Sean Burke(XXIV)

Retired American professional wrestler who competed under both his own name and as Flex Rumblecrunch. Debuted in 2010 for the Rhode Island-based Power League Wrestling and wrestled for NWA Liberty States, Chaotic Wrestling, New England Championship Wrestling and the United Wrestling Coalition. Became Flex Rumblecrunch in 2013 as the third man for the Devastation Corporation with Max Smashmaster (Sebastian Reese) and Blaster McMassive (Thomas Stintsman) in their victory over Knight Eye for the Pirate Guy (Lance Steel and Jolly Roger (Christopher McGuckin) and Shane Storm at the May 25, 2013 Wrestling Is Fun! event "WIF! An Apeeling Dawn." Debuted in CHIKARA at "CHIKARA Aniversario: Never Compromise" on June 2, 2013 in the Corporation's loss to the Colony (Fire Ant, Green Ant and assailANT (Nelson Ortiz), which was the night of the shutdown. Alternated between the Burke and Rumblecrunch names for the next year, using Rumblecrunch in the various Wrestling Is... promotions and his own in other New England promotions. The Wrecking Crew (The Devastation Corporation, Jaka (Jonny Mangue), Oleg the Usurper (Josh Thorman) and manager Sidney Bakabella (Joey Eastman)) tore down Wrestling Is Respect on January 19, 2014, as part of the Flood's campaign to destroy all the Wrestling Is... promotions. The Devastation Corporation (Max/Blaster/Flex) defeated the Golden Trio (Icarus (Ronald Grams) and the Throwbacks (Dasher Hatfield and "Mr. Touchdown" Mark Angelosetti)) in the finals of "CHIKARA King of Trios 2014." After the Flood collapsed following the 2014 Season Finale iPPV "CHIKARA Tomorrow Never Dies" on December 6, the Wrecking Crew remained a team. They entered the 2015 season-long Challenge of the Immortals tournament, though with Oleg having been drafted to UltraMantis Black's team the Arcane Horde after Bakabella passed on drafting him. They made it to the finals at the Season Finale "CHIKARA Top Banana" on December 5th, (though without Bakabella, as Oleg had eliminated him from CHIKARA at "King of Trios") where they were defeated by Crown and Court (Princess Kimberlee (Kimberly Frankele), Jervis Cottonbelly and Los Ice Creams [Ice Cream Jr. and El Hijo del Ice Cream]). Jaka left the Wrecking Crew to join Die Bruderschaft des Kreuzes with Jakob Hammermeier and Pinkie Sanchez, before that group fell apart in 2016 and Jaka left CHIKARA. The Devastation Corporation would proceed to fall apart throughout 2016, with Rumblecrunch making his last appearance in a squash over Billy Bodyslam (a trainee being used as a masked jobber to help him gain experience) at "CHIKARA Cruise Control" on October 8th. Rumblecrunch and McMassive teamed for a time as the Gatekeepers for EVOLVE Wrestling. Burke announced his retirement due to injuries on March 30, 2017. Among his in-ring achievements, he is a former 2x CW (Chaotic Wrestling in Massachusetts) Heavyweight Champion, a former CW New England Champion and a former 2x NECW Heavyweight Champion.
