The Strays cast features some huge movie stars and popular comedians playing its computer-generated canine characters. Strays revolves around a bright-eyed, bushy-tailed Border Terrier named Reggie who teams up with three other dogs – a Boston Terrier called Bug, an Australian Shepherd called Maggie, and a therapy Great Dane called Hunter – to exact revenge on his abusive former owner, Doug, when he’s left on the streets. From producers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, best known for helming the Jump Street films and The Lego Movie franchise, Strays is an R-rated, adult-oriented take on movies with CG talking animals like Stuart Little or Alvin and the Chipmunks.

Lord and Miller assembled a star-studded cast of voice actors to bring the wacky eponymous dogs in Strays to life. The voices of the titular abandoned pets in Strays are all recognizable from their previous film and TV projects, both in animated voice roles and on-camera live-action roles.
