature style is cerebral, cool, and confusing in the best (and sometimes most frustrating) ways. Some of his films ease you in with sleek storytelling, while others feel like you need a physics degree and three flowcharts just to keep up. And because we’re all still trying to figure out what the heck a “temporal pincer movement” really is, it’s only fair we rank every Nolan movie by how much they’ve made our brains hurt.

So if you...

All 34 ‘Black Mirror’ episodes ranked, including ‘USS Callister: Into Infinity’ and ‘Eulogy’
Image
Every new season of Black Mirror launches a feverish debate over which episode was the best. Emmy voters gave three consecutive Best TV Movie awards to "San Junipero" (2017), "USS Callister" (2018), and "Bandersnatch" (2019), but how does the entire fandom rate the best and worst installments? We've consulted the cumulative IMDb scores for all seasons and have come up with the definitive ranking of Black Mirror episodes. Can you guess the No. 1 choice?

Season 7 was released in April 2025 and brought the total number of episodes and specials to 34. Created by Charlie Brooker, the sci-fi anthology series began on the U.K.'s Channel 4 in 2011 before moving to Netflix (and becoming a worldwide phenomenon) in 2016. The show took a four-year break after Season 5, thanks in part to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic, but that just gave people even more time to relive their favorite episodes from the beginning.

One Of Black Mirror's Most Popular Episodes Could Get A Proper Sequel
Image
The seventh season of "Black Mirror" just dropped on Netflix on April 10, and it included something new for Charlie Brooker's anthology TV series: a true sequel to a previous installment. 2017's "USS Callister" was enormously popular when it premiered in season 4, so it makes sense that in season 7, we got "USS Callister: Into Infinity," a feature-length episode following up on that story. According to an interview with Entertainment Weekly, though, Brooker actually planned for another "Black Mirror" story to get a sequel first.

"I did work out the storyline for a completely different sequel for 'Bandersnatch,' which was going to be called 'Banderstruck,' but I never got to do it," Brooker revealed, specifying that he would have written a sequel to the show's innovative interactive special that came out in 2018. In that special, we, for lack of a better term, "control" main character Stefan Butler (Fionn Whitehead...

'I Never Got to Do It': Black Mirror Creator on How Another Fan Favorite Story Almost Had a Sequel Episode
Image
Black Mirror took the choose-your-own-adventure concept to a whole new level with 2018's Bandersnatch, the show's first interactive installment. Series creator Charlie Brooker confirmed the film isn't a one-off; there's already a sequel story in development.

Black Mirror creator Charlie Brooker might revive his (unmade) Bandersnatch follow-up, now that the show has broken new ground with the "USS Callister" sequel. "I did work out the storyline for a completely different sequel for Bandersnatch, which was going to be called Banderstruck, but I never got to do it," he told Entertainment Weekly. He also hinted that the story is similar to the original, but not set in the 80s. "I might still revisit that well in some way, but it was about a slightly different era."

That seemed the premise of Season 7's "Plaything," which featured crossover characters from Bandersnatch; Will Poulter and Asim Chaudhry reprised their characters in the episode,...

Black Mirror Creator Charlie Brooker Talks About Unmade Bandersnatch Sequel “Banderstruck” He Still Wants to Do
Image
Charlie Brooker, the creator of Black Mirror, has shared that he once planned a sequel to the interactive movie Bandersnatch. The project was called Banderstruck, but it was never made — at least not yet.

In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, Brooker revealed, “I did work out the storyline for a completely different sequel for Bandersnatch, which was going to be called Banderstruck, but I never got to do it.”

Brooker didn’t share what the story was about, but he hinted that it would have taken place in a different time period. When asked if he could reveal what Banderstruck would’ve explored, he simply smiled and said, “No. Because I might still revisit that well in some way, but it was about a slightly different era.”

Bandersnatch came out in 2018 and was a choose-your-own-adventure-style movie on Netflix. It let viewers make choices for the main character, Stefan Butler,...

Black Mirror Season 7's Plaything Gives Bandersnatch Only Half A Sequel
Image
This post contains spoilers for "Black Mirror" season 7.

When news broke that Netflix's long-running dystopia series "Black Mirror" would be revisiting the world of "Bandersnatch," speculation was rampant. Would the follow-up episode take on the same choose-your-own-adventure format as the groundbreaking interactive film did seven years ago? Would it choose one of that story's multiple endings as the "true" ending and continue on from that point, or would it embrace the butterfly effect and its many branched paths? The truth, it turns out, is a lot more mundane.

The episode in question, "Plaything," opens by speedrunning a police encounter much as a typical crime procedural would. Viewers see Cameron Walker (former "Doctor Who" star Peter Capaldi) — an erratic older man with long, gray hair and a meek attitude — get picked up for shoplifting a bottle of wine in a convenience store. Cops use some handy dandy future tech to...

‘Black Mirror’ Season 7 Review: Excellent Cast and Dazzling Sequels Fuel Rich New Batch of Episodes
Image
“You’re so pretty when you’re alive.”

In an era of appointment television where series like “The White Lotus” and “Reacher” seem to occupy space to the tune of millions of viewers each week, Netflix is sticking with its bingeable model with the drop of another must-see title. “Black Mirror,” the British television series famous for its convoluted anthology episode premises akin to the modern version of “The Twilight Zone,” returns for Season 7 with a new concept that feels familiar. An A-list cast in almost every episode, the series presents sequels to a couple of its highest-rated plots to date.

The result works wonders with a talented cast and storylines that continue to impress, while leaving room for other installments to entertain with original commentary on humanity’s reliance on evolving technology — often to heartwrenching resolutions.

‘Satisfaction’ Review: Emma Laird Leads Writer-Director Alex Burunova’s Hauntingly Beautiful Portrait Of Trauma — SXSW
Image
Although Satisfaction isn’t always an easy film to watch, it remains steeped in uncomfortable beauty even at its darkest moments.

In writer-director Alex Burunova’s feature debut, Emma Laird and Fionn Whitehead star as couple Lola and Philip, two British composers struggling to get through a block in both their creative and romantic lives while vacationing on the Greek Isles. Meanwhile, memories of the beginning of their relationship and the introduction of beautiful tourist Elena (Zar Amir Ebrahimi) snaps Lola out of her haze.

Laird gives a stunning performance as Lola, a once-thriving musician who can’t make music anymore, blocked by an unspoken trauma. The actress alternates seamlessly between two timelines; one as a young queer artist high on life and obsessed with the idea of “synthesizing love” so she can take it every day, another as an emotionally exhausted woman struggling to connect with her partner, and more importantly,...

Netflix drops Black Mirror season 7 release date and trailer!
Image
Things in the real world are getting pretty scary, huh? It's time for Charlie Brooker to give us his interpretation of it all, we think. If you, like us, have missed your favorite dose of humbling political black comedy, there's no need to worry. Black Mirror season 7 premieres soon!

Netflix revealed that the show will be back Thursday, April 10, 2025 with quite a number of familiar faces. The full trailer dropped, and fans are pretty excited. Especially because of the chance to get a glimpse of most of the huge list of cast in their respective roles. There are confirmed to be six episodes, each with a different blend of genres.

As ever with Black Mirror, Brooker tells Tudum that the episodes are a mixture of lengths and tones. Viewers can always expect to be scared for their lives in one episode, while crying their eyes out the following episode. Check...

“Telling the Story Non-Linearly Felt Essential Because That’s How Trauma Often Works”: Alex Burunova On Her SXSW-Premiering Relationship Drama, Satisfaction
Image
Emma Laird is both incandescent and haunted as she limns the before and after of trauma in Alex Burunova’s SXSW-premiering debut feature, Satisfaction. As Lola, a composer and pianist, Laird is charismatic and full of life in the past and painfully muted in the present, a contrast that engineers the film’s central narrative mystery. Through memory-triggered flashbacks and forwards, Satisfaction orbits around a moment of trauma, the film’s editing rhythms and narrative structure mirroring the emotional evasiveness and repression that Lola must deploy during a Greek island vacation with her musician boyfriend, Philip (Fionn Whitehead). But repression as self-preservation can only […]

Rediscovering her voice by Paul Risker
Alex Burunova
Satisfaction

Director Alex Burunova's psychological thriller, Satisfaction, divides its time between present-day Greece, where composer Philip (Fionn Whitehead) is working on a new album, and London two years prior, where his romance with Lola (Emma Laird), also a composer, first blossomed. Unlike Philip, Lola's musical voice has faded and there's a noticeable rift in their relationship. When Lola encounters Elena (Zar Amir) on a nudist beach, she's immediately drawn to her magnetic spirit. This encounter will not only stoke Philip's insecurity, but will push Lola into a transformative confrontation with herself.

With a background in painting and theatre, Burunova's film credits include the 2019 Netflix original documentary Enter The Anime, which follows the director's own introduction to the form.

In conversation with Eye For Film, Burunova discussed the sensitive subject of trauma, challenging preconceptions and the immersive preparation behind Satisfaction's improvisation.

Paul Risker: What compelled you to want to take.

'Satisfaction' Review: Emma Laird Will Break Your Heart
Image
Pain is constructive. It's often a 'positive' sign, and how the body tells you that something is wrong; people with congenital analgesia, who don't feel pain, die young. When a bone is broken, puncturing the flesh in a fracture, it must be reset. It's a torturous, godawful pain, but that's the only way it will heal, and healing tends to be the goal. That's impossible when you can't locate and name the source of the pain, and that mystery is at the heart of Satisfaction, a stunning new film from filmmaker Alex Burunova that just premiered at the 2025 South by Southwest Film Festival.

Satisfaction is a seemingly simple story of two musicians — Lola (Emma Laird) and Philip (Fionn Whitehead) — who have isolated themselves on the gorgeous island of Antiparos to complete an album for Sony. It balances the present, in which the pair are seemingly at odds, and the past,...

WWII Historian Rates 'Dunkirk' & 'Saving Private Ryan' for Historical Accuracy
Image
World War II is one of the most popular subjects for war movies. Spanning six years, from 1939 to 1945, the time period is rife with incredibly powerful, moving, and brutal stories for filmmakers to bring to life on screen. But in transcribing real events for the silver screen, a lot of historical accuracy is lost in translation.

Sitting down with Penguin Books UK, WW2 Historian James Holland broke down some of the most popular Second World War movies of all-time. Saving Private Ryan is the only true place to start, as its depiction of D-Day is often regarded as one of the most realistic ever. But, Holland was quick to point out its flaws. "As a historian you're absolutely delighted that people are making movies about the Second World War, about your subject matter. But, it's also just absolutely riddled with inaccuracies," he said. Watching the scene where the American soldiers land on Normandy Beach,...

Fionn Whitehead in Black Mirror: Bandersnatch (2018)
Netflix is removing almost all of its interactive titles
Fionn Whitehead in Black Mirror: Bandersnatch (2018)
Black Mirror: Bandersnatch will soon be one of the only interactive titles on Netflix as the streamer pulls them from the platform.

There was a time when it seemed like interactive titles would be the future of streaming. Black Mirror tapped into the trend with their interactive title Bandersnatch which allowed the viewer – Player? Controller? – to destroy poor Stefan’s (Fionn Whitehead) life in multiple different ways.

The trend never really took off though and Netflix is now doing a bit of winter cleaning on their servers. The streamer is removing most of its interactive titles as reported by The Verge this December. Of the 24 interactive titles Netflix has on the platform, only four will remain after 1st December. Those four are Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs. the Reverend, Ranveer vs. Wild with Bear Grylls, and You vs. Wild.

“The technology served its purpose, but is now...

Peaky Blinders' "Epic" Movie Can Build On The Potential Of Christopher Nolan's $530M Movie
Image
It was recently announced that a popular Irish actor would be joining the cast of the Peaky Blinders movie, which means one collaboration from 2017 can finally make its comeback. Peaky Blinders originally ran as a television series from 2013 to 2022. The series followed Cillian Murphy as Thomas Shelby, the leader of a Birmingham mob in the early 1900s called the Peaky Blinders. Now, the popular series is getting its seventh season via a Peaky Blinders movie directed by showrunner, Steven Knight. While the movie was already an exciting endeavor, this recent casting makes it even greater.

Cillian Murphy will be reprising his role as Tommy Shelby, but alongside him will be Peaky Blinders newcomer, Barry Keoghan. Keoghan has risen to fame in recent years after appearing in projects such as The Killing of the Sacred Deer, Eternals, The Banshees of Inisherin, and Saltburn. Like Murphy, Keoghan has become one of the...
