‘Aew: Collision’ Review (Jul 31st 2025)
Image
Welcome to this week’s review of Aew: Collision, which – this week – is another Thursday night special. We’ve got the commentary team of Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness calling the action, so let’s get into our review!

Match #1: Aew World Tag Team Title Eliminator Tournament Quarterfinal – Brodido (Brody King and Roh World Champion Bandido) def. Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona) The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:

Kaun made the tag out to Toa Liona, who called for Brody King to tag in, but Bandido had no intention of leaving the action and stood up to Liona. After a stalemate between Bandido and Liona, King tagged in and the meat was served. The two biggest men in the match traded shots with Liona shockingly walking right through King’s massive chops across the chest. And then one of the best parts of the week,...

‘Aew: Dynamite’ Review (Jul 16th 2025)
Image
Welcome to this week’s review of Aew: Dynamite, which was broadcast from the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, Illinois. Let’s get straight into the review of the post-All In: Texas show!

Match #1: Kyle Fletcher def. Mascara Dorada The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:

Fletcher wasted no time, opening with a blistering high boot and grounding Dorada with heavy right hands before tearing at his mask. The strategy was clear: keep the high-flyer on the mat. But Dorada wouldn’t stay grounded for long. The luchador stunned the crowd with an unreal slingshot missile dropkick — planting his foot not on the ropes, but on the ring post to launch himself back into the action. Fletcher regained control with a well-timed counter, popping Dorada into the air and planting him with a twisting side slam reminiscent of a Bossman Slam. Back live, Fletcher stayed on the attack...

WWE Pays Homage to Sasha Banks Even If She Didn’t Return at Evolution 2025 as Speculated
Image
The women of WWE saw the return of the historic Evolution 2025 Premium Live Event that took place on July 13 at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. It was the second edition of the show that took place seven years after the first event. However, there was one woman who was not present who paved the way for the show to happen: Sasha Banks.

The Legit Boss is currently a part of WWE’s rival competition, Aew, wrestling under the ring name Mercedes Mone. However, that did not stop WWE from giving her a special shoutout at Evolution 2025, the same event she competed at years ago.

WWE Mentioned Sasha Banks at Evolution 2025, Despite Her Currently Being a Part of Aew Sasha Banks on WWE TV/ Credits: WWE.com

Sasha Banks was not present for WWE Evolution 2025, due to now being a part of the rival competition, All Elite Wrestling. Yet, the...

‘Aew: Collision’ Review (Jun 21st 2025)
Image
Welcome to this week’s review of Aew’s Collision, which, after a few weeks being combined with Dynamite in huge 4-hour “super” shows – brings wrestling back to Saturday nights. We’ve got the commentary team of Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness calling the action, so let’s get into our review!

Match #1: Jon Moxley def. Ar Fox The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:

The match started rapidly, Fox aggressively taking the fight directly to Moxley, quickly staggering the champion with explosive strikes and a sharp dropkick. Moxley soon countered decisively, flooring Fox with a perfectly-timed right hand out of mid-air. With Wheeler Yuta watching intently at ringside, Moxley began asserting dominance through punishing strikes and submissions, including a ruthless head-and-arm triangle choke using the top rope for extra leverage. Moxley’s aggression continued as he delivered a powerful suplex and followed with a forearm pressed aggressively across Fox’s face,...

9 Years Ago Mariah May Hinted WWE Was Her End Goal With Appreciation Post for Triple H
Image
Hi WWE Universe, I’m excited because it looks like Mariah May might potentially be coming to WWE, and it seems a sweet tweet she made 9 years ago in 2016 is coming to fruition. I have been following her trajectory as a lifelong wrestling fan, and the excitement as she is about to turn a new chapter is getting to me.

May has been on the rise in Aew as a competing talent, but she might be a free agent now, and the rumor mill is saying she is potentially heading over to WWE. The fact that she tweeted about Triple H so long ago is such a nice personal touch that shows she is a true fan, just like the rest of us. Fans can’t wait to see her thrive on the biggest stage in the world.

The tweet in 2016 from Mariah May that started it all Mariah May...

Match #1: Megan Bayne def. Anna Jay The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:

These two have been on a collision course since Anna Jay’s return to Aew on April 26, when Megan Bayne viciously attacked Jay. Subsequently, on May 3 in Atlantic City, Jay intervened to assist Harley Cameron during an assault by Bayne, leading to a physical confrontation between Jay and Bayne.

My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Kyle Fletcher def. Ar Fox The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:

Kyle Fletcher, representing The Don Callis Family himself, went one-on-one with the high-flying Ar Fox, who was involved in an 8-man tag against the Family on last week’s Collision. Both...

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew’s Collision, which brings wrestling back to Saturday nights – though this week it’s on a Thursday(?!). We’ve got the commentary team of Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness calling the action, so let’s get into our review!

Match #1: Ricochet def. Angelico The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:

There was a familiar face for wrestling fans in the crowd as Ricochet made his entrance – the one and only Zach Gowen. Angelico started this one off hot, keeping Ricochet grounded and even getting a little rub in on his bald head for good luck. In a less loving move, Angelico then slapped Ricochet’s dome a few times while he was stretching him out in a submission. But Ricochet turned the tables and scored the victory with the Spirit Gun. With another win in the ledger, Ricochet grabbed the microphone...

Paige on S*x Tape Leak: “It doesn’t hurt my feelings anymore” But the Fact That People Still Talk About It “Blows my mind”
Image
Former Aew wrestler Saraya/Paige has faced scrutiny for over a decade. Her wrestling career has been filled with controversies. She was one of the trailblazers in the WWE Divas Division of the early 2010s, but couldn’t fully reap the benefits of it. Her in-ring career in WWE got cut after a severe neck injury, and when she got a chance again at Aew, fans there never truly accepted her.

Even with all of that, Saraya/Paige has survived. She has made it through some of the darkest moments in her life. Paige has recently released a memoir where she tells it all, including how she felt the day her s*x tape got released without her consent.

Saraya/Paige at Aew All In 2023 (Credits: WWE) Paige is not bothered by the tape controversy anymore

In March 2017, private nude photos and s*x tapes from 2013 featuring Paige with fellow...

House Of Black’s Julia Hart on Aew Return, Feuding With Jamie Hayter, and Horror Inspirations
Image
The Princess of the Black Throne is finally returning to the ring. It’s been eight months since Julia Hart last graced the squared circle on All Elite Wrestling (Aew), having dropped her TBS championship to Willow Nightingale back in April before disappearing from TV to undergo shoulder surgery.

Hart makes her much-anticipated return to in-ring action against Jamie Hayter at “Aew Dynamite: Fight for the Fallen,” which will be simulcast on TBS and Max on Wednesday, Jan. 1.

“That adrenaline rush is what I miss most from being gone for eight months. I could literally feel it through my legs I was so excited. I was trying not to shake,” said Hart, who heralded her return to Aew TV with a trilogy of introspective vignettes featuring warring versions of Hart’s past and present personas.

“The first time I got hurt, back in January while I was still champion, I...
