WWE legend Sid Vicious came from the golden age of wrestling that was prevalent in the 1990s. Then known as WWF, which Vince McMahon later turned into WWE, Sid was a relatively prominent name in the business. Dubbed as ‘Sycho Sid’, he was a dangerous, unorthodox character in the company who was wrestling in the main event scene.
He remained an active competitor for a number of years and battled various professional and personal demons throughout his life. Finally, over two decades after Sid Vicious had outlasted his prime as a wrestler, he met with a tragic end to his life.

Sid Vicious had been living the life of a professional wrestler for years. This came with its own pros and cons. In the past, he had been arrested for the possession of marijuana in 2011 in Shelby County.

The WWE Universe was not ready in 2023, as they witnessed the much-anticipated return of Cm Punk at Survivor Series: WarGames. His return marked one of the loudest pops in recent times. Despite leaving the company in a storm of controversy, he returned a hero’s exit, looking better than ever!
Recently, talking to SPORTBible, the Second City Saint recalled how his return ruined Randy Orton’s return, who was out for quite some time with a back injury. Following his return, he was going to cut a promo, but Randy Orton was having his sweet time inside the ring against Dominik Mysterio, leaving him little room for his promo.
This left him utterly tense, where he was “running around” with a script of what he was going to address to the fans. However, Triple H was not thrilled to see this and reminded him who he was. Punk said,

WWE SmackDown on July 18th was straight-up wild, and we’ve got a lot to unpack. Don’t worry, we’ll dive into the whole John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes chaos in a bit, but even without that showdown, the night was packed with jaw-dropping moments.
First off, the drama between Mft and The Bloodline hit a new level. It seriously looked like Jacob Fatu orchestrated a car crash targeting Mft members. Yeah, it was that intense.
Then there’s Charlotte Flair, aka the Queen of WWE and Ric Flair’s daughter, who pulled off a surprise win over Raquel Rodriguez in a tag match that also featured Alexa Bliss and Roxanne Perez. Didn’t see that coming. And while fans were hyped for Damian Priest vs. Aleister Black, we got Priest vs. Carmelo Hayes instead, and it was total mayhem. Absolute destruction in the ring.

The July 18th SmackDown episode is shaping up to be a total blockbuster. Cena and Cody finally locking eyes after finalising in their SummerSlam bout? That’s already huge. The contract signing is bound to be more than just pens and paper, expect verbal fireworks, maybe even fists flying if things get heated.
And with Randy Orton’s feud bubbling over, his involvement could take the drama up another notch. Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul have been pushing all the wrong buttons, and now that Jelly Roll’s riding with Orton, the tension in that crew is off the charts. We might see a full-on showdown, interruptions, maybe even some surprise alliances forming in the chaos.
And that’s not all, there’s plenty more cooking on this week’s SmackDown. The women’s division is heating up big time! Naomi’s rocking the Women’s World Title right now,...

As the world gears up for WWE Money in the Bank, talks of how WWE can shake things up at this Ple go wilder than ever. As reports suggest, WWE might try and get a couple of their heavy-hitters in the mix to jumpstart the momentum that has been on a decline since WrestleMania 41. The event will witness the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match featuring the likes of Seth Rollins, Andrade, LA Knight, Penta, Solo Sikoa and El Grande Americano.
The women’s Money in the Bank match would comprise Alexa Bliss, Rhea Ripley, Roxanne Perez, Giulia, Naomi and Stephanie Vaquer. Apart from these two bouts, Lyra Valkyria will fight Becky Lynch for the Women’s Intercontinental championship with John Cena will tag team with Logan Paul to face Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso.
Why does Vince Russo feel that even the return of Brock Lesnar can’t save WWE right now?...

We might be die-hard WWE fans, but let’s be real, WWE isn’t about actual fighting. It’s a massive team effort where several individuals work together to make it the electrifying show we love. Wrestlers put in crazy hours of training to make their fights look good and believable. Whether you end up as a top star or just another name on the roster depends a lot on how convincingly you can sell a fight.
Even the best of the best mess up sometimes, and that’s exactly what happened during last year’s Money in the Bank World Heavyweight Championship match between Damian Priest and Seth Rollins. After the fight, Triple H did his best to cover up the botch, but failed miserably.

In WWE, superstars often jump between Nxt, SmackDown, and Raw for different reasons. Sometimes, they switch brands to get a better spotlight; sometimes, it’s all about the storyline, starting a new feud, or adding some firepower to a brand.
Transfers usually happen during set windows, kind of like in other sports, but occasionally, they can go down outside of those periods, too. Championship belts move with wrestlers when they switch brands, which keeps things unpredictable. Transfer windows are always exciting for fans, it’s a chance to see unexpected rivalries and fresh matchups while giving wrestlers new opportunities to level up their careers.

Over the years, WWE has been working tirelessly to forge pro-wrestling in the word’s barest sense and has imparted a cinematic aura to it. When the storyline starts exhibiting a certain aspect between the superstars, the authority tends to add an element of drama by tweaking the stipulation.
Amidst the popular stipulations which has been a stern test for the WWE superstars include the likes of Hell in a Cell, Last Man Standing, I Quit, No Holds Barred, Survivor Series Elimination match, Steel Cage match, Barbed Wire Steel Cage match and the list simply goes on and on. With tensions running high between LA Knight and Damian Priest during the tag team match against United States Champion Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa, The Megastar turned the tables before Solo could hit the Samoan Spike and executed the Bft for the victory. After the match, Priest confronted Knight, and the two inevitably came to blows. This made it easy for The Samoan Werewolf to attack both Superstars. He forgot about Drew McIntyre, however, who emerged to take out the unhinged titleholder with a Claymore Kick one night before the United States Title Fatal 4-Way Match at WWE Backlash.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Alexa Bliss & Zelina Vega def.

The world of wrestling is shocked by the sad and untimely death of Sabu (Terry Brunk), who passed away on May 11, 2025, at the age of 60.
To his fans and peers, Sabu was a fearless trailblazer. He impacted the wrestling world through his high-flying, reckless moves and hardcore attitude. Barely weeks after officially hanging up the boots after a mentally and physically taxing match with Joey Janela, the wrestling world is mourning Sabu’s loss.
Sabu gave wrestling fans memories that will last a lifetime
Sabu gave us memories that still send chills up the spine to this day for fans. We’ve watched him leap onto John Cena, crashing him through a table with reckless abandon for whatever it was worth. Sabu used an Atomic Arabian Facebuster on The Sandman through a ladder to put an exclamation point on that feud.

WWE Backlash 2025 opened with the United States Championship match, in which we got a surprise debut from Jeff Cobb. Jacob Fatu was supposed to defend the title in a four-way against Damian Priest, Drew McIntyre, and LA Knight. It was down to Knight vs Fatu, and the former was clearly gaining the upper hand, when Solo Sikoa appeared to protect Fatu.
When Knight began chasing Sikoa around the ring, we got another figure enter from within the crowd at St. Louis. Cobb attacked Knight, making a fitting debut in the WWE programming.
Fatu wasn’t appreciative of the help from Cobb and Sikoa, but he capitalized on the opportunity and pinned Knight to retain the United States Championship. Here are 7 things you need to know about the new WWE signee, Cobb.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is one of the most successful wrestlers who has made a good name in the Hollywood industry. His debut in Hollywood in the early 2000s became a groundbreaking move for the wrestling industry, as many wrestlers like Bautista and John Cena followed in his footsteps and earned global recognition both as actors and as wrestlers.
Though all these names were top faces in the wrestling industry, they also nailed it in the Hollywood industry. There have been some wrestlers who were a part of one of the most successful franchises in the cinematic universe, Marvel. One such wrestler is Shad Gaspard, who got the opportunity to work alongside Chadwick Boseman.
Gaspard, a WWE wrestler and a member of the Cryme Tyme, also played a part in a movie, and that was Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther.

There are a few superstars who rewrite the bounds of physical punishment one can take in the squared circle. Back in WrestleMania 14, when Edge took on The Undertaker for the World Heavyweight title, that was a display of his extra-terrestrial endurance. The Rated-r Superstar was one of those hardcore legends who simply wouldn’t bend, no matter the challenge.
Edge’s legend in WWE is of the highest standards. His rivalries along the way hardened his stature in the company and his dominance as the World Heavyweight champion, while playing out one of the hated heels of all time, is simply a testimony to his greatness. However, things went downhill for the big man who popped up on the screens of Aew, following the footsteps of his childhood friend, Christian, after a fine re-run with WWE ever since his return.
Has Edge’s time at WWE come to an end?...

Welcome to the dark side of history, as in one of the most polarizing finishes in WWE WrestleMania history, John Cena pinned Cody Rhodes to become WWE Champion for the 17th time—breaking Ric Flair’s long-standing record. But this wasn’t the feel-good moment some expected. Cena didn’t do it with hustle, loyalty, and respect. He did it with a low blow, a stolen title belt, and a timely assist from Travis Scott. From the moment Cena walked out with a cold stare and none of his usual theatrics, the vibe was different. No towel toss, no salute. Just business. Cody, meanwhile, rolled in with dirt bikes, a skull helmet, and his entire family front row. And they went home disappointed.
Early on, Cena played mind games. He was smug, slow, dismissive. And when Cody began to mount a comeback, Cena upped the intensity, dropping him with multiple...

WWE has been bringing in talent from the outside entertainment world into their landscape for years. In recent memory, many of those stars have been doing extended stints as in-ring performers for the company and have proven their worth to stand toe-to-toe with the talented athletes on the roster.

WWE superstars have rocked some incredible tattoos over the years. Whether it is Roman Reigns’ tribal motif, spanning all the way from his back to his right peck, or The Rock, who has got a massive skull inked onto his right hand, the company does have superstars who have made their skin a living canvas.
In recent times, there has been a rise in the number of inked superstars, and truth be told, the designs simply get crazier. If you ask any WWE fan about the most viewed segment in the promotion’s history, there is a high chance that the epic fight between Brock Lesnar and John Cena will be the answer. But what if I tell you that they are completely wrong, then what comes to your mind next?
The most viewed WWE segment is not the brawl that cleared the entire WWE locker room, but an R-rated moment that involves Randy Orton and the daughter of WWE’s former CEO, Vince McMahon.
Randy Orton | credit-wwe Randy Orton kissing Stephanie McMahon became the most-viewed WWE segment
This was before the PG-13 era, and WWE was answerable to none for their content; wild and vulgar segments were popular and common at that point. However, there was one segment that crossed all limits of obscenity and would have easily resulted in the promotion getting banned if it aired in today’s society.

When John Cena turned heel and shocked the entire WWE universe, many fans were quick to claim that it was the most villainous moment in WWE’s history but Damian Priest wasn’t one of them.
In a recent interview, WWE star Damian Priest claimed that he does not consider John Cena turning heel and betraying Cody Rhodes to be the most villainous moment in WWE.
Instead, he labeled the shocking moment where Randy Orton took advantage of an unconscious Stephanie McMahon in front of Triple H, as the most evil or villainous one in WWE’s history.

Vince McMahon was considered one of the most powerful individuals in the world of professional wrestling. His prominence came by building WWE into a global giant and making it a worldwide phenomenon. Even when he is not there anymore in the company, WWE commands a bigger presence around the world.
During his time as WWE Chairman and CEO, Vince McMahon was very much hands-on with the television programming and creative bookings. He was known to make last-minute changes to the shows and creative storylines. One of those instances was the company’s premier event, WrestleMania 39.
