Following the conclusion of Fukuda's My Dress-Up Darling manga in Square Enix's Young Gangan, the anime's staff offered their congratulations and well-wishes, including series director Keisuke Shinohara. "Thank you Fukuda-sensei for completing the serialization of Kisekoi! I still can't believe Kisekoi is ending," he said. "I'm so sad. I received so much through this work. After 7 years of publication, the original My Dress-Up Darling manga is set to complete its serialization, with author Shinichi Fukuda's next chapter to be its last.
Via MangaAlerts on X (formerly Twitter), Shinichi Fukuda's My Dress-Up Darling manga series will sadly end on March 21, 2025, with next month's Young Gangan release. The announcement comes three years after the sequel was initially revealed on Sep 17, 2022.

As mentioned last year, it seems that anime are experiencing another golden era, which started in 2021 and continued in full bloom in 2022.
