Victoria Eugenia Viera Arroyave was born in Mexico City, better known under the stage name of Victoria Viera, is a Mexican/American film, theatre and television child actress, and singer. Victoria began her artistic career at the age of six doing television commercials for Mexico and US, before she was featured in movies and various Mexican soap operas and series. Since 2012, she has appeared in numerous transmissions broadcast in Mexico and Spanish language advertisement for US. Viera has been the image for clothing , mobile phone companies, food, toy manufacturers, department stores, toiletries, real estate, airlines, bread products, dairy products, pet food, jewelry, pet shelters, and reading campaigns. She is a passionate advocate against animal cruelty and supports various animal shelters and animal associations that help dogs and cats get adopted and/or to raise funds for medicine, medical services and shelter. Two years into Tv commercials, a casting agency had kept Victoria's head shots on file, put her forward to Cine Pantera Productions as a prospect for the role of Vanina. The overly enthusiastic child entered the audition excited and confident she would land the role -and she did! Her filming debut started in director Elisa Miller's film El Placer Es Mío when she co-starred as Vanina, daughter to Alexis (Camila Sodi). It is during this time Victoria acknowledges she wants to become an actress when she "grows up". El Placer es Mío premiere is shown for the first time in Festival de Morelia (2015), and screening in commercial theaters is launched in 2016.
Due to her persevering nature and commitment to become a serious actress, it is during this time she is taking a children's acting course in Casazul Artes Escénicas Argos to learn and enhance her acting skills. Later on, Victoria is to enter Televisa's (major Mexican television network) two year acting diploma at Centro DE Educación Artística Infantil (CEA). In parallel to her acting studies she also holds a scholarship in one of the best multicultural schools in Mexico City where, besides her basic subjects she is taught Japanese and English. But it's not until June of 2016 that Viera is unveiled on Televisa stellar time soap opera Sueño DE Amor playing Abril Sousa Velez, daughter to starring role Cristina (Marjorie DE Sousa) that she begins to be recognized and starts to appeal to young audiences. After Sueño DE Amor things were still for a year, until an associate producer from Ruben & Santiago Galindo productions saw her running through the hallways of Televisa and thought she was exactly what they were looking for to portray the bio series of Lupita D'Alessio in her early years. Victoria is called to audition, and was then selected to act the part of Mexican singer icon Lupita D'Alessio (child) for Televisa prime time television series Hoy Voy a Cambiar, which ran in the summer of 2017. As a result came her most demanding role: Victoria had to endure strong training sessions of ballet and diving to perform special footage for her character's childhood. This time her appearance in the series appealed to a bigger audience and growing presence than before. Subsequently after Hoy Voy a Cambiar, Viera was summoned to play Romina, her first antagonistic role, a small part in La Amiga DE en Medio chapter, from La Rosa DE Guadalupe (major rating Mexican television series). Later on she is invited to play other characters in different chapters. On April 2017 Televisa and producer Eduardo Meza had set forth a massive media search for its child starring role in Papá A Toda Madre its new prime time Mexican comedy soap opera. Victoria auditioned for the part, but although Viera did not suit the criteria for the starring role, she was then selected to portray the part of an older girl thus giving life to Tania Barrientos Valencia; oldest sister to two younger brothers who are constantly making mischief and pranks. Tania (Victoria Viera) and her brothers continue driving everybody crazy especially their wacky parents Vero Valencia (Veronica Jaspeado) and Toño Barrientos (Raúl Araiza) in this very controversial and up-to-date soap opera. Four months after finishing Papá A Toda Madre Victoria auditions for Roberto Gomez Fernandez productions La Jefa Del Campeón soap opera, and wins over the child version of Valeria (Fernanda Urdipalleta), in this soccer inspired Mexican soap opera that is broadcast during FIFAS World Soccer Cup 2018. 2018 brings many novelties to the child actress, for one, she becomes a regular guest in Programa Hoy talk show, appearing 18 times in a 5month time frame; taking part in various sketches that involve: fashion, pets, child psychology, gourmet, entertainment, show games, experiments and even a guest appearance to celebrate her birthday. One series and 3 soap-operas had gone by since she first stepped foot in Televisa for the first time, and there were no other projects in sight until Distroller E Miusikul musical theatre play started their casting calls. Here Victoria got cast to embody DE posh and fashionable warm wholehearted Berinaiz. Rehearsals took up more than a year but the wait was worth it, eight nominations in Metro Awards (Mexico's Tonys) and an award for best original music score in a musical play proved it. Unfortunately all did not end well commercially speaking, the publicity was a flop and did not reach the audiences and 6 months after its premiere the play was canceled. And just as the curtains fell on Distroller E Miusikul a few miles away the clapperboard read Victoria Viera co-starring in Netflix's "Dad Wanted". Victoria played the beautiful, innocent and loving Laura, although she was not the star of the film she had the most endearing role of all. Laura would bring the breeze of fresh air to a contrasting dramatic plot and ease the tension away, showing her cheery loving and loyal soul to a perplexed and troubled Blanca (Karen Coronado). Later on, Victoria joined cast of SOS Me Estoy Enamorando soap opera, where she took up the role of Anita Fernández. A typical teenager who has many problems with her mother Inés, played by Ana Patricia Rojo. Her family is dysfunctional due to the fact that Anita is an illegitimate child, but she does not know it. Despite her father's (Cesar Evora) attempts to cover up this bigamy all his attempts to cover his family secret, come to light when Inés dies in an accident. This role gave more visibility to Victoria as a series regular. A couple of self tapes later Victoria gets her first lead role in the much awaited remake of La Hora Marcada terror series. La Visita immerses Victoria in old historical context, one where innocent girls were sold to an old convent where nuns cure villagers via miracle procedures -all through the Abads powers invested in the nuns; in exchange for these powers the nuns would offer the young novices to the Abad. Victorias prowess in La Hora Marcada, where she seamlessly transitions between assertiveness, innocence, raw rage, fear, crafting a multi-dimensional performance that leaves a lasting impact. Viera delves deep into complex characters, portraying a range of emotions that captivates the audiences in November 2023. Meanwhile Carla Estrada was also getting started with massive production operations for her monumental new project Ellas Soy Yo -the life of Gloria Trevi. Casting calls were done in Miami, Monterrey, Guadalajara and Mexico City. Nearly 5,000 actresses auditioned for the series, and after many callbacks and workshops Victoria saw every step through and was selected to portray Heidi Ramirez. Heidi's character would unravel and finally lead to the arrest of Gloria and Cesar Santiago, after she was forced to leave her newborn in Spain due to the fact that she was on the run and a minor at the time she had given birth. This project made Victoria venturing into darker narratives. Scenes from Ellas Soy Yo unravel a compelling story of manipulation and child abuse. Viera skillfully navigates the complexities of her character, depicting a girl taken advantage of by an older man, her mind manipulated to its limits. Its's a testament to her ability to portray intense and thought-provoking roles with authenticity. Some many heart wrenching moments left Victoria in dire need of a drastic change and just before last call from Ellas Soy Yo Victoria was cast as Victoria (yep characters first name is the same as in real life) in Familia DE Diez. This would be her first time doing comedy; and it was extremely difficult due to the fact that the character has a low income Mexican accent that took many hours to practice with an accent coach. Beside the fact that she was part of the main cast and she would have to appear in every scene. Her lines had to be exactly as placed on script to deliver punch lines and jokes. And if that wasn't stressful enough Victoria experienced digital violence (this was a new), fans were upset that the former actress had been replaced. Happy to say everything turned up OK, ratings went up in the majority of the 15 chapters in season 10 and viewers had the chance to see the lighter side of Viera's talent with comedic punch lines in Familia DE Diez. Her impeccable timing and delivery bringing humor to the forefront, showcasing her versatility as an actress who can with certain ease switch between genres. 2023 was unbelievable - 3 projects all in prime time " and in different genres: terror, drama and comedy!
