News that former President Joe Biden has been diagnosed with an aggressive prostate cancer came as a surprise on Sunday, adding fuel to conversation about the state of the former president’s health in the waning months of his presidency. While well wishes, speculation, and clamor for more details abound, some of the Maga right’s most prominent voices are chomping at the bit to turn Biden’s diagnoses into a political side show.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), who has failed to follow the science for much of the pandemic, on Wednesday called Omicron, the Covid-19 variant responsible for record-setting number of positive cases, “nature’s vaccine” during an interview with Fox & Friends.
“We’ve got 150 million people in our country that have already had this,” he said. “Now in the last couple of weeks, we’re adding millions of people every week who have already gotten this. And the one thing we know is if you get this mild variant, the Omicron, it...

Covid-19 has now killed over 800,000 people in the United States. The nation crossed the threshold earlier this week, just in time for a Fox News medical corresponded to suggest America should do away with mandates and go ahead and let the new variant of the disease, Omicron, “circulate.”
“We should be able to move forward allowing the fact the virus is causing very mild illness in people who are vaccinated and younger populations, including those people who have become boosted,” Dr. Nicole Saphier, a radiologist, said Wednesday on Fox News.

Sinclair Broadcast Group has dropped plans to air a segment that included a doctor who has advanced the conspiracy theory that Dr. Anthony Fauci was responsible for the creation of the coronavirus.
The segment was to be featured on Eric Bolling’s America This Week. It featured an interview with Judy Mikovits, a medical researcher who was featured in a conspiracy video called The Plandemic.
“Upon further review, we have decided not to air the interview with Dr. Mikovits,” Sinclair said on Monday. “Although the segment did include an expert to dispute Dr. Mikovits, given the nature of the theories she presented we believe it is not appropriate to air the interview.”
“We also reiterate our appreciation for all that Dr. Fauci and his team have accomplished for the health and wellbeing of Americans and people worldwide. During this pandemic, Sinclair and its affiliates have positively and prominently featured Dr.

Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly and former CNN anchor Soledad O’Brien sparred on Twitter Monday after Kelly defended Fox News meteorologist Janice Dean’s criticism of New York State’s response to the coronavirus.
It all began Saturday when Dean tweeted a response to an interview with Dr. Anthony Fauci in which he said New York handled the pandemic “correctly.” Dean posted, “This is garbage.” She followed that up with a tweet on the state’s death tolls: “Sorry Dr. Fauci. 32,000 deaths. 6,000 seniors? Nope.”
O’Brien shared Dean’s original tweet, captioning it, “Meteorologist weighs in.”

Streaming-video hub Fox Nation is opening its borders – to advertisers.
The Fox News subscription service will offer marketers the chance to embed their products in some of its programs, which have in the recent past included a crime series led by Nancy Grace, a documentary series hosted by former CBS News correspondent Lara Logan, and a cooking show built around “Fox & Friends” host Steve Doocy. Fox Nation will not run traditional TV ads, says Jeff Collins, executive vice president of ad sales at Fox News Media, but will work with potential sponsors so they are aware of Fox Nation programming “early in the development process” and can collaborate on ways to place products in specific shows.
“We would do product placement in programming where it is appropriate that would appear within Fox Nation, but we would also be able to turn it into a Sunday night on Fox News – special...

Fox News contributor Dr. Nicole Saphier tweeted about the very real need for ventilators one day after President Donald Trump questioned how many were really needed to battle Coronavirus on the network.
“Regardless of what anyone says, ventilators are low in supply and we need as many as we can possibly get while we continue to #SlowTheSpread,” the doctor tweeted.
Thursday night on “Hannity,” Trump cast doubt on the numbers of needed ventilators being quoted by American governors, particularly New York’s Andrew Cuomo.

“I have a feeling that a lot of the numbers that are being said in some areas are just bigger than they’re going to be. I don’t believe you need 40,000 or 30,000 ventilators. You know, you go into major hospitals sometimes and they’ll have two ventilators...
