Born May 9, 1997 in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico, David Caro Levy is one of the most critically acclaimed young actors in Latin America. He plays Nicolás Larrea in Spain's Amazon Original TV series 'La Templanza', based on the novel by Maria Dueñas. He began his professional career when he was fifteen with a leading role in the award-winning television series 'Kin'. Since then, he has played several important roles in Mexican television series such as 'La Jefa del Campeon', 'Atrapada,' and 'Un Poquito Tuyo', which gave him a lot of recognition in Latin America and Africa. He recently made his film debut with '108 Costuras', selected for different film festivals around the globe and a box office success in Mexico. He joined the theater company of "La Casa de la Cultura" art school in Guanajuato when he was thirteen, at the same time attending different acting workshops. When he was fifteen he moved to Mexico City. David Caro Levy started playing different important parts in film and television, but when he was eighteen he decided to stop working and join the three-year program of the renowned acting school, "Centro de Educación Artística" in Mexico City. He left school two months before his graduation because he was offered an important role in a television series. He has also studied in other renowned acting schools, such as "Estudio Juan Codina" in Madrid, Spain and "Casazul" in Mexico City, Mexico. David Caro Levy is currently working on more projects in the United States and Latin America.
