Rizwann Sikander

Rizwann Sikander is an Indian Actor turned Producer. Born in Makrana city, Rajasthan, a state which beautifies all elements of Arts and Craft. Since childhood, he grew up watching world cinema from the vast collection of movies owned by his Father's video library. This became his foundation for a career in the entertainment industry. These movies nourished his inner skills of dancing and acting, so he moved to Mumbai with his family in 1991. After coming to the 'City Of Dreams' Rizwann realised that getting proper training in this field is absolutely essential. He soon joined Sir Roshan Taneja's acting school in Andheri, where he overcame his limitations and tapped the hidden territories of creativity within. Taneja sir helped him see everything through the eyes of camera and improved is confidence as well as presentation skills. After getting the desired training, Rizwann took the initial steps in Bollywood Industry. Here, he got to learn that it was not easy to step in. The walls of this industry were very thick making just about anyone spin in circles trying to get their 1st break. Thereby, he started putting all his focus and energy in polishing his talent and networking as much as possible. Once Rizwann got well acquainted with the process, he started out his career by appearing in several television series. His First project was one of a kind, he won & created history in FEAR FACTOR INDIA - 2005 by being the only contestant in the second round & hanging INDIA'S Flag on the roof pod of the KL Tower (1,381 Feet), thus becoming the winner of the show. This daredevil act won him many hearts and became an honourable moment for the people of INDIA. This bought Zee Cine Star & The Great Indian Love Challenge, Gumraah (S2), kayamath, Aaja Mahi Vay, Kasauti Zindagi Ki, Kasam Se, Jab Love Hua and many others to his stardom. Then he decided to venture in modelling and advertising industry that goes hand in hand with Bollywood. He did prints for several brands like Jade Blue (Ethnic Indian Suits), Arrow, Wrangler, Blue Star, D code Jeans. He recently did a Jabong commercial with Diljit Dosanjh, Officer's Choice Blue Whiskey commercial Directed by Will Val Der Vulgt (Germany) which was a huge campaign titled "Raise your voice" against domestic abuse with Women. His Park Avenue commercial in Comedy genre was with 'David Lodge (UK)' who is one of the world's top 10 director of ads. Off lately, Rizwann was seen in the 2015 MTV Roadies X2 reality series in which he was much applauded and became the heartthrob of the youth. This got him a few short films namely RESPECT, What Do You Want ,Post Heist and Techsex (crossed 28.2 million views on Youtube) by multiple banners including 'Percept Pictures'. After a roller coaster experience on prints, commercial, reality shows, television series, short films and web series, Rizwann now looks forward to working in feature Films and overseas projects. He is looking for projects that are challenging and credible. Alongside his personal acting career, he is also an Executive Producer at Shama Sikander Films Pvt. Ltd. Which is Production company owned by his famous Sister/Actor 'Shama Sikander'. This banner has started their content with Short-film series called "Ab Dil Ki Sunn" scheduled to release in mid 2018. They are also launching an adventure cum travel show called "Compass" which is entirely conceptualised, written, shot, directed and acted by Rizwann himself. Not to forget his Fitness skills, that gave his competitors a head-on start in terms of flexibility, agility, clean eating, and lean muscle building which he was the initial practitioner of in his surroundings. Rizwann was among the first young lads to do the Human Flag, Split Jumps, Flips and CrossFit (A better way of strength and muscle building) in Mumbai. This growing star's fame and capability does not stop here. He is already a sensation of the Digital Platform and soon he will be seen on the big screen as well. He is quoted as one of the most humble, fit, pleasing, humorous, down to earth personalities in their 30s and he has just started, he says.
