When you think of a Western, you’re likely to think of the Wild West: Maybe the post-Civil War days of the 1870s and the Battle of Little Bighorn, or the 1880s and the gunfight at the O.K. Corral.
“1923” then had a particular challenge: To convey a lot of the most recognizable Western motifs — spurs, 10-gallon hats, chaps — but evolved 40 years beyond that most recognizable period. The 1920s were a time when the Wild West of Montana, the home state of Taylor Sheridan’s central Dutton family, directly collided with the modern age.
Costume designer Janie Bryant had already held the same role on Sheridan’s previous series “1883” and won an Emmy for costume-designing “Deadwood”. Because of that previous experience with Westerns, she was very attuned to the subtle differences needed for “1923.” Stuff like how, in “1883,” no cowboys would have worn plaid. Taylor Sheridan might be the king of the modern Western, but Landman proves he’s just as potent when he trades horses for oil rigs. After a quiet but steady rollout on Paramount+ in late 2024, Sheridan’s latest drama has erupted in popularity this week following a major update: Landman Season 2 is officially arriving in December 2025. The surge in interest was almost immediate. According to FlixPatrol, Landman just broke into the iTunes Top 10 TV shows in the U.S., landing at #8, while also climbing from #8 to #6 on Paramount+’s own Top 10 globally.
Created by Sheridan and Christian Wallace, Landman stars Billy Bob Thornton as Tommy Norris, a grizzled petroleum worker in West Texas navigating the landmines of the oil industry. Season 1 premiered on November 17, 2024, and wrapped in January, with Season 2 greenlit just two months later in March. Filming for the second season quietly kicked off in early April, keeping the turnaround tight — and fans appreciative.

Landman Season 2 is officially confirmed. Paramount+ announced the renewal in March 2025 following a highly successful first season. Production kicked off in April 2025 in Texas, with the new season slated to premiere in December 2025, just in time for the holiday season. This marks a slight shift from the initially expected November release.
What Happened in Landman Season 1?
Landman introduced viewers to Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton), a Texas oil “landman” navigating the cutthroat business world intertwined with crime, family drama, and corporate intrigue. The show explored Tommy’s complex relationships with his boss Monty Miller (Jon Hamm), his dysfunctional family, and the dangerous drug cartel led by Galino (Andy Garcia).
The season finale delivered a jaw-dropping twist: following Monty’s death, Tommy unexpectedly inherits the presidency of M-Tex Oil, facing a precarious financial future and cartel pressures. The personal and business stakes reached new heights, setting up a tense cliffhanger for...

Taylor Sheridan's 1923is making its way up the video-on-demand charts on one major platform.
Per FlixPatrol, the hit Yellowstone prequel series starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren is steadily making its way up to the top of the VOD chart of the top series available via iTunes. As of the time of writing, 1923 sits in twenty-third place, just ahead of Counterpart and Landman. That may not seem like much a move, but it does come after a four-spot leap on the part of 1923, which doesn't look to be slowing down anytime soon.

The series brought back Isabel May in the role of Elsa Dutton, who narrates each episode. 1923's ensemble cast is led by Ford and Mirren in the roles of Jacob and Cara Dutton. Running an oil empire isn't all steak dinners and smooth land deals — just ask Tommy Norris. Billy Bob Thornton’s Tommy may have inherited the throne at MTex Oil, but Season 2 of Landman is making one thing clear: just because you’re the boss doesn’t mean the job gets easier. With filming well underway and no premiere date announced yet, co-creator and executive producer Christian Wallace is giving fans a taste of the drama coming to Taylor Sheridan’s West Texas oil saga. As Season 1 ended, Tommy was thrust into a position he never really wanted — stepping into the late Monty’s (Jon Hamm) shoes as head of MTex Oil. But Wallace says viewers shouldn’t expect him to suddenly swap cowboy boots for cufflinks full time.
“Well, the thing about Tommy is: He likes the guys,” Wallace tells TV Line. “He likes being involved in the day-to-day operations,...

Streaming giant Netflix is turning Richard Osman’s breakout mystery novel The Thursday Murder Club into a movie. Here we have the iconic Helen Mirren leading the way as Elizabeth, a sharp retired spy living in a peaceful retirement community in England. But living at Cooper’s Chase isn’t as quiet as it seems. That’s right, every Thursday, Elizabeth, along with three other residents, Joyce (a retired nurse), Ibrahim (an ex-psychiatrist), and Ron (a former union boss), meet to dig into unsolved murder cases.
While it’s meant to be a fun way of keeping their minds sharp, when someone from their own town is found dead, things get quite real. The movie is going to be a perfect blend of humor and comedy and also features the likes of Pierce Brosnan (Ron), Ben Kingsley (Ibrahim), and Celia Imrie (Joyce). Taylor Sheridan is deep in the oil fields right now as production continues on Landman Season 2, but long before he ever recruited Billy Bob Thornton to star in his hit series, he wrote the script for a neo-Western film that’s found streaming success seven years later. Sheridan wrote Sicario: Day of the Soldado in 2018, the action sequel that follows the escalating drug war between the United States and Mexico as the drug cartels begin trafficking terrorists across the border. Sicario: Day of the Soldado is streaming for free on Tubi in the United States and on Netflix globally, where it’s become one of the most popular movies in several countries. The film earned scores of 62% from critics and 66% from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes, and it grossed $75 million at the box office against a $35 million budget.

It looks like one of the most talked-about characters in Landman is heading off to college — and the production team just dropped a major clue. As Landman Season 2 continues filming across North Texas, a new location might reveal what’s next for Ainsley Norris, the daughter of Billy Bob Thornton’s Tommy Norris and a beacon of positivity in Taylor Sheridan’s rough-and-tumble oilfield drama.
According to a casting notice obtained by Legacy Casting, Landman is filming “on-campus scenes” this week at Texas Christian University (Tcu) in Fort Worth, and they’re looking for extras aged 18–24 to play college students. Considering Ainsley’s arc in Season 1 focused on her return home and her struggle to reconnect with her father, this campus setting strongly suggests she’ll be starting (or returning to) college in Season 2.

Billy Bob Thornton is back in his boots. Paramount+’s Landman has officially returned to production for Season 2, and the first set images from this week’s shoot in Dallas prove that Tommy Norris isn’t hanging up his hat anytime soon. Spotted filming Monday morning in the city’s upscale Knox District, Thornton was seen outside the Michelin-recommended restaurant Mister Charles, flanked by extras and dressed in a denim-blazer combo and signature cowboy hat. Production ran between 9 a.m. and 10 p.m., according to notices obtained by The Dallas Morning News, with filming continuing later into the afternoon in Dallas’ Arts District.
Though the shoot wasn’t open to the public, curious pedestrians lined the sidewalk, catching glimpses of the Landman crew, the cast, and the logistical operation that shut down traffic in both directions on Knox Street between Travis and Cole. Flora Street and Crockett Street were also cordoned off nearby.

The second season of Landman is getting even bigger — and more star-studded. Burnet and Silverman will appear in recurring guest roles opposite returning leads Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, Andy Garcia, Sam Elliott, and Ali Larter, alongside Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chávez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, James Jordan, and Colm Feore.
Burnet will portray Charlie Newsom, a charming oil and gas engineer with a sharp mind and a magnetic edge. Next up, he stars opposite Jeff Daniels in Reykjavík and alongside Samuel L. Jackson in The Beast.

After breaking records on Paramount+, 1923 is setting some new ones on PVOD. Despite some stiff competition, the Yellowstone prequel series has topped the PVOD chart on iTunes.
According to FlixPatrol, 1923 is ranked No. 1 on iTunes' Global Top TV Shows, as of July 15. Even with the original series having now ended, the Yellowstone franchise remains one of the biggest IPs in the world, allowing 1923 to beat other fan-favorite series like Rick and Morty, The Last of Us, The White Lotus, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit on the PVOD chart. The prequel's success on iTunes isn't entirely surprising though, considering that the series was a major hit during its two-season run on Paramount+, with the series finale alone attracting an audience of $14 million during its first week on the streamer.

Taylor Sheridan’s Landman is back in downtown Fort Worth this week—but don’t let the familiar location fool you. While the Paramount+ hit series is returning to some of its Season 1 haunts, a surprise production shift to Oklahoma earlier this summer has shaken things up in a big way behind the scenes.
Production resumes this week in the heart of Fort Worth from Tuesday through Thursday, with cameras rolling on several downtown blocks and a full schedule of road closures to prove it.
This marks the latest stop on a busy Texas shoot, with Landman already filming in Fort Worth this past April and May, including major set pieces at Tcu and a funeral sequence in Jacksboro. But even as the crew returns to familiar ground, it’s clear Season 2 is heading into uncharted territory—literally and narratively.

Taylor Sheridan's "Yellowstone" franchise is unified in its themes of survival, family, capitalism, and the environment, but each show boasts its own distinct qualities to separate it from the pack. Each series takes place during a different time period, all of which pose unique threats, problems, and obstacles for the Dutton family. That said, "1883" and "1923" feel more closely connected as they feature some of the same characters and similar storylines (which we will get to later), but Taylor Sheridan believes that there is one key difference between both the "Yellowstone" prequel series.
According to Sheridan, "1883" and "1923" both deal with the topic of expansion, albeit in different ways. "1883" centers around pioneers traveling across the American West to make their fortunes, but it ends in disaster for most of them. Meanwhile, "1923" depicts an Africa where Spencer Dutton (Brandon Sklenar) makes a living as a hunter while rich English people...

"Friends" is widely regarded as one of the best sitcoms of all time, but its success has occasionally been frustrating for its main cast members, especially when they have tried to spread their wings. For Courteney Cox (who played the lovable cleanliness freak Monica Gellar for the show's entire duration), it meant becoming synonymous with her character, at least until she was cast as Gale Weathers in the "Scream" movie series. However, she had to fight for the chance to portray the ambitious reporter, as her "Friends" fame gave some people the wrong idea about her talents. As Cox recalled in a 2021 interview with The Hollywood Reporter:
"[Executive producer] Cary Woods was in my manager's office and she pitched me for the part of Gale. Cary thought it would be a nice surprise to have me play such a calculated character after being on 'Friends' and 'Family Ties,...

Taylor Sheridan’s oil-rig drama Landman is making a surprise move north — and no, not to Canada. The Paramount+ series has officially expanded its production footprint into Oklahoma for Season 2, marking a major shift from the show’s Texas roots. While much of Landman Season 2 has been filming across Texas since March — including scenes on Tcu’s campus, downtown Fort Worth, and a somber funeral sequence shot in Jacksboro — production is now rolling into Durant, Oklahoma, a small city about 120 miles northeast of Fort Worth.
The move signals both a behind-the-scenes evolution and the potential for new storylines, with casino scenes and new background characters on the docket. The latest filming location isn’t random. Durant is home to the Choctaw Casino & Resort, a likely setting for the new scenes, though producers haven’t officially confirmed it. Taylor Sheridan's shows often receive criticism for their portrayal of women, and his oil-worker drama "Landman" is no different. In this case, some fans believe that Ali Larter's Angela Norris is too over the top and shallow, as she spends a lot of her time drinking cocktails and hanging out at a pool. Similarly, critics have argued that Michelle Randolph's Ainsley Norris, a teenager, is way too sexualized, especially in the scenes that involve her wearing bikinis, talking about her love life, and being checked out by older men.
Be that as it may, Larter believes that Sheridan writes women who have depth, and there is nothing wrong with them being risqué from time to time. As she told The Hollywood Reporter:
"Nobody's putting me in a position that I'm not comfortable being in. I have two children. I've been married for 19 years. I love playing this character.

Landman may thrive on oil-rig chaos, corporate power plays, and sharp dialogue, but Episode 7 – All Roads Lead to a Hole – dares to do something different, and it’s why fans initially hated it. After six pulse-pounding chapters, the series hits the brakes. The oilfields go quiet. The tension simmers instead of explodes. For some viewers, it felt like filler. But look again, and you’ll find the smartest storytelling move in the whole season, even though it has the lowest IMDb rating.
This subdued hour trades spectacle for soul, peeling back layers of guilt, shifting alliances, and revealing just how much the real battles happen in boardrooms (and hearts), not just on the job site. It’s the calm before the storm, and the moment Landman proves it’s more than just another high-stakes energy drama.

Compared to his numerous other TV shows that are brimming with testosterone, intensity, and gravitas, Taylor Sheridan's Paramount+ hit "Landman" is significantly looser. I mean that in a good way. It's not that the Billy Bob Thornton-led oil drama doesn't have its raw, violent, and utterly suspenseful moments — hell, it even kicks off with one, as our hero stares down a Mexican cartel member in a hangar after he just shot someone dead — but this time the writer-creator also allows his characters to dabble in some more casual fun. That mainly happens when Thornton's Tommy Norris isn't out there on the field trying to solve problems for his billionaire oilman employer, Monty Miller (Jon Hamm). When Tommy is simply being a dad and an ex-husband whose wife wants to get back with him, his much-welcome deadpan humor lands with great aplomb.
But that wouldn't be nearly as entertaining...

The critical and viewership success of "Landman" is proof enough that it ranks among Taylor Sheridan's best shows, but the oil-worker drama doesn't rewrite his creative rule book by any means. In fact, some folks might assume that "Landman" and "Yellowstone" exist in the same universe, as they are both neo-Westerns whose plots involve organized crime and center around characters who boast strong family values. The family aspect of "Landman" also allows Billy Bob Thornton to bring elements of his personal life into his performances as series lead Tommy Norris, as he knows all about being a husband and father.
"That dynamic is like real life," as he noted at the Atx TV Festival while speaking on a panel about his experiences playing the dad to Michelle Randolph and Jacob Lofland's Ainsley and Cooper Norris, respectively, on "Landman" (via People). That said, Thornton added that his actual daughter...

Scream 7, the official return of the Scream franchise after a three-year hiatus, is set for release in February 2026. However, Camp did not spoil anything important, and simply preferred to raise anticipation about the return of none other than Sidney Prescott herself, Neve Campbell.
In an exclusive interview with MovieWeb's George Edelman, Camp talked about her arrival in one of the most beloved horror franchises of all time. It's been a long time coming for the actor whose previous horror credentials include TV appearances in True Blood, Creepshow and You. Camp's latest work is the action comedy Bride Hard,...

Nearly 30 years after it slashed its way into fans’ hearts, Ethan Embry is joining the Scream franchise.
After the actor’s casting in Scream 7 was announced in February, he recalled auditioning for the original 1996 Wes Craven-helmed teen slasher film that launched the popular horror franchise.
“The one thing that I can tell about Scream 7 was that it was absolutely incredible to be invited,” he told Bloody Disgusting. “That is a lovely community of people, from the very beginning to what it is now. And I’ve been wanting to be a part of that franchise since the very beginning.”
Embry added, “I remember auditioning for Scream 1. I can’t remember if it was for [Jamie Kennedy’s Randy] or [Matthew Lillard’s Stu]. It was one of those. But I remember not getting good feedback from Mr. Craven.”
While plot and character details remain under wraps, Embry...

Doing a job poorly isn’t edgy; it’s embarrassing. We’ve seen viewers turn off Landman Season 2 more from frustration than boredom. Unlike Yellowstone, where even flawed characters feel competent, Landman seems stuck in a loop of professional incompetence. From oil execs clueless about land deals to a bartender who picks fights, the show is littered with illogical choices that shatter immersion.
Viewers aren’t hating; they’re hopeful, hoping for competence that never materializes. They’re begging for depth and realism. If Landman really wants to earn its stripes in season 2, it needs to respect its characters and its audience by making their jobs believable and their decisions resonant.

A major dream came true for Ethan Embry this year, when he achieved something he set out to do a full three decades ago — get cast in a Scream movie. While chatting with Bloody Disgusting, the actor, who will soon appear inScream 7, opened up about the “absolutely incredible” time he had filming the production, which is set to slice into cinemas at the beginning of next year. Keeping specifics close to his chest, Embry said, “The one thing I can tell you about Scream 7 is that it was absolutely incredible to be invited. Actor Ethan Embry is currently doing the press rounds for his new horror movie Alma & the Wolf, which is set to receive a theatrical and digital release this Friday, June 20th – and our friends at Bloody Disgusting took the opportunity to ask him about another genre project he’s been working on, Scream 7. Embry couldn’t say much about the slasher sequel, but he did say that it was “incredible” to have the chance to be in the movie, especially since he auditioned for a role in the original Scream almost thirty years ago… and that audition didn’t go well.
Scream 7 started filming at the start of January, aiming for a February 27, 2026 release date, with Kevin Williamson, who wrote the screenplay for the original Scream, directing from a screenplay by 2022’s Scream and Scream VI writer Guy Busick, who crafted the story with his co-writer on the fifth and sixth films,...

Taylor Sheridan may be the mastermind behind the Yellowstone universe, but according to Landman star Billy Bob Thornton, he’s not exactly working off a blueprint when it comes to his latest hit series. In a wide-ranging Variety“ Actors on Actors” interview with Kathy Bates, Thornton revealed that Sheridan prefers to follow the story as it unfolds — and doesn't necessarily know the ending when he starts writing.
“When Sheridan starts writing, he’s not necessarily sure where it’s going to go. He lets the characters and the story take him when he’s gonna write it.”
That kind of storytelling, Thornton said, makes Landman feel uniquely alive. The popular drama, set in the rough and tumble world of West Texas oil deals, debuted in 2024 and quickly became another buzzy installment in the Sheridan TV universe. Thornton stars as Tommy Norris, a fixer who straddles the line between ruthless corporate interest and personal redemption.

Despite Taylor Sheridan’s growing empire of Yellowstone spin-offs and standalone dramas, not everything with his name on it is striking oil. Landman, the West Texas-set oil industry drama starring Billy Bob Thornton, is seeing a significant drop in its streaming performance. According to FlixPatrol, the series has now fallen to #17 on Paramount+ in the United States—marking its lowest placement since its series debut. That’s a sharp drop for a show that premiered with considerable buzz and a big-name cast, and the timing couldn’t be more awkward: Landman is currently in production on Season 2, with major updates and cast additions rolling in over the last few weeks.

It’s been quite a year for Kathy Bates and Billy Bob Thornton, who both lead hit shows. Bates stars in CBS’ “Matlock,” a reimagining of the ’80s drama, playing a scheming attorney who hides her true identity from her colleagues to obtain justice for her daughter. Meanwhile, Thornton transforms into the chain-smoking, ruthless oil company executive Tommy Norris on Taylor Sheridan’s “Landman” on Paramount+.
While on completely different paths as actors, they’ve known each other for three decades, first teaming up on Mike Nichols’ “Primary Colors,” where Bates tried to learn from the legendary director, and turned to him for advice. “I said, ‘What can you tell me about working with an actor?’” Bates recalls asking Nichols. “And he said, ‘Just love them.’”
But as it turns out, the pair almost met before “Primary Colors” — on the set of Bates’ most famous, and Oscar-winning, movie.

Of all the viral moments to come out of Taylor Sheridan’s Landman, few were quite as jaw-dropping — or stomach-turning — as the infamous father-daughter conversation between Billy Bob Thornton and Michelle Randolph. And now, months after the scene sent the internet into a collective cringe spiral, Thornton himself is finally weighing in. Spoiler: he agrees with the internet. It happened midway through Season 1 of Landman, when Thornton’s Tommy Norris has a sit-down with his 17-year-old daughter Ainsley, played by Randolph.
What starts off as a typical parental check-in quickly devolves into one of the most awkward scenes ever aired on Paramount+. Ainsley, with zero hesitation or boundaries, happily launches into a graphic monologue about her sex life — and all the "creative ways" she and her boyfriend avoid getting pregnant. Yes, she says this to her dad. With a straight face. And yes, Billy Bob Thornton had to act through it.

Scream 7 started filming at the start of January, aiming for a February 27, 2026 release date, with Kevin Williamson, who wrote the screenplay for the original Scream, directing from a screenplay by 2022’s Scream and Scream VI writer Guy Busick, who crafted the story with his co-writer on the fifth and sixth films, James Vanderbilt. (Vanderbilt is also a producer on the most recent sequels.) You might think this would be a gig Williamson would have dove right into, but it turns out that star Neve Campbell had to do some convincing, and it was her idea to have him direct the movie in the first place!

The second season of Landman is currently in production in Texas, and actress Ali Larter is sharing some very helpful details about what fans can expect to see when the buzzy Taylor Sheridan drama returns. In a lengthy interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the actress discussed the ins and outs of her portrayal of Angela, the ex-wife of series lead Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton) who decides to reconcile with him and bring their daughter Ainsley (Michelle Randolph) back with her, too. In addition to discussing the grueling audition process and her own views on the character’s much-fussed overt sexuality, Larter shared some insight into what’s next, after that deadly Season 1 finale. Among the new details revealed is the fact that Demi Moore will indeed be returning to her role as Cami, the wife of the now-fallen Monty (Jon Hamm), who died in the finale of heart disease.

Depending on where you are on the political and cultural spectrum, the topic of oil will elicit a different reaction from those in the opposite camp. Seeing it tackled in a TV show likeLandman will also evoke certain feelings, and when the show premiered last year, it was criticized by viewers and experts for its perceived intent to glorify oil production. However, as the season progressed, it became clear that Landman intended to present both sides in its unique fashion. Series star Billy Bob Thornton told Deadline that whatever someone thinks of the show, it's not driven by any one agenda. “I can’t speak for Taylor [Sheridan], but even though it might look like it on the surface, it doesn’t really come from a point of view of someone’s agenda. Ali Larter has played a variety of roles in her nearly 30-year career, but none has compared to Landman. "This is one of the most layered, complicated roles and shows I've ever had a chance to work on," she tells Gold Derby. The role "really has stretched me in every single way."
The latest series cocreated by Taylor Sheridan, Landman stars Billy Bob Thornton as Tommy Norris, the right-hand man for a powerful West Texas oil executive (Jon Hamm). Larter plays Tommy's ex-wife, Angela, who is first introduced during a FaceTime call while vacationing with her new husband. It doesn't take long for her to make her way back to Texas, where she attempts to reconcile with her ex and rebuild a household with their children, Cooper (Jacob Lofland) and Ainsley (Michelle Randolph).
Larter was immediately drawn to working with Sheridan, who "loves his women to be emotional roller coasters.

Landman Season 2 is on a steady pace of production ahead of its November 2025 release window, and the show’s leading star has just pulled back the curtain on one of the most emotional moments from Season 1. Starring in the lead role of Tommy Norris in Landman is Billy Bob Thornton, who takes over the President of M-Tex job from Monty Miller (Jon Hamm) after he dies at the end of Season 1. While he’s still in the hospital before he passes, Tommy and Monty are catching up when Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones walks in and delivers an all-time speech. During the Landman panel at the Newport Beach TV Festival last weekend, Thornton spoke about how this cameo came to be and just how shocked he and Hamm were to watch it happen:

With Yellowstone officially in the books and Taylor Sheridan’s empire still expanding like the Old West itself, it was only a matter of time before one of the franchise’s biggest offshoots made its Netflix debut. That day is almost here.

Ali Larter’s loyalty to Taylor Sheridan might seem admirable on the surface, but after what went down with Kelly Reilly on Yellowstone, it does raise eyebrows. However, Larter brushed off criticism, saying it “doesn’t bother” her, but fans aren’t convinced that kind of blind faith is wise. Sheridan’s track record with female characters has been rocky, and Reilly’s messy fate as Beth Dutton only deepened the concerns.
With Larter jumping into Landman under his creative direction, viewers are wondering if she’s next in line for a character arc that fizzles out or, worse, gets steamrolled by Sheridan’s macho storytelling priorities.

The Landman crew is deep in the oil fields of Texas — or at least, the soundstages and wide-open locations of Fort Worth — and according to Ali Larter, they’re making solid progress. When Landman first dropped on Paramount+, not everyone was on board with Angela Norris. Some critics saw her and her daughter Ainsley (Michelle Randolph) as overly glam, overly loud, and a bit too dialed up — but according to Ali Larter, that was all part of Taylor Sheridan’s plan. And she’s not about to apologize for it. In fact, she says the show would be unrecognizable if it tried to course-correct based on the early noise.
“There’s good press and bad press,” Larter told The Hollywood Reporter. “That’s challenging. I try to keep myself at arm’s length from that and stay with the work. This is Taylor’s baby. It gave Larter a fresh way into the role, making Angela more than just a tough oil town woman. It’s a rare peek into how Ts blends real-world inspiration into his scripts to shape characters that feel lived-in and genuinely human.

While the main Yellowstone series has now ended, the Western franchise marches on, with one of the various spin-offs now all set to land on Netflix. Fans have taken Sherdian's universe to their hearts, but having originally streamed on Paramount+, those without a subscription have been lagging behind on the story.
Led by a pair of Hollywood icons in Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, the prequel series 1923 takes audiences back to the earlier days of the Duttons, and is due to hit the streamer in certain territories from next month.
Created by Taylor Sheridan, 1923 stars Brandon Sklenar, Darren Mann (Animal Kingdom), Michelle Randolph (A Snow White Christmas), James Badge Dale (Hightown), Marley Shelton (Scream), Brian Geraghty (Big Sky), Aminah Nieves (Blueberry), Julia Schlaepfer (The Politician), Jerome Flynn (Game of Thrones), Jennifer Ehle (Zero Dark Thirty), Robert Patrick, Sebastian Roché (The Originals), and Timothy Dalton alongside Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren.
