‘Aew: Collision’ Review (Apr 17th 2025)
Image
Welcome to this week’s review of Aew’s, Collision, which brings wrestling back to Saturday nights. We’ve got the commentary team of Tony Schiavone, and Nigel McGuiness calling the action, so let’s get into our review!

Match #1: Kevin Knight def. Lance Archer The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:

Archer charged at Knight before the bell rang. Archer rammed Kevin into the video board. Kevin Knight fired back with a shotgun dropkick and then a moonsault. Kevin pulled Archer down with a hurracanrana. Archer ran out of the corner with a lariat, turning Knight inside out! Don Callis grabbed Kevin Knight’s ankle long enough to distract him and buy Archer some time. Archer swung Kevin by the legs into the steel ring steps! Archer clocked Knight with a vicious forearm. Archer sent Kevin Knight for a ride with a back suplex. Archer was looking for the Black Out,...

‘Aew: Dark’ Review (July 6th 2021)
Image
Welcome to this weeks review of Aew: Dark, I’m Phil and this is the last episode of Dark before Aew go back on the post-Covid road… Which means we might not be seeing some of the extras/enhancement talent going forward, which makes me sad. Anyway on with the review.

Match #1: Lance Archer def. Ryan Mantell

My Thoughts: Archer didin’t go ham on Ryan Mantell, giving the debuting wrestler a chance to show off before getting pummeled by Archer for the win. Made a real change seeing Archer wrestle for a little bit rather than just throw his opponent around the ring.

My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Qt Marshall & Aaron Solow def. Terrell & Terence Hughes

My Thoughts: Terrell & Terence Hughes got in some decent moves in this match, usually against Solow, but you just knew that Marshall was Not going to lose this one, even if...

‘Aew: Dark’ Review (Jun 22nd 2021)
Image
Welcome to this weeks episode of Aew: Dark, I’m editor Phil and let’s not mess around with extraneous introductory waffle and let’s just jump straight into this weeks episode!

Match #1: Lance Archer def. Rex Lawless

My Thoughts: Well this one went on longer than expected for a Lance Archer squash match! Still this one didn’t go longer than two minutes with Archer eventually hitting the Blackout of Lawless for the win. Nice to see Archer taking on someone slightly bigger than normal too… seems unfair to have him throwing little guys around all the time.

My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Brian Pillman Jr. def. Bear Bronson

My Thoughts: I honestly didn’t know what to expect going into this one. After all Bear Bronson is a big guy and Pillman isn’t. I know I didn’t expect Pillman Jr. to win with a crossbody,...

‘Impact Wrestling: Final Resolution 2020’ PPV Review
Image
Welcome to this review of Final Resolution 2020, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have Little Women…they’re small! Petite as the day is long…Little Women! Bobbos like a bouncy ball…Little Women! I like them ‘cuz they make my crotch feel five miles long…Little Women! That was a proposed theme song for Great Gerwig’s version of Little Women that was never used… I wonder why it was never used? I like it! It’s catchy! Well, we have Rich Swann versus Chris Bey for the Impact World Title, so let’s get down to it.

Match #1: Tommy Dreamer def Larry D – Old School Rules The following is courtesy of impactwrestling.com:

Larry’s Xxxl tag partner, Acey Romero, attacks Dreamer from behind. Things are looking bad for Dreamer when John E Bravo makes his way in an attempt to make the save.

‘Impact Wrestling’ Review (Nov 24th 2020)
Image
Welcome to this week’s Impact Wrestling review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have more wrestling to talk about on the compunet. The interputer has brought us together to find out who killed John E Br…aw, who gives a s—t? I don’t come on to the Impucom just to talk about male soap opera s—t. I want some damn wrestling. My computop deserves the best, not the rest. Why don’t we get on with this puternet business and review some wrestling, you c—k-sucker? I…screw it. Here:

Greetings lemmings! “Smart” Mark D. Mark here to take over for Nathan, whose menstrual cycle is gushing more blood than his mother’s head when she shot herself to get away from her loser son. I kid! She hung herself. Nathan cries himself to sleep and this review begins, yon feeble mortal!

‘Nwa Powerrr: Super Powerrr’ Review (May 12th 2020)
Image
Welcome to this season finale of the National Wrestling Alliance’s Powerrr with a special called Super Powerrr. I’m Nathan Favel and you’re on Nerdly, which has been sheltering me ever since I escaped from prison for trying to kill Superman for wearing red underwear over his pants…Like The Doofus That He Is! In the name of the great crab god Metusukla, I hereby claim this review to be…Written!!!! Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahah!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Match #1: Kamille defeated Maddie Max

My Opinion: 2 out of 5 – Bill Cosby’s wife has to make the bail money some-how. Kamille! Kamille! I don’t want to be in prison! There’s no pudding for the pudding pop! There’s no Kodak film! Neither woman looked bad here, but I wanted more time on the clock, especially for a season finale match.

Match #2: The Rock & Roll Express defeated Aron Stevens & The Question Mark

My...

‘Nwa Powerrr’ Review (Jan 14th 2020)
Welcome to this week’s National Wrestling Alliance: Powerrr review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and I look just like Aisha Tyler. Let’s make some s— up…like I just did.

Match #1: Zane Dawson defeated Dave Dawson – National Wrestling Alliance TV Title Tournament Match

My Opinion: 2.1 out of 5 – This wasn’t much other than a lot of talking. There were some slams and all that stuff, but you can skip this sucker.

Match #2: Melina defeated Ashley Vox

My Opinion: 2.6 out of 5 – Melina did well here and looked pretty tough over-all. Vox looks like she could rip some-one in half, which ain’t bad for this sport. This was waaaaaaaaaaaay too short. Why are these matches so f—— short? Do you wanna watch a show of three minute matches? Do you have a short attention span? Are you a pigeon? Am I just writing all...
