Bachelor in Paradise season 9 doesn't premiere until the fall, but host Jesse Palmer has some advice for the upcoming contestants. Bip season 9 began filming in Mexico on June 6, and wrapped roughly two and a half weeks later. This means that the contestants had a very short amount of time to meet, fall in love, and get engaged. Last summer, several couples left the beach in relationships or engaged, but only one duo (Michael Allio and Danielle Maltby) is still together today. Jesse was there to witness it all, and he's now looking forward to the new season.

In an interview with E! News, Jesse previewed that the new season is, "wild," and offered advice to the Bachelor in Paradise season 9 hopefuls. Jesse said that they shouldn't come in, "laser-focused" to meet certain people, because those plans never usually come to fruition. Instead, he thinks that contestants should be open-minded and go on dates.

The Bachelorette star Becca Kufrin announced that she and her fiancé, Thomas Jacobs, who got his Bachelor Nation start as a contestant in The Bachelorette season 17, are expecting their first baby together. Becca and Thomas had a strong connection during Bachelor in Paradise season 7, but they broke up before the end of the show. Shortly after filming, they reconciled, and they have shared a loving and happy relationship ever since. In May 2022, Becca flipped the script and proposed to Thomas. He then popped the question to Becca in October 2022.

Bachelor in Paradise Canada season 2 will feature some favorite Bachelor Nation alums who are ready for another chance at love after trying their luck on either The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, or Bachelor in Paradise. Sharleen Joynt is the new host of Bachelor in Paradise Canada, replacing Jesse Jones. Sharleen is from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, and competed for Juan Pablo Galavis' affections on The Bachelor season 18. She self-eliminated in week 7 because she didn't think she would be ready to get engaged to Juan Pablo so quickly.

Joining Sharleen is Kevin Wendt, who returns as Bip Canada's bartender. Kevin won The Bachelorette Canada and later appeared on The Bachelor Winter Games and Bachelor in Paradise season 5. It was on the latter show that he met his wife, Astrid Loch. While the U.S. version of Bachelor in Paradise takes place on the beaches of Mexico, in Canada, the contestants have a lakefront view.

When co-star Kevin Wendt let it slip to Kendall Long that Leo kissed Chelsea Roy after their date, Leo went on a total warpath. He ranted about "snitches" and then screamed at Kevin when he found out who spilled the beans. Not to mention, when he finally talked to Kendall, he called her an "actress" and insinuated that she's a liar. Still, after watching it back, he clearly found the scene "entertaining," and now he's facing some fan backlash for his reaction. Minutes after the epsiode aired, Leo took to Twitter with a bunch of flame emojis and a gif from Gladiator that showed Russell Crowe yelling "are you not entertained?!" Apparently, fans were not entertained, and they let him know right away.

People are expected to be vulnerable on Bachelor in Paradise. The whole point is to find love, so contestants are often forced to be very open about their love lives and feelings. Yet, rarely if ever have we seen someone speak so candidly about their mental health than Kevin Wendt did on Aug. 27, and fans were truly touched. So, when fans saw Raven Gates dancing through the streets of Finland and making snow angels after her Fantasy Suite date with Nick Viall on The Bachelor, of course they assumed that slept together.
