The Real Housewives of Dallas was the ninth edition of the popular Real Housewives franchise. It is one of only two America-based installments that are not airing anymore, the other being DC. Orange County, New York City, Atlanta, New Jersey, Beverly Hills, Miami and Potomac are still running.

The Dallas installment premiered in April 2016 and revolves around women from Dallas, Texas. The edition’s fifth and final season wrapped up in 2021. Bravo doesn’t have any plans to revive the unique edition till now. Here’s a guide and timeline to all five seasons of The Real Housewives of Dallas.

The woman who allegedly hooked up with Brandi Redmond's husband, Bryan, from Real Housewives of Dallas spoke out. In March 2021, a video began swirling online of Bryan dancing close to another woman at a club and seemingly going in to kiss her. Brandi addressed the footage during the Rhod reunion in May 2021, claiming it was filmed in 2018. Brandi said the incident occurred during her brother-in-law's joint bachelor/bachelorette party. When asked if she planned on ending their marriage, Brandi clarified that she wanted to stand by her husband and keep her family together after their time on the hit reality TV show.

Tiffany Hendra was a full-time cast member on The Real Housewives of Dallas season 1, and she's changed lanes since leaving the show. After her one season, she appeared as a guest in the second and fourth seasons as LeeAnne Locken's friend. During her only season as a main cast member, Tiffany was close to LeeAnne, in fact, she's been one of LeeAnne's best friends for over 20 years. Even though she was one of the more memorable housewives of the franchise, Bravo didn't offer her the chance to come back as a main cast member.

Rick Leventhal, the former Fox News correspondent and husband of former The Real Housewives of Orange County star Kelly Dodd, was involved in a car accident. The journalist shared a video from the hospital where he provided an update to his fans.

“So lucky to be alive & grateful for the well wishes & care I’m getting. 4 broken ribs, fractured bone right foot, wounded pride. So far that’s it,” he captioned the Instagram post.

Leventhal detailed that he was traveling on the I-10, just outside of Palm Desert, California during rainy conditions, when he “hit, what felt like a patch of ice.”

He continued, “Rode was slick. Lost control and slammed into the wall hard. Started spinning around across lanes of traffic and slammed right into the back of a tractor-trailer… My window busted, both airbags deployed, I think I might’ve broken my ribs from the airbags.”

LeeAnne Locken did not return for The Real Housewives of Dallas season 5 after having a tough time appearing on the show. In 2020, LeeAnne Locken was called out by her co-stars and Rhod fans for making racially insensitive comments towards Kary Brittingham while on their trip to Thailand. She went off on Kary when she and Kameron Westcott left the other women who were watching a ping pong show, which normally takes place in a gentlemen's club.

After calling Kary a few insensitive comments, LeeAnne was ultimately fired from Rhod. She announced her departure from the show in February 2020. Even though LeeAnne was a Rhod staple, it was her time to go. However, now everyone wants to know what the former Dallas housewife is up to since exiting the show.

There are no plans for The Real Housewives of Dallas to return to Bravo in 2022, leaving the futures of Season 5 stars Dr. Tiffany Moon, Kary Brittingham, Stephanie Hollman, Brandi Redmond, D’Andra Simmons and Kameron Westcott hanging in the balance.

“There are currently no plans to bring The Real Housewives of Dallas back next year, and beyond that, nothing official has been decided,” Bravo told Deadline in a statement Tuesday.

It’s unknown why the reality series is being put on hold, though Season 5 proved to be controversial after an old video of Redmond was unearthed where she mocked Asian Americans. Moon, who was born outside Beijing, was one of the many Aapi actors who called Redmond out. Redmond later apologized.

Moon was also subjected to social media bullying from the family of co-star Westcott, accusing her of being racist. Bravo stood by Mood amid the melee.

Still,...

The Real Housewives of Dallas are being put out to pasture by Bravo.

The cabler on Tuesday confirmed there are no plans to bring the series back in 2022.

“There are currently no plans to bring ‘The Real Housewives of Dallas’ back next year, and beyond that nothing official has been decided,” a spokesperson explained to Page Six.

While the series is not set to return at Bravo, it could return in another medium, possibly on streaming, like The Real Housewives of Miami, which has been announced as returning several years after its Bravo cancellation.

The fifth season starred Kary Brittingham, Stephanie Hollman, Brandi Redmond, D'Andra Simmons, Kameron Westcott, and Dr. Tiffany Moon, who was a new addition to the cast.

The series launched back in 2016, starring Hollman and Redmond, as well as Cary Deuber, Tiffany Hendra, and LeeAnn Locken.

“The Real Housewives of Dallas” will not film this year, and a new season of the show will not air on Bravo in 2022, the network has confirmed to Variety.

“There are currently no plans to bring ‘The Real Housewives of Dallas’ back next year, and beyond that nothing official has been decided,” a spokesperson at Bravo said Tuesday.

Though Bravo currently has no plans to go back into production on the show, “The Real Housewives of Dallas” has not been officially canceled, because Bravo rarely does that: In the “Real Housewives” universe, only the one-season “Real Housewives of D.C.” was officially canceled. Even “The Real Housewives of Miami,” which ended in 2013 after three seasons, is now being revived eight years later for Peacock, the NBC Universal streaming service.

But the low-rated “Real Housewives of Dallas” had a fraught, sour fifth season, which prompted Bravo to put it aside for now.

Dr. Tiffany Moon, a new addition to Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Dallas” in its recently completed fifth season, had to deal with a lot of difficult things on camera, especially as a working doctor during the Covid-19 pandemic and as an Asian American woman during this year of hate crimes and violence toward the Aapi community.

But this week, Moon faced something unprecedented: She was subjected to racist bullying online by the family of one of her fellow cast members, Kameron Westcott. In tweets, Kameron Westcott’s husband, Court, and her brother-in-law, Chart, attacked Moon on Twitter. Court Westcott, who has since deactivated his Twitter account, decried the concept of “anti-racism,” called it racism, and compared the philosophy to World War II Germany. “I don’t understand how many of your patients would be comfortable with you treating them with your open vile racism,” he wrote in a since deleted tweet.

Brandi Redmond and LeeAnne Locken‘s unlikely friendship fell apart on Monday’s Real Housewives of Dallas season 2 finale, when Redmond accused Locken of manipulating her and trying to come between her and friends Stephanie Hollman and Cary Deuber.

“You said that you wanted nothing more than for them to be friends with me and for us to make up, when the truth be told, you told me that you did not want that for me,” Redmond snapped at Locken during a cast brunch in celebration of Locken’s engagement.

“You said that they were not my friends,” Redmond added.

“Nannygate” came to a head on Monday’s Real Housewives of Dallas, as Cary Deuber sat down with Brandi Redmond for a tense one-on-one chat.

As Rhod fans will remember, last week, Redmond claimed that the 41-year-old registered nurse’s relationship to plastic surgeon and now-husband Mark Deuber began as a workplace affair while he was married to another woman and she was both his surgical assistant and the nanny to his children.

The Real Housewives of Dallas star underwent a breast augmentation revision last year -- on camera -- and claims she contracted a flesh-eating bacteria during the healing process.

“I’m still not fully recovered,” she tells Et, more than a year after the surgery. “It took three months to actually stop the disease from eating my skin, for the necrosis to stop … It took probably seven months before some of my organs even began to function normally.”
