Hailing from Chicago, IL, Armani Martin is a director, producer, and writer.
Armani's debut short film, Deus ex Machina, starring Patrick Walker and Priah Ferguson, premiered at the BronzeLens Film Festival, where it won the Best Short Film award and ranked in the Top 10 at ABFF for the HBO Short Film Award, and Best Director at LA Shorts Awards. It won four consecutive awards before its Direct TV and Aspire TV release. Her second short film, Stripes, earned the prestigious African American Film Critics Association Short Film Award. Armani followed it up with a family feature, All I Want For Christmas, starring Erica Peeples on Hulu.
Her experience ranges from directing critically acclaimed short films to producing hit unscripted television series and executive producing music videos for some of today's biggest music stars. She has built lasting relationships within the Hip Hop industry, collaborating with artists like Migos, Chance the Rapper, Lil Baby, and Megan Thee Stallion. Her work also includes directing live performances for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on NBC.
