Harald Hardrada proclaimed himself the sole King of Norway, setting the stage for his ruthless reign. Vikings: Valhalla hinted at Magnus Olafsson's fate as he faced imprisonment by Harald, most likely looking for vengeance against his uncle. Godwin's plan for his son's ascension to the English throne faced obstacles, signaling more schemes to come.
Although Vikings: Valhalla ended with its third season, it set up a couple of storylines for a fourth season that wont happen. After Vikings ended with its sixth season, Vikings: Valhalla arrived to explore the stories from the final years of the Viking Age. As such, it followed new characters from different backgrounds and with different goals, though all of them linked through their Viking heritage. Vikings: Valhalla introduced viewers to Leif Erikson (Sam Corlett), his sister Freydis (Frida Gustavsson), Harald Sigurdsson (Leo Suter), King Canute of Denmark (Bradley Freegard), and Emma of Normandy...

Vikings: Valhalla's final season left many storylines unresolved. The show covered too many storylines in season 3 in just 8 episodes, leading to unanswered questions. Vikings: Valhalla won't have a season 4 to continue developing its main characters and plotlines.
Vikings: Valhalla has now ended, and even though I enjoyed the final season, it only made me mad that a fourth season isnt happening. Vikings: Valhalla is the sequel series to Vikings, but as its set over 100 years after the main series, it follows a new group of characters from the final years of the Viking Age. Although, just like in Vikings, it wasnt historically accurate, Vikings: Valhalla built engaging storylines with real-life characters, such as Leif Erikson (Sam Corlett), his sister Freydis (Frida Gustavsson), Harald Sigurdsson (Leo Suter), King Canute of Denmark (Bradley Freegard), and Emma of Normandy (Laura Berlin).
Vikings: Valhalla season 2 ended with Freydis taking over Jomsborg as its leader and priestess,...

Vikings: Valhalla season 3 follows King Canute's decision on his successor, involving his children from different mothers. Emma of Normandy's sons and Canute's sons went to Kattegat for Canute's decision, with creative liberties taken. Some eal life vs. show differences: Edward's exile in Normandy, Alfred's tragic fate, and Svein and Aelfgifu's infamous rule in Norway.
Vikings: Valhalla season 3 focused on the last days of King Canute (Bradley Freegard) and his decision about who would succeed him as King of England, bringing together his children, Emma of Normandy's (Laura Berlin) sons, and their son. Set seven years after the ending of Vikings: Valhalla season 2, the shows third and final season caught up with Leif Erikson (Sam Corlett), Freydis (Frida Gustavsson), Harald (Leo Suter), King Canute, and Queen Emma in different parts of the world, each dealing with a different challenge or conflict, of which some were historically accurate to an extent.
