"You'll have to be really brave, okay?" Netflix has revealed their official trailer for a Brazilian series titled Rivers of Fate in English, or just Pssica in Brazilian (which translates to Curse). The series is adapted from the book of the same name from Edyr Augusto. Three strangers' lives collide in the Amazon: Janalice, kidnapped by traffickers; Preá, a reluctant gang leader; and Mariangel, seeking vengeance for her family's murder. All three of them must try to break the curse, or "pssica," that they believe has been cast on them. Rivers of Fate is a gripping drama mini-series directed by Quico Meirelles & Fernando Meirelles (of City of God), starring Domithila Cattete, Marleyda Soto, and Lucas Galvino. The Netflix series dives deep into the Pará region of the Amazon, exploring human trafficking, corruption, and the fight for justice.
