When "Wicked" dropped last winter, conversations about the movie's performances understandably focused on Cynthia Erivo's show-stopping screen presence as Elphaba and Ariana Grande's fine-tuned take on Glinda. The two deserved to be the center of attention, but now that "Wicked" fever has cooled ever so slightly (and Grande and Erivo have both been nominated for Oscars), it's only fair to obsess a bit over some of the movie's many other great casting decisions. Among the best? Olivier Award-winning actor Jonathan Bailey as the popular, initially shallow object of both witches' affections, Fiyero.
The Fiyero role has long-since been a key one in productions of "Wicked," with everyone from Taye Diggs to Aaron Tveit to Adam Lambert taking a crack at the part at one time or another (Tony winner Norbert Leo Butz originated the role in 2003). Bailey, who has tons of stage experience and several star-making TV roles under his belt,...

The cast of Amazon’s upcoming horror series I Know What you Did Last Summer got a pleasant surprise during the series’ New York Comic Con panel Friday as the stars of the original 1997 film dropped by for some quick “fan questions.”
While appearances by Freddie Prinze Jr., Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillippe and Jennifer Love Hewitt were pleasant surprises for the Nycc audience, their words of encouragement and excitement meant more for the talent and creative team of the upcoming show.
“It feels like they’ve given us their blessing; that’s hugely meaningful to me and to all of us,” said showrunner Sarah Goodman. “The last thing we want to do is undermine what they’ve created. We moved to the next generation with full respect to the movie and to the actors that are in it.”

Can you believe Victoria Justice has been in the Hollywood spotlight for almost two decades? The 28-year-old star got her big break with a role on Nickelodeon's Zoey 101 in 2005, later appearing in iCarly, and starring in Victorious until 2013. Over the years, she's made more than a few memorable red carpet appearances, growing up before our eyes, and now she's starring in Netflix's new comedy Afterlife of the Party, alongside Midori Francis and Spencer Sutherland. In honor of the premiere of Afterlife of the Party, let's take a walk down memory lane and look back at Victoria's Hollywood evolution in pictures.

"You have a whole world out there and you are missing it!" Netflix has unveiled the official trailer for a quirky comedy called Afterlife of the Party, featuring Victoria Justice as a "party planner and social butterfly" who heads to the afterlife after a birthday accident. Most surprisingly, this is a new film directed by the director of such classics as Critters, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead, The Mighty Ducks, The Three Musketeers, and Mr. Holland's Opus. Though he hasn't made much of a mark in the last decade. After finding herself in the afterlife, Cassie is given a second chance to right her wrongs on Earth within five days by reconnecting with loved ones, and most importantly, prove she's worthy enough to get into the big VIP room in the sky. Justice stars with Midori Francis, Robyn Scott, Adam Garcia, Timothy Renouf, Gloria Garcia,...

It's been a while since anything was mentioned about the I Know What You Did Last Summer TV show, but thanks to Amazon's Comic-Con@Home panel, showrunner Sara Goodman teased what can be expected from the James Wan produced series which we now know will hit Amazon Prime Video in October 2021. It is around six months ago that news arrived of who would be starring in the series, including Madison Iseman, Biranne Tju, Sonya Balmores and Spencer Sutherland, but that was the last bit of information until today's announcement.
Sara Goodman called the Amazon Prime series "real, dysfunctional and completely unpredictable." While that sounds great, unpredictability in anything that has its base rooted in an older franchise usually means that changes have been made, and fans of any older franchise really don't like change. However, she also promised that the show would have "a lot of blood, violence and psychological...
