Biography

Vishal Shah is an Indian film and theatre actor. His major work is in Gujarati films and theatre industry. After struggling and multitasking for 3 years of doing Chartered Accountancy & part time theatre, Vishal dropped CA half way to pursue acting full time & for his debut play he won the Transmedia Gujarati Stage & Screen Award as the best actor for stage in the year 2015 & got nominated again in 2016 for his performances in Gujarati plays Rang Badalto Manas & Aavjo Atithi.

He later debuted in films as an actor in year 2016 with an urban Gujarati film "Hu Tu Tu Tu " starring Raunaq Kamdar & Parth Oza directed by Shital Shah. In 2018 he shot for another Gujarati film " Hotel Zodiac " starring Sonali Kulkarni, Raghubir Yadav & Rajoo Barot which is under post production. In 2019 he worked in Gujarati Film " Mrugtrushna " directed by Darshan Trivedi which is already running successfully in Film Festival circuit.

Vishal got outstanding recognition from the industry and audience for his performance in Dhunki, which released in July 2019, Starring Pratik Gandhi & Deeksha Joshi.

Being one of the youngest to lead and promote acting and theatre in Gujarat, Vishal runs one of the most known and recognized Theatre company in Gujarat - Indie Productions.
