Anna Jones is a filmmaker originally from London who divides her time between London and LA. Anna is a BAFTA LA Newcomer.
Anna began directing opera and theatre while a student at Cambridge University before studying directing at the Yale School of Drama. Anna worked in theatre for over a decade in New York and London, founding two theatre companies, Bone Orchard and NYLon Projects.
Her recent web series, My America, co-written with actor/writer Jamel Davall, which Anna directed alongside TV veteran Asaad Kelada, has won awards at festivals worldwide, and was an Official Selection for the LA Film Festival and Hollyshorts. It was described as "the series everyone should watch before the election" by Thought Catalog and "the web series everyone needs right now" by Canvass Mag. It was produced by NYLon in association with Picrow.
Anna has directed shorts for Middle G Productions, Steam Media, Brooklyn Seoul, Inanna Films and Riley Productions.
