It earned 232,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. Of those, 72,000 comprise streaming equivalent albums (Sea) equaling 94.68 million on-demand streams of the album’s songs, according to Luminate.

The follow-up to the chart-topping EP Jackboys from 2019, the sequel arrived on July 13 with seven songs available as a digital download and came in five vinyl variants. Its expanded version houses 17 tracks, available via digital download, streaming, and on CD with five variants.

The world’s largest hip-hop festival just released the set times for its flagship event, taking place between December 13-15 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Fla.

Celebrating 10 years of Rolling Loud, headliners include Future, Travis Scott and Playboi Carti, with superstars set to perform like Yeat, Don Toliver, Lil Baby, Metro Boomin, Lil Yachty, Trippie Redd, Tyga, Lil Tecca, Rick Ross, Jt, Sexyy Red, Kodak Black, and many others.

The festival is also introducing country music to its lineup with stars like Shaboozey and Reyna Roberts.

Lil Wayne, Lil Yachty, and Mikę Will Made-It chart some serious highs and serious lows in the new music video for their recent collaborative single, “High3r.”

The visual jumps between close-up shots of the three artists performing the song and three different vignettes that play off the themes of “High3r.” In the first, a couple’s euphoric night turns horrific after one too many pills; in the second, a wild joy ride ends with a seemingly inevitable crash; and in the last, a lovelorn pharmacists finds himself on...

At this point, one expects a Kanye West album to be incomplete in some way upon release, but Vultures 2, his second collaborative album with Ty Dolla $ign, is in shambles. It’s marked by improper mixes, unfinished verses, demo-quality audio, and one track in particular, the otherwise heartfelt “My Soul,” is panned to one speaker. Of course, these are trivialities that West will eventually get around to fixing like he did with 2016’s The Life of Pablo.

But Vultures 2 represents a tipping point for West’s methodology of pushing the limits of a deadline, resulting in songs that sound either half-assed, such as the too-cutesy “Promotion,” or simply incomplete. Which, in some ways, might be the point: Like the first Vultures, this one leans more heavily on vibes and aesthetics than substance or emotion.

Florida rapper Kodak Black (real name Bill Kapri) continued his troubling pattern of behavior on Wednesday (February 21st) when he got combative with a local news team that was covering his release from jail.

Kapri was being released from Broward County jail in Florida when he threw rocks at Local 10 photojournalist Bryan Murphy and allegedly threatened to punch reporter Rosh Lowe.

Kodak, whose real name is Bill Kapri, has been charged with cocaine possession, tampering with or fabricating physical evidence and improperly parking or stopping a vehicle, per People.

A report obtained by Wtvj stated that an officer found the musician asleep in the driver’s seat of his Bentley SUV, which was parked in the roadway. Kodak was arrested after the officer reportedly noticed a white powder at the scene, which later tested positive for cocaine.

NBC News reported that Kodak was released on $5,000 bond the same day he was taken into custody.
