Bukola Ayoka

Bukola Ayoka is a Canadian artist born to Jamaican and Nigerian parents. Bukola (which means "adding to joy" in Yoruba) began musical theatre and ballet at age 6, and spent her adolescence competing with theatre and dance teams. Bukola earned a Bachelor of Arts with a Specialist in Cinema Studies from the University of Toronto, and in 2018 she began her career in Film & TV. Bukola has since worked alongside actors such as Diane Lane and Dylan Sprouse, and directors such as Cheryl Dunye and Director X. In 2023, Bukola joined the cast of Global TV's one hour action-drama Robyn Hood, and is Leading a feature film set to be released spring 2024. Off-screen, Bukola finds joy in writing, and expressing herself through music.
