A classic face, capable of engaging the eye and transforming itself over a wide range of visages - the roguish grin, the plaintiff gaze, the red-faced mask of vengeance; whether he's playing Gerard Lumley from the on-screen adaptation of Stephen King's short story "One for the Road" or reenacting a historical figure (Charles Willson Peale) on the popular Emmy award-winning series, Philadelphia: The Great Experiment with revolutionary flair, Eric Slodysko does not shy away from the challenge of truth.

Eric began his actor training under the tough yet gentle hand of his mentor, Kenneth John McGregor. Whether exploring the intricacies of scene study, braving the hypothermic shocks of cold reads, or challenging the formidable shadows of his past, Eric has learned that acting isn't a destination but the infinitude of possibilities in the service of human truth, as so clearly demonstrated as the unhinged Thomas Riley in the independent feature Catastasis (now Crisis Call).

Eric is always on the move and dedicates most of his time toward learning and building skills, whether collaborating with fashion designers, assisting with film and stage productions, writing his own screenplays, volunteering for non-profits, or networking at events just to hear the war stories. When he's not working, he's usually curled up on a recliner, reading a good book.
