Sholpan Dzhandarbekova was born on 2 January 1923 in aul Milybulak, Semipalatinsk province, Turkestan ASSR, Soviet Union (now Semey province, East Kazakhstan Region, Kazakhstan). She was an actress, known for A Poem About Love (1954), Pesni Abaya (1946) and Daughter of the Steppes (1955). She died on 14 September 2005 in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
