Jonathan Jackson’s Lucky may have left Port Charles behind on General Hospital, but his love of performing is still going strong. The actor reunited with his former Nashville co-star, Clare Bowen, to do a series of live shows on the East Coast. The pair stopped into the Stress Factory in New Brunswick, NJ and wowed the crowd with songs and storytelling.
Hitting The Road
Lucky recently departed with his son Aiden (Colin Cassidy) after returning to Gh in August of 2024. The commute between Los Angeles, where the show tapes, and Jackson’s home in Tennessee was the reason given for his departure. Fans were excited to see the actor return to the canvas, with some expressing disappointment when his return did not last as long as they had hoped.
Watch Now: Dive into the drama with SoapHub Says.
The actor was recently nominated for a Daytime Emmy in the Outstanding Supporting Actor category.

Andrea Gibson, a celebrated poet and performance artist who through their verse explored gender identity, politics and their 4-year battle with terminal ovarian cancer, died Monday at age 49.
Gibson’s death was announced on social media by their wife, Megan Falley. Gibson and Falley are the main subjects of the documentary Come See Me in the Good Light, winner of the Festival Favorite Award this year at the Sundance Film Festival and scheduled to air this fall on Apple TV+.
“Andrea Gibson died in their home (in Boulder, Colorado) surrounded by their wife, Meg, four ex-girlfriends, their mother and father, dozens of friends, and their three beloved dogs,” Monday’s announcement reads in part.
The film — exploring the couple’s enduring love as Gibson battles cancer — is directed by Ryan White and includes an original song written by Gibson, Sara Bareilles and Brandi Carlile. During a screening at Sundance in...

General Hospital spoilers report Port Charles is alight with romance and intrigue, and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) are basking in their rekindled chemistry, with tender moments signaling a full-blown reunion. But Elizabeth’s lingering fear that Lucky might vanish again, as he did years ago, casts a shadow over their happiness.
Now, Lucky is on a mission to expose Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Ric Lansing’s (Rick Hearst) extortion plot against Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), fueled by their knowledge of Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) cutting Ric’s brake lines, which caused their near-fatal accident.
If Lucky’s bold takedown backfires, will it shatter Elizabeth’s trust and derail their romance, or can he prove he’s in Port Charles for good?
Lucky’s Crusade Risks Everything

Antlers' ending twist and mythology sets up a sequel that hasn't come to pass. The horror film, directed by Scott Cooper, faced plenty of delays before finally releasing to theaters. Starring Keri Russell and Jesse Plemons, Antlers is a film that explores a creature from Indigenous lore, and the darkness lurking inside humanity as well.
Produced by Guillermo del Toro, Antlers follows Julia Meadows, a middle school teacher in Oregon who grows concerned about the wellbeing of Lucas, one of her students. Along with her brother Paul, the local sheriff, Julia attempts to figure out whats really going on with Lucas, what happened to his father and brother, and exactly what supernatural creature (a wendigo) is out for blood and wreaking havoc. The horror film is disquieting as it builds towards its finale, allowing for a couple of shocking and heartbreaking subplots that change the direction of Antlers ending.

A Homeless Ballet Dancer Prepares for a Life-Altering Audition in Jason Hogan’s Tense Drama ‘Twenty’
What I really like about Jason Hogan’s tense dance drama Twenty is how he manages to present the intensity of his protagonist’s journey through lead actor Lydia Brayshaw’s vulnerable performance and the close-quarters camerawork that captures her. The story follows Emily, a homeless ballet dancer who’s offered the chance at a life-altering audition. Hogan’s film portrays Emily’s split experience, showing both the audition itself and the day that proceeds it – a juxtaposition which offers an intimate insight into not just the pressure of the ballet world but the difficulties of getting by generally in daily life. It’s an intense short but one we’re delighted to be premiering online for a limited two week release. After watching the short below you can read our interview with Hogan where he talks us through the alternating looks he wanted to give the different time periods...

Lucky Spencer is back on General Hospital. Well, not in Port Charles, but on-screen, which is halfway there. He is somewhere in Africa, rescuing a doctor via a plan…he has yet to come up with. But Lucky is an in-the-moment kind of guy. Like his late dad. And his mom, too. Luke and Laura’s adventures are legendary. Now Lucky is on a wacky caper of his own. But should he really be doing it all on his own?
Remember When

Lucky Spencer has certainly lived up to his name over the years on General Hospital. Lucky, the offspring of the legendary Luke and Laura, wasn’t born on screen, but we saw him when the dynamic couple returned to the show in 1993. The character originated by Jonathan Jackson, who grew up before us. Jacob Young later portrayed him from 2000 to 2003, and then by Greg Vaughan from 2003 to 2009. With Jackson’s return to Gh, it’s time we looked at what Lucky was up to over the years.
Childhood on the Run
Luke (Anthony Geary) and Laura (Genie Francis) had been on the run from evil mobster Frank Smith (then Mitchell Ryan), during which time they had Lucky. After Frank’s goons caught up to them in Canada, the couple sent their son off to Port Charles for safety while they lured the minions off of his trail. Luke’s aunt...

Harrison Ford is all set to return to the big screens with Captain America: Brave New World, and this time, his role is much different than anything fans have ever seen him as before. While he has embodied one or two bad-guy roles before, this one, which will notably mark his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will show him seeing red as Thunderbolt Ross.

But since this one’s a new theme for him to jump in, some couldn’t help but make one comparison between his character in Marvel and that of Indiana Jones in the iconic titular saga. And, hilariously enough and in true Ford manner, the only response the actor has for this comparison is “complete disdain,” as he made evident during the recently held Comic-Con 2024 panel.

A Big Brother 26 showmance should get lots of airtime during upcoming episodes.
While the pre-taped season premiere was debuting on CBS, a showmance was already forming in the Big Brother house.
Makensy Manbeck, a construction project manager from Houston, Texas, noted that she wouldn’t mind being in a showmance. Consider that goal checked off.
Makensy has eyes for Matt Hardeman, a tech sales rep from Roswell, Georgia.
The duo has hit it off during the first week of the season, so much so that they have become a verbal target of other houseguests.
It’s unclear if the Matt and Makensy on-again, off-again showmance will last the summer, but it’s likely to be featured on an upcoming episode(s).

General Hospital spoilers tease that Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) is slowly saying goodbye to her children as they grow up and move on.
Cameron Webber (William Lipton) moved to California for school last year after his relationship with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) fell apart. Now, Elizabeth’s middle son, Jake Webber (Hudson West) is about to go to school in Spain to study art.
That leaves her youngest, Aiden Webber (Tristan Riggs) as her only child still living at home. But things may still become complicated because Aiden’s father, Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) is on his way home.

The Watch Dogs series debuted way back in 2014 with a titular game, which put technological vigilantism front and center in a fictionalized version of Chicago. The first title was iconic, however, Watch Dogs 2 and Watch Dogs Legion failed to live up to the expectations and fell flat.
Due to the underwhelming commercial performance of the recent games, Ubisoft canceled several projects related to the franchise. It seemed like the franchise was completely dead, but with the movie adaptation finally hitting production, there’s still hope for the franchise.

Kareem's future as the warden in Kingstown Prison is uncertain as conflict with Mike McLusky escalates. Creator Hugh Dillon praises Michael Beach's performance, hinting at a compelling arc for Kareem in Season 3. Mayor of Kingstown delves into themes of corruption and inequality in a town dominated by the incarceration industry.
Kareem's future remains in doubt as Mayor of Kingstown season 3 progresses. A major character in the Kingstown Prison, Kareem is played by Michael Beach and has appeared in every season so far. He rose to become the warden of his prison, which came with new responsibilities and a new reliance on Mike McLusky. He rose to become the warden of his prison, which came with new responsibilities and a new reliance on Mike McLusky. Unfortunately, the two regularly come into conflict, as Kareem has little interest in working with an outside force to keep peace within the prison. The current season is continuing that story arc. New Kingstown season 3 episodes are available every Sunday on Paramount+.

Jeremy Renner's return to Mayor of Kingstown after a devastating accident is a testament to his determination and transformation. Hugh Dillon reflects on Renner's physical and emotional journey post-accident and praises his resilience and commitment to the show. Renner's dedication to doing his own stunts and his drive to prove himself again have impressed Dillon and the crew of Mayor of Kingstown.
Mayor of Kingstown creator Hugh Dillon is still honored to have witnessed Jeremy Renner's return after his devastating snowplow accident. The show features Renner as its star. He plays Mike McLusky, who has rules in Kingstowns, Michigan. Kingstown is a bizarre city where its prison remains the only aspect of the city that is still profitable. After Renner's accident in January 2023, it was uncertain if he could ever return to acting, let alone the show. Renner has now returned to Mayor of Kingstown, and the rest...

Through two episodes, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live has proven to be just what the long-running zombie franchise needed to recalibrate.
A big part of the show’s success is its ability to fill in the gaps about what happened to Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira) after they departed the main series several years ago.

Warning: spoilers ahead for The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live episode 2.
The Walking Dead: Dead City killed off many of its new characters shortly after introducing them, simply to keep the focus on Maggie and Negan. The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live continues this trope with Okafor and Nat - especially the latter. Nat had much more to give The Walking Dead universe.
An unfortunate trend gets reanimated in The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, as a likable spinoff character quickly bites the dust. The landscape of AMC's zombie apocalypse franchise has changed since The Walking Dead's ending in season 11, with the narrative now divided across three spinoffs: Dead City, Daryl Dixon, and The Ones Who Live. Because each release focuses on just one or two The Walking Dead characters rather than a larger ensemble, the spinoffs utilize a markedly different storytelling style. Changing the...

Taylor Swift is many things: a pop sensation, producer, actor, songwriter, football fan, and more. Do you know what she’s not? T-Swift is not the mysterious author behind the Argylle novel that inspired Matthew Vaughn’s upcoming spy thriller for Apple. Rumors about Tay-Tay being the author “Elly Conway,” a pseudonym for the writer whose manuscript paved the way for the reported 200 million dollar deal for the film rights, have been swirling on social media for months.

We’re still a month out from the release of Argylle, but director Matthew Vaughn already has a few sequels in mind.
Of course, this all depends on how Argylle is received, but Vaughn told Total Film that he has the next two sequels mapped out. “Book one is about: how did Argylle become a spy? That will be the next film,” Vaughn said. “And then Argylle 2 is – I don’t want to give it all away, but there’s the young Argylle, and that becomes Henry, because Henry loves the idea of doing a proper Argylle movie as well.” Once the mysteries of Argylle are fully revealed, we might have a better idea of what these sequels could be, but if no one turns up for the first movie, it could remain buried. “Everybody complains there’s not enough original stuff, but it’s because they don’t go see it,...

Matthew Vaughn’s Argylle seems to be full of mysteries, but the movie has all the makings of a highly entertaining spy caper, albeit with something of a meta-twist. Henry Cavill stars as Agent Argylle, a fictional character created by author Elly Conway (Bryce Dallas Howard), but in the movie’s first major action sequence, she envisions Argylle saving her, with his image flashing back and forth with her actual protector, Aiden Wilde (Sam Rockwell).
Henry Cavill spoke with Entertainment Weekly about the action sequence, which required both actors to film the entirety of the scene so that director Matthew Vaughn could intercut between the two at will.
“Sam and I were watching each other and just trying to make sure that we had a similarity of movements,” Cavill said. “Certain movements worked better for him, so I would mimic those, and then different movements in other places worked better for me,...

Combining the rounded, comical visuals of Aardman and Wes Anderson with the emotional density of Charlie Kaufman, Ryan Oligmueller’s graduate short Creature Comfort is a rich stop motion treat. The story follows a lonely creature, who spends their time wandering through the woods looking for clues about who they may have been in a past life with each secret they uncover sparking a vision of a human who is facing tough mental struggles. Don’t be blindsided by the intricately crafted cute visuals, Oligmueller’s work highlights how animation can be a powerful tool in conveying the melancholy of the human condition. With the short recently arriving online, Dn caught up with Oligmueller to go over the time-intensive journey of making it, the collaborators he brought on board to create the distinctive character models, and the overwhelming feeling of seeing those first few frames come to life.

Days of Our Lives is two years away from its 60th anniversary!
According to Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 11-06-23, this year's celebration will include John and Marlena celebrating their special day and Maggie reminiscing about Victor.
There's also plenty of drama ahead, thanks to someone stabbing Li in the back and Sloan's desperation for a baby.
If you're not a Jarlena fan, you might not be thrilled with this anniversary celebration. Still, John and Marlena are some of the longest-running characters on the series, and their anniversary falls on the same day as the show's.
Plus, there's not enough romance in Salem these days. John and Marlena will share some sexy time, but they will also bring some real romance -- not the race to the bedroom everyone else seems to engage in.
The pair will have their trademark strawberries and cream (this...

Words cannot even express how excited we are to finally have a female driven spy film hit the big screen and coming from the mind of director Matthew Vaughn makes “Argylle” a win/win for sure! This film is sure to blur the lines of reality, but also be chock full of razor-sharp wit making it a true thriller in the spy film genre.
In the film, Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World franchise) is Elly Conway, the reclusive author of a series of best-selling espionage novels, whose idea of bliss is a night at home with her computer and her cat, Alfie. But when the plots of Elly’s fictional books—which center on secret agent Argylle and his mission to unravel a global spy syndicate—begin to mirror the covert actions of a real-life spy organization, quiet evenings at home become a thing of the past.
