The upcoming episode of “Celebrity Mastermind” on BBC Two promises an exciting mix of personalities and intriguing topics. Olympian Kriss Akabusi, known for his athletic achievements, will take a seat in the famous black chair alongside BBC radio presenter Nikita Kanda. Actor Mike Bubbins and comedian Lindsey Santoro will also join the challenge, making for a lively and entertaining episode.

Where Life On Mars and Ashes To Ashes created drama from people who went back in time from the present day to the 1970s, Mammoth examines what might happen if someone from the 1970s found themselves in the present day.

Comedian Mike Bubbins co-writes and stars in the sitcom, which comes to BBC Two and iPlayer on 17th April. The BBC have released a trailer, alongside interviews with the cast, which you can find here.

The synopsis reads as follows:

Mammoth is a comedy show about the life of Pe teacher Tony Mammoth. Mammoth is a man literally out of time. In 1979 he was a happy-go-lucky Pe teacher, leading a school skiing trip to the French Alps. Life was good. Right up until an avalanche decided to ruin his day...

We are delighted to announce the Cheerful Earful Podcast Festival, the first ever comedy podcast festival, will return to London this Autumn with some of the UK’s biggest and most beloved comedy pods performing live.

From Tuesday 31st October until Sunday 5th November audiences will have the chance to watch headliners The Joe Marler Show and Socially Distanced Sports Bar, plus top pods such as Shame Is Delicious, Nobody Panic and Cuddle Club (Lou Sanders).

Staged across beautiful venues run by the award-winning Three Cheers Pub Co., including festival hub The Bedford in Balham, this year will also see the return of many fan-favourites, including Trusty Hogs, Loremen, Birthday Girls House Party and Pappy's.
