Jacquemus unveils its Spring 2026 collection in Versailles, blending rural roots, haute couture, and a deeply personal narrative.

Simon Porte Jacquemus presented his Spring 2026 collection with a show that merged fashion, personal memory, and rural heritage into an authentic and visually striking format. In an industry that often distances itself from humble beginnings, the French designer reaffirms his identity with a proposal titled ‘Le Paysan‘ (“The Peasant”), set in one of France’s most iconic locations: the Palace of Versailles.

Far from seeking conventional glamour, Jacquemus chose the Orangerie of the palace in its rawest state—unadorned and unpretentious—as the stage to present a deeply autobiographical collection. This strategic decision not only reinforces the value of authenticity in modern luxury but also strengthens the brand’s positioning in a market where personal storytelling plays an increasingly important role in consumer choices.

Leighton Meester, Laura Harrier and Nicholas Alexander Chavez step out at the Jacquemus Los Angeles Boutique Opening Cocktail held on Thursday (April 24) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The three actors were among many celebs and influencers who attended the new LA boutique’s opening, which was also attended by the brand’s founder and designer Simon Porte Jacquemus.

This is the third boutique for Jacquemus, following London and New York locations, with the LA spot suggesting “a home in Provence, where rustic materials are transformed with a refined touch while art and furnishings reflect a collector’s spirit.”

Jacquemus was the toast of West Hollywood on Thursday night.

Simon Porte Jacquemus and his French fashion brand brought Riviera flair to the corner of Melrose Avenue and Robertson Boulevard to celebrate the house’s second outpost in the United States (after opening a Soho location last year). In addition to the banana mobile parked out front, there were stacks upon stacks of real bananas positioned alongside rows of flowers, lemons and other farmer’s market ready essentials. Oh, and banana soft serve was flowing along with the champagne at the new location, 8804 Melrose, in a space formerly occupied by James Perse.

A mix of L.A. fashion insiders made the rounds alongside actors, influencers and musicians, many of whom were toting floral bouquets or bananas through the bash. With haute couture week in Paris concluded, the spotlight of the fashion world shifted en masse to Saint-Paul-de-Vence, the village perched on the Maritime Alps in southern France. Simon Porte Jacquemus chose it as the location to present his new collection for 2024 in the Maeght Foundation, a few kilometers from Nice, calling together his high-profile friends Gigi Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski, model (and girlfriend, reportedly, of Leonardo DiCaprio) Vittoria Ceretti and Deva Cassel (daughter of Monica Bellucci and Vincent Cassel) who paraded on a platform set up among the works of Joan Miró, Marc Chagall, Alexander Calder and Alberto Giacometti.

Not surprisingly, the collection of 47 looks, both women’s and men’s, was given the name “Les Sculptures” by the French designer (who himself grew up in the south of France, in the town of Mallemort, not far from Marseille). Hardworking singer Dua Lipa said goodbye to Mexico after a handful of performances in the south-of-the-border country.

Dua went out with a bang as she shared multiple pictures and videos of the food, sights, and fashion that she experienced while in Mexico.

The latest post, shared with her 87 million Instagram followers, featured ten parts, offering a lot of new content for fans to enjoy.

Dua was rewarded handsomely for the post, earning upwards of 1.9 million likes and counting. She also received more than 8k likes for the share.

Dua revisited an outfit shared earlier in the week when she visited an architectural feat by Luis Barragán and treated fans to other previously unseen looks.

As the singer heads north, she leaves behind memories captured through camera lenses from her time down south.

Dua Lipa is living it up in Mexico as she performs and experiences the pleasures of the country.

Dua’s latest share on Instagram saw her dancing the night away in a brown bra with layered gold necklaces and her hair down with natural waves.

She performed in front of sold-out crowds and shared pictures of the throngs of fans who came to see her.

Dua brought the party with her as she appeared in Mexico City with some well-known friends. One such friend was the designer for Jacquemus, whose wedding Dua attended last month.

Dua and Simon Jacquemus danced up a storm as the Future Nostalgia singer had a drink in one hand and the other arm in the air. She wore large hoop earrings and winged eyeliner with a sparkly finish.
