Roman L. Armstrong

Roman Leren Armstrong born from the southern region in the United States in Alexandria, Louisiana. At the early age of seven years old, Roman's desire for filmmaking was discovered while watching his dad produce his talk show. At the age of fourteen, he wrote, produced, and directed his first short film 'On Our Own.' This film showcased his talent and passion for filmmaking.

Armstrong and his best friend since elementary school, Justin Carmouche, founded their very own production company, 'Rome and Mouche Productions', in 2015. The dynamic duo continued to create mini-movies, and their breakthrough film, 'I'm Starving' earned him recognition from the film industry. Roman attended the 'All- American High School Film Festival' in New York City, where he caught the attention of producers and production companies. During his sophomore year in high school, he was an 'Official Drama Nominee.' At that point, he decided to refocus, investing less time in sports and more time producing films with his company.

As a result, this sparked an era of filmmaking in high school, leading to the creation of short films, documentaries, and music videos. He became a part of his high school musical productions including 'Guys and Dolls', 'Damn Yankees', and 'Beauty and the Beast'. Despite having the option to attend D1 colleges for football, Roman chose to study digital filmmaking at Loyola University with his business partner. As a result of living together, they developed an enhanced work ethic uniting their focus and revealing their true potential as a team. During his first year of college, Armstrong booked professional film gigs and then decided it was best to learn directly from industry professionals rather than from professors.

At nineteen, Roman became of the youngest assistant directors in the world and a true professional who has honed his craft while working for major studios in the industry. He has 10,000 hours of experience working alongside the film industry's top professionals. Roman has the experience of leading film crews to efficiently overcome daily obstacles and create cinematic masterpieces. He has worked on notable projects such as Will Smith's movie 'Emancipation,' Apple Tv's series 'Swagger', Oprah Winfrey's 'Queen Sugar', Hulu's 'Looking for Alaska, 'Queen and Slim' by Universal Pictures, 'Good as Hell' by Lizzo, 'Roots' on the History Channel, Jay-Z's 'Women of the Movement,' 'Class Rank' and 'Queen of the South' on Netflix and many more.

Roman creates stories that propel and entertain the youth in today's society. He is a storyteller that challenges stereotypes and provokes thought, all while painting positive pictures of his culture. Armstrong has dedicated his life to perfecting the art of filmmaking. Roman's vision is to follow his detailed business plan for the next few decades which outlines the series, movies, and documentaries that he intends to create and distribute to the world. His main goal is to make a positive impact by creating everlasting films that will inspire people of all ethnicity's and ages.
