Donnevan Tolbert

Donnevan Tolbert is an actor, artist, author, and educator from Detroit, Michigan. He was born on December 13, 1994. After graduating from Cass Technical High School in Detroit, he received his B.A in Theatre from Wayne State University in 2017. During his time at Wayne State, Donnevan appeared in several popular theatre dramas such as Fences by August Wilson (Cory), suburbia by Eric Bogosian (Tim), and In The Red and Brown Water by Tarell Alvin McCraney (Shango). Most recently, he was granted acceptance into the Hillman Grad Productions Acting Track for the class of 2022. Hillman Grad is a production company co-founded by Lena Waithe and Rishi Rajani. He has also studied at the Stella Adler Art of Acting Studio in Los Angeles.
