Biography

Julio Bana Fernandez was born in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. While he has worked in almost every crew position from PA to directing, acting is the forefront of his passion. Most recently being seen in Born Evil (HBO MAX), Move Me No Mountain (Amazon Prime), House of Cards (Netflix) and soon to be released in the 2024 holiday season A Perfect Christmas (Regal Cinemas).

Julio got his name from his father who is originally from Riveira, Spain. Although he is, like his mother, a born and raised American. He is the youngest of four children, all of whom still reside in Julio's hometown of Baltimore, Maryland.

His passion for acting began in theatre at a very young age and he continued to work in theatre until his late adolescent years when he made a transition to work in film as well. He trained with industry professionals like BAFTA winning filmmaker Christhian Andrews, CEO of Butterfly Films Kimberly Skyrme (House of Cards), and HBO producing veteran as fellow Baltimore native Marc Henry Johnson (The Wire).

Aside from film, Julio follows other passions like playing professional roller hockey all over the United States and other parts of the world.
