- Actress
Born and bread in SoCal, Ruthie had a passion for storytelling at a young age. She was fortunate enough to grow up around the Entertainment Industry through her father, an animation storyboard artist. Her first novel was published at age 19 (now out of print), and she has since written four titles in the romance genre:
"Unscripted Act 1" (Less Than Three Press, 2015; JMS Books, 2020) "Unscripted Act 2" (Less Than Three Press, 2016; JMS Books, 2020) "The Railwalkers" (JMS Books, 2021) "Blood in the Golden Palace." (JMS Books, 2021)
Ruthie was accepted into CSUN's Screenwriting program in fall of 2017, where she graduated Cum Laude in the spring of '19. During her two years at Northridge, she received notable awards and grants for her writing, and became an intern script coverage writer for the production company, American High. During her internship, she was frequently showcased as one of their top readers.
After graduation, Ruthie focused on putting her work into the world. With everything shutting down due to the pandemic, Ruthie finished her manuscript, now the critically acclaimed novel, "The Railwalkers," and submitted a query for her full length horror movie, "Hair of the Dog Diner." The script was optioned by Paul Baker in 2021, and the novel is in the process of adaptation for a mini series.
