Prime Video ha anunciado que el rodaje de la secuela de la película Apocalipsis Z: El principio del fin, estrenada en 2024, ha comenzado en localizaciones de Cataluña y las Islas Canarias.

Apocalipsis Z: Parte II (título provisional) nos sitúa en unas Islas Canarias convertidas en el último bastión seguro de Europa tras el avance devastador del virus Tsj. Desde allí parte una misión suicida hacia la península en busca de suministros esenciales. Roberto (Alcaide) se une al equipo con dudosas intenciones. Prime Video is reviving classic Spanish talent gala format Operación Triunfo and has unveiled its latest slate of scripted shows, films and doc series from the nation along with a local version of Takeshi’s Castle.

The 12th season Operación Triunfo, which is filmed in front of a live audience, will stream on the SVoD in Spain and Latin America later this year.

A major ratings hit and cultural phenomenon, the first 11 seasons aired on Spanish public broadcaster Rtve and ran between 2001 and 2020.

DirecTV Nabs Latin American Pay TV Rights To Mediaset España’s Hit ‘El Accidente’
Santiago De Compostela, Spain — DirecTV has nabbed Latin American pay TV rights to Mediaset España’s hit Spanish primetime drama “El Accidente,” sold by Stockholm-based house Eccho Rights.

The Spanish adaptation of Ay Yapim’s Turkish TV series “The End,” “El Accidente” was executive produced for Mediapro-Globomedia by Good Mood’s Daniel Ecija.

The series tells the story of a woman investigating her husband’s double life after a terrible accident sheds light on his secrets and lies. It stars some of Spain’s most highly-regarded acting talent, including Inma Cuesta (“The Bride”), Quim Gutiérrez (“Dark Blue Almost Black”) and Berta Vázquez (“Locked Up”).

At&T-owned DirecTV, with more than eight million subscribers, will launch “El Accidente” across Latin America later this year, via its OnDirecTV channel.
