Russ Burlingame has been writing about comic books and related media since 1999, when he began an internship at Wizard: The Comics Magazine. After earning some freelance work at Wizard and making some industry contacts, Burlingame finished college while working part time for sites like Comic Related and Blog@Newsarama, and for print publications in the Syracuse, NY, area, where he is based. In 2011, Burlingame joined ComicBook and helped build the small website into a substantial presence in the entertainment press.
