After being raised in a small town in Alaska, Michael Downing went on to graduate from USC's Business and Cinematic Arts (BCA) program with a focus in producing. Downing won the 2019 USC First Look Faculty Producing Award, which is the highest producing honor at USC. His producing credits include films as UNDER DARKNESS (Winner: Horizon award at Sundance Film Festival, Finalist: Student Academy Awards, Official Selection: Telluride Film Festival), HERE AND BEYOND (Official Selection: Fantasia Festival), THE LAST WHISTLE (theatrical debut June 2019), and the upcoming Film Independent sponsored film SURVIVAL SKILLS. He also previously produced the music video NOT COOL by More Giraffes (Billboard featured) and the VR short film THEATRE IN THE ROUND (Jaunt VR Sponsored). Downing previously interned at prestigious entertainment companies such as Lin Pictures, Illumination Entertainment, Sierra/Affinity, Amazon Studios, and eOne. His goal is to assist filmmakers in creating and promoting impactful stories to audiences across the world.
