Pranati Rai Prakash desires to work with Kartik Aaryan in ‘Aashiqui 3’

After working with Kartik Aaryan in ‘Love Aajkal 2’, actress Pranati Rai Prakash bas expressed her wish to share the screen with the heartthrob once again in the third installment of ‘Aashiqui’.

Pranati dreams of starring in Aashiqui 3 and working with Anurag Basu who is one of her dreams directors.

She said: “People have loved our chemistry, and I personally love romantic films. I would love to work once again with him in Aashiqui 3. I am a die-hard fan of romanticism.”

The ‘Aashiqui’ franchise started in the 1990s with Rahul Roy, Anu Aggarwal and Deepak Tijori in pivotal roles. It was directed by Mahesh Bhatt.

‘Aashiqui 2’, directed by Mohit Suri, was released in 2013. It stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles, with Shaad Randhawa and Mahesh Thakur in supporting roles, as well as Salil Acharya in a cameo appearance.

Pranati Rai Prakash: ‘Gabru’ shoot was a road trip

Among the reasons Pranati Rai Prakash loved shooting for the music video of Kamal Khan's Punjabi track "Gabru" is that it required her to be on a mini road trip.

"I travelled from Gurgaon to Chandigarh for the shoot. It was a road trip. I love road trips. We halted at dhabas for delicious daal makhnis and aloo parathas. Everyone was new to me but felt like friends, so shooting for it was fun," she recalls.

The actress says the video was very different from the work she has done before.

"I think each project I do has a different essence to it. Gabru has a lovely fun vibe to it and I loved the 'salwar kurte mein running in the Punjab ke khet' sequence," says Pranati, who made her debut in the film "Family Of Thakurganj" in 2019 and will be seen in "Penthouse" opposite Arjun Rampal, as well...

Mumbai, March 4 (Ians) Pranati Rai Prakash recently wrapped up Abbas-Mustan's upcoming web series Penthouse. She says the thriller series gave her a chance to work with people she has admired as a child.

The series also stars Bobby Deol and Arjun Rampal, along with Mouni Roy, Larissa Bonesi and Sharman Joshi.

"I worked with people I've watched on the screen as a child. It was amazing. Our directors, Abbas-Mastan, my co-actors -- everyone was very polite and great to hang around with. Each has a unique personality," she said.

On her character, the actress said: "She's a rebel, she's lonely. That's a little about my character. I'll be the reason for some chaos, that's all I can say."

Pranati recently ventured into music as a singer-composer with her debut single Tera muskurana, which released on February 25.

Mumbai, Feb 24: TV star and model Pranati Rai Prakash is set to venture into music with her debut single Tera muskurana, which is slated to release on February 25.

Pranati, who became a household name playimng the titular Binny in the comic TV series Mannphodganj Ki Binny, has not only lent her voice to the track but has also written and composed it, with Rishabh Tiwari.

"I have composed and sung my part in the music video. I started composing songs when I was 12 years old with a desire to express my emotions that were complex, larger, and beautiful and I wanted to express them better than just write in my journal. It feels great that I'm finally singing my composition for people to hear. I'm nervous and excited!" Pranati declared.

Pranati Rai Prakash to play negative role in Ekta Kapoor's series 'Blackwoods'

Mumbai, Feb 18 (Ians) Actress Pranati Rai Prakash has been roped in to play a negative role in Ekta Kapoor's upcoming web series Blackwoods.

"I'll be playing a negative shade for the first time. She's spicy, fiery, dramatic, and spoilt. That's how I can define my next character. I'm very excited to take on another journey," said Pranati, who is known for her roles in the TV show Mannphodganj Ki Binny and the film Family Of Thakurganj.

According to the sources, Nakul Sahdev, Kanikka Kapur, Vidushi Mehra will be also seen alongside Pranati Rai Prakash in Blackwoods.

The shoot of the show is expected to start in March. Blackwoods will be directed by Abhijit Das and produced by Ekta Kapoor.

Atul Srivastava, Alka Kaushal join hands for this comedy drama
Actors Atul Srivastava and Alka Kaushal have been roped in for comedy drama series "Mannphodganj".

Sameer Nair-led Applause Entertainment, the content studio of the Aditya Birla Group, along with DJ's A Creative Unit is working on the series which is an adaptation of the book "Band Baaja Boys" by Rachna Singh, read a statement.

The story revolves around a 22-year-old girl Binny Bajpai, to be played by model Pranati Rai Prakash, who challenges the customs and traditions in Mannphodganj.?

Vikas Chandra is directing the series from a screenplay by Amitosh Nagpal. It also stars Anurag Sinha, Farmaan Khan, Abhinav Anand, Kritika, Aru Krishank and Samar Vermani.

"'Mannphodganj' is a light-hearted comedy. I always wanted to direct a show which the audience can relate to... I am thrilled to work with such outstanding cast and can't wait to for the audiences to watch it," Chandra said.
