A new episode of our What Happened to This Horror Movie? video series has just been released, and with this one we’re looking into the 2022 addition to the Predator franchise, Prey, which was released through the Hulu streaming service. Check out the video embedded above to hear all about it!

Dark Winds and Blood Quantum actor Kiowa Gordon and Sera-Lys McArthur (Café Daughter, Outlander) have joined the cast of Many Wounds, a contemporary re-imagining of Lee Tamahori’s ground-breaking 1994 Maori film Once Were Warriors, set among indigenous communities in Canada.

Skye Pelletier (Prey) stars in Many Wounds as Mashka, a young teenager on the cusp of being swallowed up by a colonial system meant to further the goals of assimilation who becomes a warrior to protect his family.

Ojibway filmmaker Jeremy Torrie, who wrote and is directing Many Wounds, and producing the film together with Métis producer Tanya Brunel, said he drew on his own personal, painful experiences growing up indigenous in Winnipeg for the script.

Want to spend $395 on a sixth scale figure of the iconic Predator as seen in Prey, the latest entry in the Predator franchise? Sideshow has you covered. The company is currently accepting pre-orders (at This Link) for just such a figure, a collaboration between Sideshow and Hot Toys. Ever since Prey, the latest entry in the Predator franchise, was released through the Hulu streaming service last August, fans who collect physical media have been anxiously waiting to hear if or when the movie would be receiving a physical media release. Now it has been officially announced that Prey is finally going to reach 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD on October 3rd! All formats will include a full-length Comanche audio track. A collector’s edition 4K steelbook with artwork designed by Attila Szarka will be available exclusively at Best Buy.

August 5th will mark the one year anniversary of the Hulu release of the latest film in the Predator franchise, Prey – and to celebrate, Neca will be releasing a 7″ action figure of the film’s “Feral Predator”! Two years have gone by since we’ve shared any news about the Predator: Hunting Grounds video game – but it has caught our attention that the game has a cool update coming “later this month” for fans of the new Predator movie Prey, which was released through the Hulu streaming service at the beginning of August. The bone mask that was worn by the Predator in Prey is being added to the game!
