B Octavious Sims

B. Octavious Sims is an American actor, screenwriter, producer, director, author and co owner of SimGriggs Productions. B. Octavious, whose birth name is Benjamin has always wanted to be apart of the entertainment industry even as a child. He grew up in the small town of Valley, Alabama and is a graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. Sims teamed up with Gregory Griggs in 2011 and the duo formed SimGriggs Productions. They started out writing, producing, casting and starring in their own stage plays. After several sell out venues throughout the state of Alabama and Georgia the duo decided to start doing films. They started out doing short films and series and reality TV. They now do feature films and Sims is also the author of Poor Black & Pitiful. This book caught the eye of the assistant of Bishop TD Jakes and was thought to possibly become a film for them. Due to the name of the book had to be changed and so much of the story line until Sims decided he would just write a Christian based film for them titled Blind Faith. No word yet on whether or not this will be something that Jakes team chose to go forward with. SimGriggs and their team are working on two feature film projects and one TV show and a reality talk show series.
