Travis Scott Hangs Out With His Amazing Friends on ‘Jackboys 2’
Image
“Yeah, man, I swear these old niggas kill me,” raps Travis Scott in his typical melodic flow on “Champain & Vacay.” The Houston star’s pushback against Clipse’s “So Be It,” where Pusha T’s ripped Scott for his “lack of loyalty” towards past mentors and friends like Kanye West and Drake, seems relatively tame. The irony, though, is that Scott isn’t young anymore, either. At age 34, he’s been a star since 2014’s Days Before Rodeo, and his traits are overly familiar: the watery and slightly distorted harmonies,...

Donald Trump Open to Diddy Pardon Amid Sex-Trafficking Trial
Image
On May 30, 2025, President Donald Trump told reporters at a White House news conference that no one had formally asked him to grant clemency to music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, but that he would “certainly look at the facts” before deciding whether to issue a pardon. Asked by Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy if personal relationships would influence his judgment, Trump replied that he would assess any request impartially, regardless of past friendships.

Combs, founder of Bad Boy Records, faces a federal racketeering and sex-trafficking trial in Manhattan that began with jury selection on May 5, 2025. He is charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution, to which he has pleaded not guilty.

Prosecutors have presented testimony alleging Combs exploited his industry influence over two decades to coerce women into drug-fueled sexual encounters, including accusations of rape by two women; Combs’s defense...

P Diddy Is Willing to Do Anything to Get Out of Jail Including Using “Good Friend” Donald Trump (Report)
Image
Sean “Diddy” Combs or P Diddy- The hip-hop star once celebrated for his enormous empire- is now neck-deep in a federal legal battle that could tip his legacy over. Charged with serious crimes like sex trafficking, racketeering, and more, Diddy is fighting for freedom in an extremely public trial that’s already made quite the headlines. But here’s what’s truly raising eyebrows.

According to multiple sources, Diddy and his legal team have been quietly working to get a pardon from none other than the Potus, Donald Trump. Yep, you read that right. Diddy is trying to get a pardon from the same person he so publicly criticized in 2020. Given the possibility of a life sentence, calling a truce with Trump probably doesn’t sound like too bad of an idea to Diddy.

Here’s how a presidential pardon from Trump became a part of P Diddy’s...

Real Reason Jimmy Kimmel Called Diddy One of Donald Trump’s ‘Best Customers’
Image
In the ever-entwined world of Hollywood scandals and political jabs, late-night TV remains an intersection for shocking headlines and satire. In a recent Jimmy Kimmel Live! episode, host Jimmy Kimmel did not hold back as he went on to draw a connection between the Potus, Donald Trump, and embattled rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Diddy is currently facing multiple federal investigations and civil lawsuits involving human trafficking and sexual assault; it is believed his extravagant illicit events were often hosted at the Trump International Hotel in New York. In a monologue that was quick to go viral, Kimmel can be seen quipping that Trump might actually consider pardoning Diddy because of their connection. While the comment got its usual laughs, it was based on some disturbingly real revelations.

Diddy’s alleged connection with Donald Trump

On Wednesday night’s episode of the late-night show, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, host Jimmy Kimmel was...

All 3 A$AP Rocky Albums, Ranked from Worst to Best
Image
In one instance, while going for an interview, A$AP Rocky greeted the room with a grin after arriving flanked by a battalion of towering security. “I haven’t slept,” he said, “but I gotta tell you, I’m really happy to be here.” And with Rocky, you believe it.

A$AP Rocky is one of the most forward-thinking artists in hip-hop today, consistently reinventing his sound while still maintaining his Harlem roots. From the moment Live.Love.A$AP dropped in 2011, he’s been shaping hip hop – not just with music, but with his fashion, the accompanying visuals of his work, and a charisma that is, honestly, quite hard to miss.

Rocky’s discography, meanwhile, is small but impactful, with each album showcasing a different side, iteration, and era of the artist. Some projects hit harder than others, but there’s no denying that Rocky loves to take risks with the genre.

Yeat Drowns in His Own Noise on ‘Lyfestyle’
Image
Yeat’s latest album, Lyfestyle, whirrs by in an hour-long blur, its details distorted in a cacophony of electronic noise. The Portland rapper surfs amid chiptune beats and synthwave stabs, and freestyles lines that he transmogrifies with adlibs and distortion effects. There are references to “big body Tonkas” and “geekin’.” He occasionally calls himself “God” without attributing that term’s origins in Five Percenter rap. But such details don’t seem to matter. Whether Nineties Memphis rapper 2 Low Key gets sampled on “Stfu” or Eighties funk-styled synth-bass is laid under “New High,...

Hip-hop is ripe to be capitalized on, and GOP operatives are taking advantage while trying to take over swing states. Already, artists like Fivio Foreign, Kodak Black, and Sexyy Red have advocated for Donald Trump in various ways this election cycle (some with the help of Billy McFarland). Trump’s campaign is transparently pandering to Black voters through photo ops and with snippets from his speeches appearing in songs like Fivio and Kodak’s “ONBOA47RD,” a baffling political endorsement track.

Mike Will Made-It, Lil Wayne, and Lil Yachty Figure Out if the High Was Worth the Pain in ‘High3r’ Video
Image
Lil Wayne, Lil Yachty, and Mikę Will Made-It chart some serious highs and serious lows in the new music video for their recent collaborative single, “High3r.”

The visual jumps between close-up shots of the three artists performing the song and three different vignettes that play off the themes of “High3r.” In the first, a couple’s euphoric night turns horrific after one too many pills; in the second, a wild joy ride ends with a seemingly inevitable crash; and in the last, a lovelorn pharmacists finds himself on...

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign ‘Vultures 2’ Review: Phoned in and Disconnected
Image
At this point, one expects a Kanye West album to be incomplete in some way upon release, but Vultures 2, his second collaborative album with Ty Dolla $ign, is in shambles. It’s marked by improper mixes, unfinished verses, demo-quality audio, and one track in particular, the otherwise heartfelt “My Soul,” is panned to one speaker. Of course, these are trivialities that West will eventually get around to fixing like he did with 2016’s The Life of Pablo.

But Vultures 2 represents a tipping point for West’s methodology of pushing the limits of a deadline, resulting in songs that sound either half-assed, such as the too-cutesy “Promotion,” or simply incomplete. Which, in some ways, might be the point: Like the first Vultures, this one leans more heavily on vibes and aesthetics than substance or emotion.

Ty does reliably good work here, but he’s more or less relegated to a supporting role,...

The Fyre Fest Fraudster Is Connecting Trump With Rappers

The Results Are In: Kendrick Lamar Won the Great Rap War
Image
We know Kendrick Lamar and Drake will throw more shots, levy more seedy allegations, and might even drop more all-out diss songs from here. But the bulk of the war has been fought, and the crown goes to Compton. In hindsight, the way Drake poked the bear with Instagram Stories provocations and his “Taylor Made” freestyle seems masochistic. Over the past week, Lamar hit Drake with a relentless volley of diss songs that comprehensively dismantled his opponent’s character and, with “Not Like Us,” may make him the punchline of the summer.

Kodak Black Throws Rocks at Photographer, Threatens Reporter After Being Release from Jail
Image
Florida rapper Kodak Black (real name Bill Kapri) continued his troubling pattern of behavior on Wednesday (February 21st) when he got combative with a local news team that was covering his release from jail.

Kapri was being released from Broward County jail in Florida when he threw rocks at Local 10 photojournalist Bryan Murphy and allegedly threatened to punch reporter Rosh Lowe.

According to the ABC affiliate, one of the rocks hit Murphy in the ribs. The artist then proceeded to shout, “Call the cops!” Watch Local 10’s footage of the run-in below.

Though Murphy filed an incident report with the Fort Lauderdale Police Department, he later decided not to press charges.

The rapper had been in jail since December 2023, when a drug possession charge led to a probation violation. Earlier this month, those charges were dismissed with credit for time served when Kapri’s attorney proved he had a prescription for Oxycodone,...

The “Super Gremlin” rapper walked out of detention Wednesday night, meaning he’ll be free to witness the birth of his son due later this week.

“It was important for him to be out for the birth of his son,” his lawyer Bradford Cohen tells Rolling Stone. “This is his fourth child. He has been at every birth,...

Everything That’s Gone Wrong for Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s ‘Vultures 1’ Rollout
Image
If there’s one defining feature of seemingly every Kanye West album rollout, it’s gotta be chaos. In the past, it was usually good chaos — oh, how we yearn for the days of first-week sales competitions, Good Friday drops, and music videos projected on buildings. But these days, it’s often grim chaos, and the rollout for Vultures 1, West’s new collaborative album with Ty Dolla $ign, has been another exhibition in the form: delays upon delays, sample issues, diatribes of various kinds, and an alternate album cover based...

Kodak Black Oxycodone Charge Dismissed After ‘Cocaine’ Flub
Image
Jailed rap star Kodak Black scored a legal victory Friday when a Florida judge dismissed his drug charge linked to his Dec. 7 arrest for possession of a substance deemed “cocaine” at the scene but was actually oxycodone through subsequent lab testing. Black, whose legal name is Bill Kapri, submitted a prescription for the oxycodone to the court prior to the ruling. Prosecutors tried, but failed, to convince the court that more was needed to substantiate the script.

“[Prosecutors] do not refute or negate the material fact that the defendant had an...

Vultures is among us. On Tuesday, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign shared the Jon Rafman-directed trailer for the long-teased LP, released under the music super duo’s ¥$ alias.

The dark video, backed by the LP’s title track “Vultures,” sees sepia-colored clips of backrooms, owls, basements, and men in black cloaks holding massive guns. West, wearing a black ski mask, is spotted several times in the video. One quick scene appears to show West’s Donda house on fire.

The visual ends with the announcement of release dates...

Kodak Black Demands Drug Case Dismissal After Lab Tests Prove No Cocaine
Image
Kodak Black is asking a judge to dismiss his pending drug charges in Florida after lab tests proved the white substance collected during his recent arrest was the prescription painkiller oxycodone, not cocaine. In a sworn motion filed Monday in Broward County, defense lawyer Brad Cohen says the multiplatinum-selling rapper had a legal prescription at the time of his arrest on December 7, 2023, so his charges should be stricken.

Black, whose legal name is Bill Kapri, has been locked up in the case for weeks. Cohen plans to argue for his...

Image
Last month, Kanye West began teasing his upcoming album, Vultures, the artist’s first release since a string of controversies in which the Grammy-winning musician aligned himself with far-right ideologues and was booted from Twitter (now called X) after declaring that he intended to go “death con 3 On Jewish People.”

Kanye spent much of 2023 out of the public eye, reportedly recording the album in various locations alongside collaborator Ty Dolla $ign. In addition to Ty, Vultures reportedly includes features from Lil Baby, Bad Bunny, Nicki Minaj, James Blake, Kodak Black,...

Kodak Black Arrest Fail: Prosecutors Say It Was Oxycodone, Not Cocaine
Image
Broward County prosecutors quietly charged Kodak Black with oxycodone possession Monday, not cocaine, following the multiplatinum-selling rapper’s widely reported arrest in South Florida last month. The new court filing, obtained by Rolling Stone, contradicts an affidavit from the arresting officer in the case that stated the “white chunky substance” allegedly found in Black’s possession on Dec. 7, 2023 “field tested positive on scene for cocaine.”

Black’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen, tells Rolling Stone that the artist, whose legal name is Bill Kapri, not only has a prescription for oxycodone, but...
