S. Ramesan Nair was born on 3 May 1948 in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu, India. He is known for My Dear Machans, The Gang (2000) and Pathamudayam (1985). He was married to P. Rema. He died on 18 June 2021 in Kochi, Kerala, India.
