Fran Kirchmair, a polyglot in six languages (Fluent: English, German, Romanian, Italian; Proficient: French; Conversational: Spanish), was born in Linz, Austria. She grew up in Carinthia, Austria, until the age of eleven, when she moved to Geneva, Switzerland. After graduating from Institut Le Rosey, Fran began pursuing a degree in economics at City University London. In 2017, she moved to Los Angeles, CA, and shortly afterward co-starred in Academy Award-winner AR Rahman's film Le Musk. While this marked Fran's break into the entertainment industry, she simultaneously attended Pepperdine University, where she pursued a bachelor's degree in Film, Television, and Media Production.
During this time, her notable projects included producing a web commercial, the DRE Enduro Tuscany Experience, for Ducati, commercial content for Huawei, the critically acclaimed short film La Ricetta della Mamma based on Giorgio Faletti's short story, and the short action thriller SC4, in which she also starred. Most recently, Fran produced and co-starred in the feature horror film The Solemn Vow, which was acquired by Amazon Prime Italy.
In addition to her entertainment career, Fran has completed her master's degree from the Caruso School of Law (Pepperdine University) and continues to thrive as a fashion model for international luxury, swimwear, and beauty brands.
Fran is also deeply passionate about charity work. She is a co-founder and board member of Bulletproof Israel, excelling in managing donor relations and presiding over fundraising events for the 501(c)(3) organization established in response to the events of October 7, 2023. Furthermore, Fran contributes to United Hatzalah Los Angeles as a gala committee member and is dedicated to building the organization's young leadership presence. Her legal education from the Caruso School of Law has been instrumental in honing her professional capabilities in both entertainment and nonprofit work. Her previous roles as an event committee member with organizations such as United Way Santa Barbara and as a committee member for Lotusland Montecito have laid the foundation for her expertise in fundraising, donor relations, and charity galas.
In her free time, Fran is a passionate horse rider (show jumper), enjoys wine, and values spending time with her friends and family.
