Season 26 of The Voice has been one of the most emotionally charged in recent memory, and that continued on Tuesday’s (November 26) episode when Sloane Simon took to the stage just days after her dad died. After Reba McEntire and Snoop Dogg were brought to tears by contestant Jeremy Beloate on Monday night (November 25), Simon had the whole panel welling up when she revealed her father had died in the days leading up to her performance. During the rehearsal, Simon opened up about how her dad was fighting cancer. Her coach, Michael Bublé, began to tear up as he remembered going through something similar when his son, Noah (11), was diagnosed with liver cancer in 2016. Noah is now in remission. “I went through my own personal thing when my son got sick, and I couldn’t get through it,” Bublé told Simon. “I just couldn’t, and that’s okay. Like you said,...

Tonight on “The Voice,” the Playoffs concluded with performances from Team Michael Buble with special guest advisor country artist Carly Pearce. In this round of the competition, each coach must narrow down their team of five to only two artists that they’ll take to the live shows beginning Dec. 2. Rapper Mgk advised Gwen Stefani in “The Playoffs Premiere” on Nov. 19 while Olympian Simone Biles helped out Snoop Dogg and country artist Lainey Wilson assisted Reba McEntire in “The Playoffs Part 2” on Nov. 25.
In rehearsals, Michael thought Shye‘s song choice of “Story of My Life” by One Direction was a great pick because it’s “unexpected.” Carly explained that she can create “magic” with that song by “leaning in” to the way her vocal storytelling makes it seem like she’s “lived so much life.” Carly thought that her voice is “one in a million” and she doesn’t...

The Voice teed up a mixed bag Monday, kicking off Season 26’s Battles with four eliminations, two Steals and at least one matchup that was heaven-sent. Read on, and we’ll discuss it all!
Team Snoop: Christina Eagle (Grade: A+) defeated Gail Bliss (Grade: A) on “Redneck Woman” | Though the country singers were exceedingly well-matched on their rollicking Gretchen Wilson cover, I had to give the edge, however slight, to Christina. Gail sounded radio-ready and record-perfect, but so did her opponent — and her opponent has the more interesting voice.

Tonight on “The Voice,” coaches Michael Buble, Snoop Dogg, Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani sat for Part 6 of the Blind Auditions round of season 26. Michael began the night with three open spots on his team while the other three teams each had two spots to fill. Over the course of the night, each of those spots were claimed by an artist and all four coaches completed their teams of 14.
Among the artists picked up in this final night of the round were two more four-chair turn auditions, for a season total of a whopping 17. The final two were Katie O with “One Way Ticket (Because I Can)” who chose Reba and Jose Luis who chose Gwen after singing “traitor.” Jose was Team Gwen’s 14th artist, making her the first coach to complete a team. Tonight on “The Voice,” coaches Michael Buble, Snoop Dogg, Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani sat for Part 5 of the Blind Auditions round of season 26. Typically in this stage of the competition the coaches are fiercely competitive and creative in their pitches to get artists to choose to be on their team. First time coach Snoop’s creative juices were really flowing when he stopped arguing for Kay Sibal to join his team and instead advocated for her to join Team Gwen.
Though Kay was not a four chair turn (Reba said she had no chance against the other three coaches), she received some of the most glowing critiques of the night following her audition to “From the Start.” Snoop told her that he loved the “jazziness” of her performance and how she broke down the pieces of the song. He also noted her confidence and excitement on stage as reasons why he turned his chair.

The Voice judge Gwen Stefani is very competitive when it comes to landing talent for her team, and nothing is off limits for her when it’s time to secure the top-tier talent, as viewers saw in recent scenes.
The Voice Is Back For An All-New Season
The reality singing competition is currently back on the air with Season 26. The judges are in the middle of sorting through the best talent, as the blind auditions continue. This is the point in the competition where both the judges and the viewers get the first taste of the talent pool on offer.
Due to this, this is the ideal time to see who will make the cut and get one of the chairs to turn around. This season on The Voice, competitors hope to impress Gwen Stefani, Michael Buble, Reba McEntire, and Snoop Dogg. Getting even one judge to turn their chair could be life-changing.

Tonight on “The Voice,” coaches Michael Buble, Snoop Dogg, Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani sat for Part 4 of the Blind Auditions round of season 26. In the first three parts, the coaches competed 10 times for the same artist in “four chair turn” moments and tonight they only battled across the dais twice. In the first of the night, 25 year old Gabrielle Zabosky auditioned with “Mr. Know It All” in a highlight performance of the evening that likely became a lowlight for Snoop.
It wasn’t until the tail-end of Gabrielle’s performance that any of the coaches hit their button. It started with Reba, who in hitting her button also blocked Snoop, and then in very quick succession Snoop, Gwen and Michael all hit theirs as well. In that moment, Gabrielle broke her vocal with an endearing squeal, jumping up and down at the realization that she earned a spot on a team.

Reba McEntire may have handed out The Voice’s trophy in Monday’s episode (recapped here), but the battle hasn’t even begun, much less the war. On Night 4 of the Blind Auditions, Snoop Dogg recruited a hot swinger, Michael Bublé scored a contestant who could be the next Todd Tilghman, and Gwen Stefani added to her team a youngster whose vocals are as sweet as her demeanor.
