The Slender Man Mythos has spawned countless stories featuring the internet boogeyman from 2009 until today, from the original images on the SomethingAwful Forums, to Slenderverse webseries and blogs created by thousands of everyday people. In 2023, Valeria Santiago and -k. (hiimarymary) founded the charity event ‘Slender For Gender’ and raised over $13,000 for Trans Lifeline with the help of the Slenderverse community. Now, on the 16th anniversary of the character’s creation, Slender For Gender returns, running from June 10 to June 21, 2025.

Slender For Gender is a charity event run by and for the Slenderverse community in an effort to raise money in support of the transgender community, with all proceeds going to the Trans Lifeline charity.
